Description

The present invention relates to a power conversion device, and more particularly to a power conversion device including a connector that is electrically connected to a rotating electrical machine.

For example, a hybrid vehicle using an engine and a motor generator as a power source includes a PCU (power control unit), and this PCU converts DC power obtained from a battery into AC power to drive the motor generator. The battery is charged by converting AC power generated by the motor generator into DC power.

Patent Document 1 describes a technique for electrically connecting a PCU and a motor generator (MG) with an MG connector. In the technique described in Patent Document 1, an MG connector is fixed to a terminal block provided in a PCU case. Patent Document 2 discloses a current sensor that also serves as a terminal block for a current sensor included in a power conversion device.

Incidentally, although the technique regarding a double volt | bolt is described in patent document 3, there is no description or suggestion about what part is used by what function in a power converter device.

In view of the above-described background art, the inventor of the present application has conducted research and development on, for example, the arrangement positions and fixing means of parts constituting a power conversion device mounted on a vehicle. In particular, attention was paid to a connector (MG connector) electrically connected to the rotating electrical machine.

The present invention has been made in the course of research and development, and an object thereof is to improve the location of the MG connector and the fixing means.

A suitable power conversion device for the above object includes a power conversion module that mutually converts DC power and AC power, and a connector that is electrically connected to the rotating electrical machine, and the connector includes an inner bolt and an outer bolt. The power conversion module is physically fixed and electrically connected to the power conversion module using a double bolt configured as described above.

According to the above configuration, since the connector electrically connected to the rotating electrical machine is fixed to the power conversion module via the double bolt, for example, a terminal block for fixing the connector can be omitted. Become. Thereby, compared with the structure which provides a terminal block, for example, a power converter device can be reduced in size and reduction of a number of parts and cost is also anticipated. Further, since the double bolt has both a physical fixing function and an electrical connection function, it is advantageous in terms of the number of parts and cost compared to the case where these functions are realized by separate parts.

In a preferred embodiment, the power sensor further includes a current sensor provided between the power conversion module and the connector, and the current sensor includes a through hole through which the double bolt penetrates and is provided in the through hole. The protrusion and the groove formed in the inner bolt of the double bolt inserted into the through hole are fitted to each other.

According to the said structure, since the protrusion of a through-hole and the groove | channel of an inner side bolt are fitted together, rotation of an inner side bolt is suppressed. Therefore, for example, when only the outer bolt is removed, the co-rotation in which the inner bolt also rotates following the rotation of the outer bolt is suppressed.

In a preferred embodiment, the inner bolt is inserted into a screw hole provided in the power conversion module and tightened, whereby the inner bolt is fixed to the power conversion module, and the outer bolt is fixed to the inner bolt. The connector is fixed between the inner bolt and the outer bolt by being inserted and tightened into the provided screw hole.

According to the present invention, the location of the MG connector and the fixing means are improved. For example, according to a preferred aspect of the present invention, since the connector (MG connector) electrically connected to the rotating electrical machine is fixed to the power conversion module via the double bolt, the terminal for fixing the connector It is possible to omit the table. Further, according to another preferred aspect of the present invention, since the protrusion of the through hole and the groove of the inner bolt are fitted together, the co-rotation of the inner bolt rotating following the rotation of the outer bolt is suppressed. The

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described.

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a power converter suitable for implementing the present invention. FIG. 1 shows a configuration in a PCU (power control unit) 100 which is a preferred example of the power converter. The PCU 100 is mounted on, for example, a hybrid vehicle, and the hybrid vehicle uses a motor generator (MG) that exchanges power between an internal combustion engine such as a gasoline engine or a diesel engine and a rechargeable battery as a power source.

FIG. 1A shows an IPM (intelligent power module) 10 provided in the PCU 100 and its peripheral portion. IPM 10 converts DC power obtained from the battery into AC power and outputs the AC power to the motor generator. As a result, the motor generator is driven. The IPM 10 converts AC power generated by the motor generator into DC power and outputs it to the battery. Thereby, the battery is charged.

In FIG. 1, a power module 12 and a cooling water channel constituent member 14 constituting the IPM 10 are illustrated. In the power module 12 in which the power element is molded, a known circuit configuration necessary for a function such as power conversion, for example, an IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) IC or the like is provided. Further, the AC power terminal in the power module 12 and the bus bar 16 are electrically connected, and the AC power is exchanged with the outside of the power module 12 through the conductive bus bar 16 extended from the power module 12. Is exchanged. The power module 12 is supported by a cooling water channel constituent member 14 made of, for example, resin. Further, the cooling water channel constituting member 14 is fixed to the center case 50 partially illustrated.

The MG connector 30 is a connector that is electrically connected to the motor generator, and includes a conductive bus bar 32 therein. The outer bolt of the double bolt 20 is inserted into one end of the bus bar 32. Further, for example, a harness is connected to the connection terminal 34 at the other end of the bus bar 32, and the MG connector 30 and the motor generator are electrically connected via the harness.

The double bolt 20 is composed of an inner bolt and an outer bolt both having conductivity. The inner bolt is inserted into a screw hole provided in the cooling water passage component 14 of the IPM 10, that is, a screw hole into which the nut 18 is inserted, and is tightened. As a result, the inner bolt is fixed to the IPM 10. In addition, the bus bar 16 is extended to the opening part of the screw hole provided in the cooling water channel component member 14, and the inner bolt having conductivity and the bus bar 16 are electrically connected by tightening the inner bolt.

