Description

TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a baking repair method for a resin bumper painted surface and a protective tape for baking repair used for carrying out the repair method.

As one of vehicle manufacturing processes, there is a skin coating process for coating the surface of a resin bumper attached to a vehicle. In this skin coating process, since the painted surface may be wrinkled during the work, repair work, such as migaki and baking, is carried out to repair defective coating products having wrinkles on the painted surface.

In this repair work, the heel portion on the painted surface is polished with sandpaper, and then spray coating is performed, and the surface of the heel portion is heated by blowing hot air with a dryer, and the paint is baked to repair. .

By the way, as the resin bumper, for example, a resin-coated surface that has been painted to have a gloss and an unpainted surface that has not been painted and does not have a gloss (also referred to as a matte portion or a textured portion) are made of resin, for example. An improved design has been developed by placing the bumper adjacent to the top and bottom in the vertical direction.

However, in such a resin bumper, the hot air from the dryer may hit not only the painted surface but also the unpainted surface during baking after spray painting for repair work. There was a problem that the surface was partially melted by heat and gloss was generated. In order to suppress the occurrence of gloss on such an unpainted surface, measures such as applying a masking tape to the unpainted surface have been taken, and a masking material for painting (see Patent Document 1) has also been proposed, Since an unpainted surface covered with a masking tape or a masking material for coating is likely to heat up, there is a possibility that the unpainted surface is partially melted by heat and gloss is generated.

An object of the present invention is a method for repairing the baking of a resin bumper painted surface that can eliminate the problem that heat is trapped on the unpainted surface, and the unpainted surface is partially melted by the heat to cause gloss. And to provide a protective tape for baking repair.

A method for baking and repairing a resin bumper painted surface according to an aspect of the present invention is a method for baking and repairing a resin bumper painted surface that repairs a defective portion in a resin bumper having a painted surface and an unpainted surface adjacent to each other by baking. A masking tape is affixed to the unpainted surface along a boundary line between the painted surface and the unpainted surface, and one end of a metal tape that reflects heat at the time of baking is fixed to the masking tape, The baking is performed with the other end separated from the unpainted surface.

In this case, the metal tape is preferably an aluminum tape.

In addition, the protective tape for repairing baking according to another aspect of the present invention includes repairing a defective portion of a painted surface adjacent to an unpainted surface in a resin bumper having a painted surface and an unpainted surface by touch-up baking. A protective tape for repairing baking used for masking, a masking tape applied to the unpainted surface along a boundary line between the painted surface and the unpainted surface, and an end of the masking tape on the painted surface side And a metal tape that has one end fixed to the part and the other end separated from the unpainted surface, and reflects the heating at the time of touch-up baking.

In this case, the metal tape is preferably an aluminum tape.

According to the present invention, a method for baking and repairing a resin bumper painted surface that can solve the problem that heat is trapped on the unpainted surface, and the unpainted surface is partially melted by the heat and gloss is generated. It is possible to provide a protective tape for repairing baking.

It is a perspective view which shows an example of the resin bumper for vehicles to which this invention is applied. It is a figure explaining the usage method of the protective tape for baking repair which concerns on embodiment of this invention. It is a graph which shows each temperature change in the case of the case of no masking, the case of the conventional method of only a masking tape, and the case of this embodiment. It is a graph which shows the temperature change of the coating-film surface and embossed surface by the distance of an aluminum tape and a bumper. It is a figure which shows the protective tape for baking repair which concerns on other embodiment of this invention.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, as a bumper of a vehicle (automobile) 1, there is a resin bumper 4 having a painted surface (also referred to as an already painted surface) 2 and an unpainted surface (also referred to as an unpainted surface) 3 adjacent to each other. . In the illustrated example, the resin bumper 4 has an upper half in the top-bottom width direction as a coated surface 2 on which a top coat is applied, and a lower half on an unpainted surface 3 on which no top coat is applied. The painted surface 2 is glossy, and the unpainted surface 3 is a so-called textured surface that does not have gloss. A groove portion 5 having a V-shaped cross section is formed at a boundary portion between the painted surface 2 and the unpainted surface 3, and a center line of the groove portion 5 becomes a boundary line 11 between the painted surface 2 and the unpainted surface 3. Yes.

The method of baking and repairing the resin bumper painted surface 2 that repairs a defective portion of the painted surface 2 near the unpainted surface 3 in the resin bumper 4 by touch-up baking is the boundary line between the painted surface 2 and the unpainted surface 3. 11, a masking tape 6 made of heat-resistant tape is applied to the unpainted surface 3, and one end 7 a of the metal tape 7 that reflects the heating at the time of touch-up baking is fixed to the end 6 a of the masking tape 6 on the painted surface 2 side. Then, touch-up baking is performed with the other end 7 b of the metal tape 7 being separated from the unpainted surface 3.

In the touch-up baking, the ridge portion 9 on the painted surface 2 is polished and then spray-painted, and the surface of the ridge portion 9 is heated by spraying warm air with a dryer 10 to paint the surface of the ridge portion 9. Is repaired by baking.

The masking tape 6 is made of a paper tape, and an adhesive material is applied to the back surface. As the masking tape 6, a heat-resistant tape for paint masking can be used. The masking tape 6 is stuck on the unpainted surface 3 along the boundary line 11 of the groove 5. In this case, the masking tape 6 includes a predetermined range of the lower inclined surface 5b and the unpainted surface 3 of the upper inclined surface 5a and the lower inclined surface 5b forming the groove portion 5, and a part of the lower end side of the upper inclined surface 5a. The vertical width covers 3a, and the horizontal width covers a predetermined range in the left-right direction.

