Abstract
【解決手段】2つの第1の表示デバイス1と、第2の表示デバイス2を表裏の関係で設ける。2つの表示デバイス1,2は、例えば一方が有機ELディスプレイで、他方がLCDである。そこで、動画など有機ELで表示し、コンピュータ画面などをLCDで表示するように、映像信号の特性に応じてディスプレイを切り換えて使用する。

Claims (15)
- 同じ映像信号の表示が可能なディスプレイを2つ有するデュアルディスプレイ装置であって、
2つのディスプレイは、表示特性が異なり、映像信号の特性に応じてディスプレイを切り換えて使用できることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
前記2つのディスプレイは、表示面が外側となるように一体化されることで表裏の関係で形成されていることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
自然画の映像信号表示に一方のディスプレイを使用し、コンピュータ画像に他方のディスプレイを使用することを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
一方のディスプレイは、有機ELディスプレイであって、他方は液晶ディスプレイであることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項4に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
複数のボタンを有する操作部を一面側に有する本体部に対し折り畳み可能に取り付けられ、操作部が操作可能になるように開かれた場合に液晶ディスプレイが操作部側に位置してアクティブになり、
操作部を覆うように折り畳んだ場合に、有機ELディスプレイが外側となってアクティブになることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項4または5に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
有機ELディスプレイのメニュー画面を液晶ディスプレイのメニュー画面に比べ、黒の多い輝度の低い画面にすることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
前記一方のディスプレイと、前記他方のディスプレイは、解像度が異なることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
前記一方のディスプレイと、前記他方のディスプレイは、カラー画素を構成するサブピクセル構成が異なることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
前記一方のディスプレイはデルタ配列タイプのディスプレイであり、前記他方のディスプレイはストライプ配列タイプのディスプレイであることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 同じ映像信号の表示が可能なディスプレイを2つ有するデュアルディスプレイ装置であって、
2つのディスプレイの画素は、表示データを記憶するメモリとして利用可能であり、一方のディスプレイを表示に利用する際に他方のディスプレイの画素を表示データのメモリとして利用することを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項10に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
2つのディスプレイは、有機ELディスプレイであることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項11に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
前記有機ELディスプレイの各画素には、スタティックメモリが設けられていることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項11または12に記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
前記有機ELディスプレイの各画素は、一方のRGB画素がそれぞれ異なる有機EL材料で形成され、他方は白色有機EL材料とカラーフィルタで形成されていることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項11〜13のいずれか1つに記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
封止基板が両ディスプレイで共有されていることを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項10〜14のいずれか1つに記載のデュアルディスプレイ装置において、
前記メモリとして利用可能な画素は、表示メモリの一部として利用されている場合、表示時と異なる電圧で駆動されて低消費電力で動作することを特徴とするデュアルディスプレイ装置。
