Description
デジタルカメラ、パーソナルコンピュータに接続した卓上式カメラ、および携帯電話に埋め込まれたカメラ、といった撮像デバイスには、単独のレンズが具わっているのが普通であって、このレンズが撮影対象物からの光を受けて通し、その光を電荷結合素子(CCD)センサーアレイまたは相補型金属酸化膜半導体(CMOS)センサーアレイへと導くようになっている。こうしたカメラのほとんどは彩色対応カメラ(color cameras)なので、ぼんやりした(pixilated)色フィルター(波長フィルター)をレンズとセンサーアレイとの間に挿入する。色フィルターには、通常は赤と緑と青のフィルター素子が含まれており、これらが業界ではBayer模様と称されるモザイク模様を成していることがある。色フィルターの各素子は、伝送する色には拘らず、センサーアレイ内に位置するセンサー素子に沿って整列している。こうした整列によって、センサーアレイで色画素(ピクセル)情報が捕捉できるようになる。その後、この色画素情報を処理して、対象物の色情報(波長情報)を生成する。
Claims (10)
- 撮像系(300)であって、
可視光のスペクトル全体から、第一のぼんやりした(pixilated)輝度情報を生成するように機能する、第一の輝度センサーアレイ(340)と、
可視光の第一の副スペクトルから、第一のぼんやりした色情報を生成するように機能する、第一の色センサーアレイ(330)と
を含み、前記第一のぼんやりした輝度情報と前記第一のぼんやりした色情報とを組み合わせて、対象物の画像を生成する
ことを特徴とする、撮像系。 - 撮影する前記対象物から、可視光の前記スペクトル全体を受けるように構成されており、また、可視光の前記スペクトル全体を、前記第一の輝度センサーアレイへと導くように機能する、第一のレンズ(335)と、
撮影する前記対象物から、可視光の前記スペクトル全体を受けるように構成されている、第二のレンズ(320)と、
前記第二のレンズと光学的に直列に配置されている第一の光学フィルター(325)であって、前記第二のレンズによって直接に前記第一の光学フィルターへと向けられる可視光の前記スペクトル全体を、前記第一の光学フィルターが受けるように構成されており、また、前記第一の光学フィルターは、可視光の前記第一の副スペクトルを、前記第一の色センサーアレイへと伝送するよう機能するような、第一の光学フィルター(325)と
をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の撮像系。 - 前記第一の光学フィルター(325)が、少なくとも、赤、緑、および青の光に対応する三種の副スペクトルを、伝送するように機能するBayerフィルターであって、また、前記第一の色センサーアレイ(330)が、少なくとも、ひとつの赤色画素とひとつの緑色画素とひとつの青色画素とに対応する色情報を生成するように機能する
ことを特徴とする、請求項2記載の撮像系。 - 前記第一の光学フィルター(325)が、四分劃式フィルター(four-quadrant filter)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2記載の撮像系。
- 可視光の第二の副スペクトルから、第二のぼんやりした色情報を生成するように機能する、第二の色センサーアレイ(315)
をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の撮像系。 - 前記第一の色センサーアレイ(330)の第一センサー素子に、対応している前記第二の色センサーアレイ(315)の第一のセンサー素子を基準として、空間的に偏差をつけることを特徴とする、請求項5記載の撮像系。
- 第二の光学フィルター(305)
をさらに含み、前記第二の光学フィルターが、可視光の副スペクトルを三種以上伝送するよう機能するBayer色フィルターであって、ここで前記三種の副スペクトルが、前記第二の色センサーアレイ(315)上に投射される、前記第二の副スペクトルを含む
ことを特徴とする、請求項5記載の撮像系。 - 前記第一の光学フィルターのモザイクフィルター模様に、前記第二の光学フィルターの実質的に同様なモザイクフィルター模様を基準として、空間的に偏差をつけることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の撮像系。
- 前記第一の光学フィルターと前記第二の光学フィルターのうちの少なくとも一方が、前記撮像系に所望の被写界深度を与えるようなサイズで構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の撮像系。
- 前記第一の色センサーアレイと前記第二の色センサーアレイのうちの少なくとも一方が、前記撮像系に所望の被写界深度を与えるようなサイズで構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項5記載の撮像系。