As the metal tape 7, for example, a commercially available aluminum tape can be used. The vertical width of the metal tape 7 is larger than the vertical width of the masking tape 6 (about twice in the illustrated example), and the horizontal width of the metal tape 7 is the same as the horizontal width of the masking tape 6 or the horizontal width of the masking tape 6 It is said that it is bigger than. One end 7a of the metal tape 7 is fixed to the end of the masking tape 6 on the painted surface 2 side by an adhesive, an adhesive, an adhesive tape, or other fixing means.

The other end 7 b of the metal tape 7 is a free end separated by an appropriate distance d from the unpainted surface 3, thereby forming a heat insulating space 8 by air between the unpainted surface 3 and the metal tape 7. Has been. Since the metal tape 7 has a predetermined rigidity, when the one end 7a is supported along the lower inclined surface 5b of the groove 5, the other end 7b on the free end side is also substantially the same as the lower inclined surface 5b. It extends obliquely downward while maintaining the same inclined state. Thereby, a predetermined heat insulating space 8 is formed between the unpainted surface 3 and the other end 7 b of the metal tape 7.

According to the baking repair method for the resin bumper painted surface having the above-described configuration, the defective portion of the painted surface 2 adjacent to the unpainted surface 3 in the resin bumper 4 having the painted surface 2 and the unpainted surface 3 adjacent to each other is touched. A method for baking and repairing a resin bumper painted surface that is repaired by up-baking. The masking tape 6 is applied to the unpainted surface 3 along the boundary line 11 between the painted surface 2 and the unpainted surface 3, and the masking tape 6 is coated. One end 7a of the metal tape 7 that reflects the heating at the time of touch-up baking, that is, the heating by the warm air from the dryer 10, is fixed to the end on the surface 2 side, and the other end 7b of the metal tape 7 is separated from the unpainted surface 3 Touch-up baking is performed as if it is in a state. As a result, heat is not trapped on the unpainted surface 3, and it is possible to solve the problem that the unpainted surface 3 is melted by the heat and gloss is generated.

That is, heat at the time of baking is dissipated to the parting line side of the masking tape 6, and one end is wrapped in the vertical width direction of the masking tape 6 so that the metal tape 7 is attached, and the other end 7b of the metal tape 7 is masked. The free end is separated from the tape 6. Therefore, the heat of the unpainted surface 3 of the resin bumper 4 is prevented by heat insulation by the metal tape 7, heat radiation from both the front and back surfaces of the metal tape 7, and heat insulation by sandwiching an air layer between the metal tape 7 and the masking tape 6. Therefore, it is possible to suppress or prevent the occurrence of gloss on the surface of the unpainted surface 3 due to heat melting.

Moreover, since the heat radiation part of the front and back both surfaces of the metal tape 7 can change the distance d between the resin bumpers 4 arbitrarily by holding the other end 7b of the metal tape 7 and changing its position, The temperature of the unpainted surface 3 of the resin bumper 4 can be easily adjusted.

FIG. 3 is a graph showing temperature changes in the case of no masking, in the case of the conventional method using only the masking tape, and in the case of this embodiment. As is clear from this graph, in this embodiment, there is no masking. In comparison with the conventional method using the masking tape or the masking tape, the temperature rise is gentle, and the temperature after heating for a long time is kept at about 80 ° C. Accordingly, it is possible to eliminate the heat haze on the unpainted surface 3 of the resin bumper 4 and to suppress or prevent the occurrence of gloss on the surface of the unpainted surface 3 due to thermal melting.

FIG. 4 is a graph showing the temperature change of the painted surface and the unpainted surface depending on the distance d between the aluminum tape and the bumper. As is apparent from this graph, the distance d between the metal tape 7 and the resin bumper 4 is about 10 mm. Although the heat insulation effect tends to increase depending on the distance, if it exceeds 10 mm, the heat insulation effect reaches its peak, and the temperature of the heat insulation surface after heating is stable at around 50 ° C. From the above, by adjusting the distance d between the metal tape 7 and the resin bumper 4 within 10 mm, it becomes possible to perform delicate temperature adjustment of the heat insulating surface.

The masking tape 6 and the metal tape 7 described above may be integrally formed in advance as a protective cover 12 for baking repair as shown in FIG. In this case, as shown in FIG. 2 or FIG. 5, the protective tape 12 for repairing the baking is formed on the painted surface 2 adjacent to the unpainted surface 3 in the resin bumper 4 having the painted surface 2 and the unpainted surface 3 adjacent to each other. It is a protective tape for baking repair used when the heel part 9 is repaired by touch-up baking. The protective tape 12 for repairing baking is composed of a masking tape 6 attached to the unpainted surface 3 along a boundary line 11 between the painted surface 2 and the unpainted surface 3, and an end 6a of the masking tape 6 on the painted surface 2 side. One end 7a is fixed to the other end, and the other end 7b is separated from the unpainted surface 3 and includes a metal tape 7 that reflects the heating during the touch-up baking. The masking tape 6 is preferably provided with an adhesive surface 13, and the adhesive surface 13 is preferably provided with a seal 14 covering the adhesive surface 13 so as to be peeled off.

According to the protective tape 12 for baking repair formed in this way, a defective portion of the painted surface 2 adjacent to the unpainted surface 3 in the resin bumper 4 having the painted surface 2 and the unpainted surface 3 adjacent to each other is touched up. When repairing by baking, it is only necessary to peel off the seal 14 from the adhesive surface 13 of the masking tape 6 in the protective tape 12 for baking repair and attach the masking tape 6 to the unpainted surface 3 of the resin bumper 4 via the adhesive surface 13. Well, it becomes possible to quickly and easily carry out the baking repair method for the resin bumper painted surface.

The metal tape 7 is preferably an aluminum tape, but may be a metal tape other than an aluminum tape, such as a copper tape.
