Description

Claims (19)
- 穀物中の酵素の量を増大するための方法であって、穀物が損傷する条件下にて該穀物を発芽させることを含む、上記方法。
- 穀物に物理的処理を施し、該穀物を損傷させる条件下にて該穀物を発芽させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 穀物を回転、撹拌または加圧することによって、該穀物に物理的処理を施す、請求項2記載の方法。
- 物理的処理を施すことにより、穀物を磨耗、破裂または傷つける、請求項3記載の方法。
- 穀物に化学的処理または熱処理を施し、該穀物を損傷させる条件下にて、該穀物を発芽させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 穀物の選択した器官または組織を損傷する条件下にて、該穀物を発芽させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 選択した器官または組織が、細根もしくはその一部、芽、穀物の殻、果皮、穀物の外皮、アリューロン層またはヘミセルロース層である、請求項6記載の方法。
- 選択した器官または組織が穀物の細根である、請求項7記載の方法。
- 穀物に物理的処理を施し、該穀物より細根を部分的にまたは完全に除去する条件下にて、該穀物を発芽させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 穀物より細根が成長または再成長する条件に付する、請求項9記載の方法。
- 穀物が約40%以下の含水率である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 穀物を発芽する前に、水溶液中に穀物を浸漬する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 穀物を浸漬し、該穀物の含水率を約40%以下とする、請求項12記載の方法。
- 水溶液が成長促進剤、抗菌剤およびアルカリからなる群より選択される1または複数の化合物を含む、請求項12記載の方法。
- 穀物を1以上の水溶液中に浸漬する、請求項14記載の方法。
- 穀物を最初に50ppm SO2を含有する水溶液中に浸漬し約20%まで該穀物の含水率を高める、請求項16記載の方法。
- 穀物をさらに、5〜20 ppm ジベレリン酸を含有するpHが約8.0の水溶液中に浸漬し、該穀物の含水率を約40%まで高める、請求項16記載の方法。
- 穀物を、約5日間またはそれよりも短い期間浸漬する、請求項12記載の方法。
- 穀物が損傷する条件下にて約10日間またはそれより短い期間、該穀物を発芽させる、請求項1記載の方法。
