Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- − 低クロム含有鋼コアを提供するステップと;
− 5族金属を含む5族金属源、ハロゲン化物触媒およびフェロモリブデンおよびフェロチタンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む粉末を含む微粒子ミックスを形成するステップであって、前記5族金属が41以下の原子番号を有するステップと;
− 化学被着プロセスを介して前記鋼コアの少なくとも1つの表面上に前記微粒子ミックスを含む炭化物コーティングを形成するステップと;
を含む方法。 - 前記5族金属源がフェロバナジウムを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記微粒子ミックス中の前記粉末と前記5族金属の重量比が約0.02〜0.04である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- コーティングを形成するステップが、
− 前記微粒子ミックスおよび前記鋼コアを密閉コンテナに導入するステップと;
− 摂氏約870度〜1093度の温度まで前記密閉コンテナを加熱するステップと;
− 前記密閉コンテナ内部で既定の時間前記微粒子ミックスと前記鋼コアを接触させて、前記鋼コアの前記表面上に炭化物コーティングを所望の厚みで形成するステップと;
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記微粒子ミックスが、フェロモリブデンおよびフェロチタンの混合物を含み、前記微粒子ミックス中の前記混合物とフェロバナジウムの前記重量比が約0.02〜0.04の間である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記低クロム含有鋼コアの前記クロム含有量が約1.6重量パーセントを上回らない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- − 前記炭化物コーティングを含む前記鋼コアを冷却するステップと;
− 前記微粒子ミックスから前記炭化物コーティングを含む前記鋼コアを分離するステップと;
− 前記炭化物コーティングを含む前記鋼コアを少なくともそのオーステナイト化温度まで加熱するステップと;
− 前記炭化物コーティングを含む前記鋼コアを焼き入れし、これにより前記物品がRc44〜56のコア硬度と少なくともHV2000の表面硬度を与えるようにするステップと;
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 低クロム含有鋼物品の表面上に硬質コーティングを形成するために使用される微粒子ミックスであって、
− 41以下の原子番号を有する5族金属を有する5族金属源と;
− ハロゲン化物触媒と;
− フェロモリブデンおよびフェロチタンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む粉末と、
を含む微粒子ミックス。 - 前記微粒子ミックス中の前記5族金属源に対する前記粉末の前記重量比が約0.02〜0.04である、請求項8に記載の微粒子ミックス。
- 前記ハロゲン化物触媒が、前記5族金属源の約0.6〜3.0重量パーセントを構成する、請求項8に記載の微粒子ミックス。
- 前記5族金属源がフェロバナジウムを含む、請求項8に記載の微粒子ミックス。
- 前記ハロゲン化物触媒が塩化鉄、塩化アンモニウム、塩化ニオブ、塩化バナジウムおよびその混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項8に記載の微粒子ミックス。
- − 低クロム含有鋼コアと;
− 前記低クロム含有鋼コアに結合された炭化物コーティングであって、5族金属を含む5族金属源、ハロゲン化物触媒およびフェロモリブデンとフェロチタンの少なくとも1つを含む粉末を含む微粒子ミックスから形成される炭化物コーティングと;
を含む鋼物品であって、
前記5族金属が41以下の原子番号を有する、鋼物品。 - 前記低クロム含有鋼コアの前記クロム含有量が前記低クロム含有鋼コアの約1.6重量パーセントを上回らない、請求項13に記載の鋼物品。
- 前記微粒子ミックス中の前記5族金属に対する前記粉末の前記重量比が、約0.02〜0.04である、請求項13に記載の鋼物品。
