Abstract
【解決手段】製造装置1は、一端側から順に、パリソンPを形成するパリソン形成ステーションS1と、内蔵部品2を備えたセンター型3の両側をパリソンPを挟んで一対の成形型4で閉じ、成形型4に転写したパリソンPに内蔵部品2を取り付ける内蔵部品取付ステーションS2と、成形型4を閉じて中空成形品を成形する成形ステーションS3と、成形型4から中空成形品を取り出し搬送する搬送ステーションS4と、が並設され、センター型3が内蔵部品取付ステーションS2において固定して設けられ、成形型4が内蔵部品取付ステーションS2と成形ステーションS3との間で往復動可能に設けられる。

Description
パリソン形成ステーションS1にはパリソン押出し装置5が設けられる。パリソン押出し装置5から押し出されるパリソンPは、最終的にセンター型3と左右の成形型4との間に供されるようにそれぞれ略平板状を呈する一対のパリソンP(図2参照)として形成される。パリソン押出し装置5としては、例えば、溶融樹脂を中央のマンドレルと外側のダイとの間に形成される環状の樹脂通路からパリソンPを円筒状に押し出す汎用構造のものを用いることができる。この場合には、パリソン押出し装置5の直下にカッターを設けるなどして円筒状に垂下してくるパリソンPを中央で分断し、平断面半円状となった各切片をローラ等を用いてそれぞれ略平板状にならして垂下形成させるなどの措置がとられる。環状の樹脂通路ではなく、一対の直線状の樹脂通路を有して、各樹脂通路からパリソンPを初めから平板状に押し出す構造のパリソン押出し装置5を用いてもよい。
内蔵部品取付ステーションS2にはセンター型3が設けられている。このセンター型3は固定式である。センター型3は、図2に示すように左右に合わせ面3Aが形成されており、中空の内部にはパリソンPに内蔵部品2を取り付けるアクチュエータとしてのシリンダ6が備えられる。図2では、両側のパリソンPのそれぞれに内蔵部品2を取り付ける例を示している。シリンダ6のロッドの先端にはクランプ機構7が備えられ、このクランプ機構7により内蔵部品2がシリンダ6のロッドに保持される。クランプ機構7の詳細な説明は本発明の趣旨から外れるので省略する。
図1において、成形ステーションS3は成形型4を閉じて中空成形品Wを成形するエリアである。成形型4は、敷設されたガイドレール(図示せず)に沿って内蔵部品取付ステーションS2と成形ステーションS3との間を直線状に往復動可能に設けられる。符号12は前記図示しないガイドレールに沿って移動する基台を、符号13は成形型4を支持する架材を示す。
搬送ステーションS4には、成形型4から中空成形品Wを取り出し搬送する成形品搬送手段14が備えられる。成形品搬送手段14は、例えば、成形型4よりも上方の位置において成形ステーションS3と搬送ステーションS4とに掛けて架設された直線状のガイドレール15と、このガイドレール15を走行する成形品搬送装置16とを備える。成形品搬送装置16は、図2(g)に示すように成形型4からはみ出たピンチオフ部の上部を把持する把持機構17を備える。
「パリソン搬入工程」
図3(a)において、パリソン押出し装置5から中空成形品Wの成形に要する分量のパリソンPが押し出された状態で、パリソン搬送装置10は把持機構11を介してパリソンPを把持し、内蔵部品2を備えたセンター型3の両側まで一方向(Q方向)に搬入する(図3(b)の状態)。成形型4もパリソンPの搬入と同時に若しくは前後してセンター型3の両側に位置している。
図2を参照して説明すると、前記パリソン搬入工程によって図2(a)に示すようにパリソンPがセンター型3の両側まで搬入されると、図2(b)に示すように左右の成形型4がパリソンPを間に挟んでセンター型3を両側から閉じる。成形型4の合わせ面4Aとセンター型3の合わせ面3AとによりパリソンPの縁部全周を挟むことにより、成形型4の成形面とパリソンPとで囲まれた空間が密閉されることとなり、この状態で成形型4の成形面側から真空引きしてブローすることにより、図2(c)に示すようにパリソンPが成形型4の成形面に転写される。次いで図2(d)に示すように、シリンダ6のロッドが所定長さだけ前進し、内蔵部品2の基端がパリソンPに押し付けられて所定の深さだけ埋設されることにより、パリソンPに対する内蔵部品2の取り付けがなされる。内蔵部品2の取り付け後、クランプ機構7のクランプが外れて図2(e)に示すようにシリンダ6のロッドが縮退する。
