Claims (11)
- 断面円形の外周面を有する棒状ワークをその軸線方向に沿って所定速度で搬送する搬送装置と、搬送中の前記棒状ワークを焼入温度に誘導加熱するための加熱コイルを有する加熱装置と、を備えた熱処理設備であって、
前記加熱コイルは、軸線方向に沿って直列に連結された第1加熱部および第2加熱部を有し、単一の高周波電源と電気的に接続されており、
相対的に前記棒状ワークの搬送方向前方側に配置された前記第2加熱部のコイルピッチが、相対的に前記棒状ワークの搬送方向後方側に配置された前記第1加熱部のコイルピッチよりも大きいことを特徴とする熱処理設備。 - 前記第2加熱部が前記第1加熱部よりも軸線方向寸法が長寸である請求項1に記載の熱処理設備。
- 前記第1加熱部と前記第2加熱部とが分離可能に連結されている請求項1又は2に記載の熱処理設備。
- 前記搬送装置は、相互に離間して軸線方向に平行に延び、相手側と協働して前記棒状ワークの外周面を接触支持する第1軸部材および第2軸部材と、両軸部材をその軸線回りに同方向に回転させる回転機構とを備え、
前記第1軸部材および前記第2軸部材の少なくとも一方が、その外周に沿って延びた螺旋状の凸部を有し、該凸部によって画成される螺旋状溝の溝底面に前記棒状ワークの外周面が接触する請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の熱処理設備。 - 前記第1軸部材および前記第2軸部材の一方が前記凸部を有するねじ軸からなり、他方が径一定の円柱軸からなる請求項4に記載の熱処理設備。
- 前記加熱装置で前記焼入温度に加熱された前記棒状ワークを冷却する冷却装置をさらに有する請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の熱処理設備。
- 前記棒状ワークが、炭素含有量0.8質量%以上の鋼材からなる請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の熱処理設備。
- 前記棒状ワークが、ころ軸受用のころである請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の熱処理設備。
- 断面円形の外周面を有する棒状ワークを、その軸線方向に沿って所定速度で搬送しながら通電状態の加熱コイルの対向領域を通過させることにより、前記棒状ワークを焼入温度に誘導加熱する加熱工程を有する熱処理方法であって、
前記加熱工程では、単一の高周波電源と電気的に接続された前記加熱コイルであって、軸線方向に沿って直列に連結された第1加熱部および第2加熱部を有し、相対的に前記棒状ワークの搬送方向前方側に配置された前記第2加熱部のコイルピッチが、相対的に前記棒状ワークの搬送方向後方側に配置された前記第1加熱部のコイルピッチよりも大きい前記加熱コイルを使用することを特徴とする熱処理方法。 - 前記加熱工程では、前記棒状ワークをその軸線回りに回転させながら搬送する請求項9に記載の熱処理方法。
- 前記加熱工程では、複数の前記棒状ワークを、軸線方向に相互に離間した状態で搬送する請求項9又は10に記載の熱処理方法。
