Abstract
Description
カテーテルなどの体内プローブは、様々な治療的及び診断的医療的手順において使用される。このプローブは、患者の生体に挿入され、体腔内の標的領域へと進められて医療的手順が行われる。一部の磁場に基づく位置追跡システムでは、外部磁場が患者の身体に適用される。カテーテルの遠位端付近に設置された位置センサは、電気信号を生成することによって磁場に応答する。この追跡システムは、信号を使用して患者の身体に対するカテーテルの位置及び向きを特定する。この磁場は、通常、位置特定パッドを形成するよう、複数の磁場発生器、たとえば、表面に固定されている磁場発生コイルによって生成される。
図1は、本発明の実施形態による、医療的手順に適用される、X線透視画像化システム22及び磁気位置追跡システム20の概略描写図である。
(1) 位置特定パッドであって、
患者の身体の対象領域における医療器具の位置を測定するために、前記対象領域に個々の磁場を発生させるよう構成されている複数の磁場発生器と、
前記対象領域を取り囲む個々の位置に前記複数の磁場発生器を固定するよう構成されており、かつ前記対象領域の少なくとも1つの側で開いている、フレームと
を備えた、位置特定パッド。
(2) 前記フレームが、前記対象領域を取り囲む矩形の個々の隅に、前記磁場発生器を固定するよう構成されている、実施態様1に記載の位置特定パッド。
(3) 前記患者が、テーブルの上に位置しており、前記位置特定パッドが、前記患者と前記テーブルとの間に位置するよう構成されている、実施態様1に記載の位置特定パッド。
(4) 前記磁場発生器の少なくとも1つが、複数の非同心コイルを備えた、実施態様1に記載の位置特定パッド。
(5) 位置特定パッドを製造する方法であって、
患者の身体の対象領域における医療器具の位置を測定するために、前記対象領域に個々の磁場を発生させるよう構成されている複数の磁場発生器を用意することと、
フレーム上の、前記対象領域を取り囲む個々の位置に前記複数の磁場発生器を固定することであって、前記フレームが前記対象領域の少なくとも1つの側で開いている、ことと
を含む、方法。
(7) 1つの平面に前記非同心コイルの少なくとも2つを並べて配置することを含む、実施態様6に記載の方法。
(8) 方法であって、
患者の対象領域に対して位置特定パッドを位置決めすることであって、この位置特定パッドが、前記対象領域を取り囲む個々の位置に複数の磁場発生器を固定するフレームを備え、このフレームが、前記対象領域の少なくとも1つの側で開いている、ことと、
前記対象領域に医療器具を挿入することと、
前記磁場発生器を使用して、前記医療器具の位置を追跡することと、
前記位置を追跡するのと同時に、X線透視画像化システムを用いて前記対象領域に照射し、前記対象領域の画像を作成することと
を含む、方法。
(9) 前記位置特定パッドの位置決めが、前記位置特定パッドの開いた側を、前記X線透視画像化システムに直面するよう位置決めすることを含む、実施態様8に記載の方法。
(10) 前記位置特定パッドの位置決めが、前記患者と前記患者が横たわるテーブルとの間に前記位置特定パッドを置くことを含む、実施態様8に記載の方法。
Claims (11)
- 位置特定パッドであって、
患者の身体の対象領域における医療器具の位置を測定するために、前記対象領域に個々の磁場を発生させるよう構成されている複数の磁場発生器と、
前記対象領域を取り囲む個々の位置に前記複数の磁場発生器を固定するよう構成されており、かつ前記対象領域の少なくとも1つの側で開いている、フレームと
を備えた、位置特定パッド。 - 前記フレームが、前記対象領域を取り囲む矩形の個々の隅に、前記磁場発生器を固定するよう構成されている、請求項1に記載の位置特定パッド。
- 前記患者が、テーブルの上に位置しており、前記位置特定パッドが、前記患者と前記テーブルとの間に位置するよう構成されている、請求項1に記載の位置特定パッド。
- 前記磁場発生器の少なくとも1つが、複数の非同心コイルを備えた、請求項1に記載の位置特定パッド。
- 位置特定パッドを製造する方法であって、
患者の身体の対象領域における医療器具の位置を測定するために、前記対象領域に個々の磁場を発生させるよう構成されている複数の磁場発生器を用意することと、
フレーム上の、前記対象領域を取り囲む個々の位置に前記複数の磁場発生器を固定することであって、前記フレームが前記対象領域の少なくとも1つの側で開いている、ことと
を含む、方法。 - 前記磁場発生器の少なくとも1つが、複数の非同心コイルを備えた、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 1つの平面に前記非同心コイルの少なくとも2つを並べて配置することを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 方法であって、
患者の対象領域に対して位置特定パッドを位置決めすることであって、この位置特定パッドが、前記対象領域を取り囲む個々の位置に複数の磁場発生器を固定するフレームを備え、このフレームが、前記対象領域の少なくとも1つの側で開いている、ことと、
前記対象領域に医療器具を挿入することと、
前記磁場発生器を使用して、前記医療器具の位置を追跡することと、
前記位置を追跡するのと同時に、X線透視画像化システムを用いて前記対象領域に照射し、前記対象領域の画像を作成することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記位置特定パッドの位置決めが、前記位置特定パッドの開いた側を、前記X線透視画像化システムに直面するよう位置決めすることを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記位置特定パッドの位置決めが、前記患者と前記患者が横たわるテーブルとの間に前記位置特定パッドを置くことを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記位置の追跡が、前記磁場発生器を使用して磁場を生成すること、及び生成した前記磁場に磁気位置追跡を適用することにより前記位置を追跡することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