On the other hand, the outer bolt is inserted into a screw hole provided in the inner bolt and tightened. At that time, the outer bolt is fastened to the inner bolt by sandwiching the bus bar 32 of the MG connector 30 between the outer bolt and the inner bolt. In this way, the MG connector 30 is physically fixed to the IPM 10 using the double bolt 20. Further, since the double bolt 20 and the bus bar 32 are electrically connected, and further, the double bolt 20 and the bus bar 16 are electrically connected, the IPM 10 and the MG connector 30 are electrically connected via the double bolt 20. Connected to.

The current sensor 40 is disposed between the IPM 10 and the MG connector 30 and includes a through hole that allows the double bolt 20 to pass therethrough. A protrusion is provided in the through hole. Moreover, the groove | channel is provided in the inner side volt | bolt of the double volt | bolt 20 inserted in the through-hole.

An enlarged view of a region indicated by a circle B in FIG. 1A is shown in FIG. FIG. 1B shows a protrusion 42 provided in the through hole of the current sensor 40 and a groove 23 provided in the inner bolt 22. The protrusion 42 provided in the through hole and the groove 23 of the inner bolt 22 inserted into the through hole are fitted together.

The protrusion 42 fitted in the groove 23 presses the inner bolt 22, whereby the rotation of the inner bolt 22 is suppressed, and for example, loosening of the inner bolt 22 fixed to the IPM 10 is prevented. Further, for example, when only the outer bolt 24 is removed during maintenance of the apparatus, it is possible to prevent co-rotation in which the inner bolt 22 rotates following the rotation of the outer bolt 24.

FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a method for attaching the inner bolt 22 and the current sensor 40. First, as shown in (I), the inner bolt 22 is inserted and tightened into a screw hole provided in the cooling water channel constituting member 14 of the IPM 10, that is, a screw hole into which the nut 18 is inserted.

Next, as shown in (II), the current sensor 40 is moved along the direction of the arrow, and the inner bolt 22 is inserted into the through hole of the current sensor 40. Then, with the inner bolt 22 inserted into the through hole of the current sensor 40, as shown in (III), the current sensor 40 is dropped in the direction of the arrow, thereby causing the protrusion 42 of the current sensor 40 and the groove of the inner bolt 22 to be dropped. 23 are fitted together (see FIG. 1).

Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the outer bolt is fastened to the inner bolt by sandwiching the bus bar 32 of the MG connector 30 between the outer bolt and the inner bolt.

Next, the shape of each part shown in FIG. 1 will be described. 3 to 7 show specific shape examples of the respective parts shown in FIG.

図3は、IPM(インテリジェントパワーモジュール)10を示す図である。 FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an IPM (intelligent power module) 10. FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the IPM 10 viewed from the screw hole side into which the inner bolt of the double bolt is inserted. In FIG. 3, the IPM 10 is provided with six screw holes, and the bus bar 16 extends to an opening portion of each screw hole. That is, six bus bars 16 corresponding to the six screw holes are provided.

Each bus bar 16 corresponds to each phase of three-phase AC power. That is, the three bus bars 16 correspond to the U phase, the V phase, and the W phase. The IPM 10 shown in FIG. 3 has a function of controlling two motor generators, and includes only two sets of three bus bars 16 corresponding to the UVW phase. One inner bolt is inserted into each screw hole provided with the bus bar 16.

FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the IPM 10 to which the MG connector 30 is attached. That is, FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of a state where two MG connectors 30a and 30b are attached to the IPM 10 shown in FIG. Since the IPM 10 has a function of controlling two motor generators, two MG connectors 30a and 30b corresponding to the two motor generators are attached. A current sensor 40 is attached between the two MG connectors 30a and 30b and the IPM 10.

FIG. 5 shows two MG connectors 30a and 30b. The MG connector 30a corresponds to one motor generator, and includes three bus bars 32 corresponding to the UVW phase. Then, one outer bolt is inserted so as to penetrate the hole provided in each bus bar 32. In addition, three connection terminals 34 corresponding to the three bus bars 32 are provided. The MG connector 30b has the same structure as the MG connector 30a.

FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating the current sensor 40, FIG. 6A is a perspective view of the current sensor 40, and FIG. 6B is a front view of the current sensor 40. The current sensor 40 is provided with six through holes 41. One through hole 41 corresponds to one screw hole (see FIG. 3) of the IPM 10, and one inner bolt is inserted into one through hole 41. FIG. 6B shows a protrusion 42 provided in the through hole 41. The protrusion 42 is fitted in a groove formed in the inner bolt. A signal indicating the measurement result of the current in the current sensor 40, that is, the measurement result of the current flowing in the double volt, is output to the IPM 10, for example, via the plurality of pins 44.

FIG. 7 is a view showing the inner bolt 22 and the outer bolt 24 constituting the double bolt. FIG. 7 shows three inner bolts 22 and three outer bolts 24. Each inner bolt 22 is provided with a groove 23, and a protrusion 42 (see FIG. 6) of the current sensor 40 is fitted into the groove 23. Further, one outer bolt 24 is inserted into a screw hole H provided in each inner bolt 22 and tightened.
