Abstract
【解決手段】地上側に設置された送電部の上に電動車両を駐車させ、該電動車両の車体下面に設けられた受電部32を送電部の位置に整合させて、送電部から空中送電される電力エネルギを受電部32で受電し、前記電動車両側に搭載されたバッテリを非接触充電させる電動車両の充電装置1Aであって、受電部32の動作面32aを、送電および受電の作用を妨げずに外部に対して遮蔽する遮蔽手段を設けた。この遮蔽手段としてはロールスクリーン41が好適である。

Description
即ち、本発明に係る電動車両の充電装置の第1の態様は、地上側に設置された送電部の上に電動車両を駐車させ、該電動車両の車体下面に設けられた受電部を前記送電部の位置に整合させて、前記送電部から空中送電される電力エネルギを前記受電部で受電し、前記電動車両側に搭載されたバッテリを非接触充電させる電動車両の充電装置において、前記受電部および前記送電部の少なくとも一方の動作面を、前記送電および受電の作用を妨げずに外部に対して遮蔽する遮蔽手段を有することを特徴とする。
しかも、ロールスクリーンが汚れても、この汚れた面を巻き上げ機構により巻き上げて、常に汚れていない面を送電部と受電部との間に配置し、ロールスクリーンに付着した汚物の過熱等による悪影響を回避することができる。
図3は、遮蔽手段を受電部32に備えた充電装置の第1実施形態を示す側面図である。この充電装置1Aでは、遮蔽手段として、受電部32の動作面を覆うロールスクリーン41が設置されている。このロールスクリーン41は、アラミド系の素材、例えばケブラー(デュポン社の登録商標:正式名称はポリパラフェニレンテレフタルアミド)のような強靭な膜材により形成され、図3および図4(a)に示すように、受電部32の動作面32aを覆ったカバー位置41aと、図4(b)に示すように、受電部32を外部に露出させた開放位置41bとの間を開閉動作するように構成されている。即ち、例えば受電系統4の基部である放熱体31の前後に、電動車両2の車幅方向に延びるローラ42,43が軸支されて巻き上げ機構44が構成されており、このローラ42,43間にロールスクリーン41が張られるようになっている。
図5および図6は、遮蔽手段を備えた充電装置の第2実施形態を示す側面図である。この充電装置1Bの基本構成は、遮蔽手段を除けば第1実施形態の充電装置1Aと同一であるため、各部に同一符号を付して説明を省略する。この充電装置1Bでも、受電部32の動作面32aを覆う遮蔽手段として、ロールスクリーン50が設けられている。このロールスクリーン50は、送電部10と受電部32との間の送電および受電の作用を妨げない材質で形成されている。その素材としては、マイクロ波を透過させるものがよく、例えば第1実施形態のロールスクリーン41と同様なアラミド系素材が好適である。
図7および図8は、遮蔽手段を備えた充電装置の第3実施形態を示す側面図である。この充電装置1Cは、第2実施形態の充電装置1Bを変形させたものである。即ち、放熱体31の前後にローラ57,58が軸支されて巻き上げ機構59が構成されている点は充電装置1Bと同様であるが、ローラ57,58を取り巻くように設けられた環状のロールスクリーン60の内周側に放熱体31および受電部32が設置されており、この環状のロールスクリーン60によって受電系統4全体が取り巻かれた構成となっている。
図9は、遮蔽手段を備えた充電装置の第4実施形態を示す斜視図である。この充電装置1Dでは、遮蔽手段として、ロールスクリーンではなく、金属や樹脂等の剛体で形成されたシャッター機構63により受電部32を開閉可能に覆う構成となっている。詳しくは、受電系統4全体が例えば樹脂製の防塵ボックス64の内部に収容され、この防塵ボックス64の下面には、受電部32に位置に合わせて広めの開口部64aが形成され、この開口部64aがシャッター機構63により開閉されるようになっている。開口部64aの大きさは遮蔽部材23の外形寸法よりも大きくして充電時に遮蔽部材23の先端が開口部64aの中に突入するようにすることが望ましい。

Claims (6)
- 地上側に設置された送電部の上に電動車両を駐車させ、該電動車両の車体下面に設けられた受電部を前記送電部の位置に整合させて、前記送電部から空中送電される電力エネルギを前記受電部で受電し、前記電動車両側に搭載されたバッテリを非接触充電させる電動車両の充電装置において、
前記受電部および前記送電部の少なくとも一方の動作面を、前記送電および受電の作用を妨げずに外部に対して遮蔽する遮蔽手段を有することを特徴とする電動車両の充電装置。 - 前記遮蔽手段は、前記動作面を覆うように設けられたロールスクリーンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動車両の充電装置。
- 前記ロールスクリーンは、巻き上げ機構を有して前記動作面を開閉可能に覆い、その開放時には前記動作面を外部に露出させることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電動車両の充電装置。
- 前記ロールスクリーンは、前記送電および受電の作用を妨げない材質で形成されて前記動作面を常時覆い、巻き上げ機構により前記動作面を覆っている範囲を置換させることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電動車両の充電装置。
- 前記ロールスクリーンの表面に付着した汚物を、前記ロールスクリーンの開閉動作および巻き上げ動作とともに払拭する払拭手段を具備することを特徴とする請求項2〜4のいずれかに記載の電動車両の充電装置。
- 前記遮蔽手段は、剛体で形成されたシャッター機構により前記動作面を開閉可能に覆う構成であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動車両の充電装置。