内蔵部品2の取り付け後、成形型4は図2(f)に示すように左右に開いたうえで、図3(c)に示すように成形ステーションS3(所定位置)まで前記一方向、すなわちQ方向に移動する。
次いで、成形ステーションS3において図2(g)に示すように成形型4が閉じて内部にエアがブローされることによりパリソンPが中空成形品Wとして成形される。
前記成形工程で成形型4が閉じた状態において、成形品搬送装置16は把持機構17を介して成形型4からはみ出たピンチオフ部の上部を把持している。したがって、成形型4が左右に開くことにより離型した中空成形品Wは、図3(d)に示すようにそのまま把持機構17に把持された状態で前記一方向、すなわちQ方向に搬送されて次工程へと送られる。成形型4は再びセンター型3の両側まで移動する。
すなわち、センター型3を往復動可能、成形型4を固定としたとき、内蔵部品2をパリソンPに取り付けた後にセンター型3を成形型4から退避移動させるにあたっては、搬送ステーションS4側に退避させると中空成形品Wの搬送スペースと干渉することから、パリソン形成ステーションS1側に退避させざるを得ない。そして、センター型3をパリソン形成ステーションS1まで退避させるとパリソンPの押出し工程と内蔵部品2の装填工程の併行ができなくなるので、パリソン形成ステーションS1と成形型4との間にセンター型3を退避させることとなる。つまり、パリソン形成ステーションS1と成形型4との間にセンター型3の退避スペースを要するレイアウトとなるので、パリソン形成ステーションS1から成形型4までのパリソンPの搬入経路はセンター型3の退避スペースを跨いだ長い経路となる。
これに対して本発明は、図3(a)、(b)から明らかなように、パリソンPの搬入経路がパリソン形成ステーションS1からこれに隣設する内蔵部品取付ステーションS2までの短い経路で済むことになる。パリソンPはその温度管理の点から外気に触れる時間が短いほどよく、本発明によればパリソンPの温度管理やその解析が行いやすくなる。

Claims (3)
- 一端側から順に、
パリソンを形成するパリソン形成ステーションと、
内蔵部品を備えたセンター型の両側をパリソンを挟んで一対の成形型で閉じ、該成形型に転写したパリソンに前記内蔵部品を取り付ける内蔵部品取付ステーションと、
前記成形型を閉じて中空成形品を成形する成形ステーションと、
前記成形型から前記中空成形品を取り出し搬送する搬送ステーションと、
が並設され、
前記センター型が前記内蔵部品取付ステーションにおいて固定して設けられ、
前記成形型が前記内蔵部品取付ステーションと前記成形ステーションとの間で往復動可能に設けられることを特徴とする中空成形品の製造装置。 - 前記パリソン形成ステーションと前記内蔵部品取付ステーションとの間で往復動可能に設けられ、前記パリソン形成ステーションで形成されたパリソンを把持して前記センター型の両側まで搬入するパリソン搬入手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中空成形品の製造装置。
- パリソンを、内蔵部品を備えたセンター型の両側まで一方向に搬入するパリソン搬入工程と、
前記センター型を前記パリソンを挟んで一対の成形型で閉じ、該成形型に転写したパリソンに前記内蔵部品を取り付ける内蔵部品取付工程と、
前記内蔵部品の取り付け後、前記成形型を所定位置まで前記一方向に移動させる成形型移動工程と、
前記所定位置において前記成形型を閉じて中空成形品を成形する成形工程と、
前記成形型から取り出した前記中空成形品を前記一方向に搬送する搬送工程と、
を有することを特徴とする中空成形品の製造方法。
