Claims (21)
- 第1の可撓性長尺状部材と、
前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の遠位部に配置された検出要素と、
第2の可撓性長尺状部材であって、前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材が前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材から遠位に延びるように前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材に結合された第2の可撓性長尺状部材と、
を含み、
前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の遠位部が少なくとも2つの平坦部分を含み、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材とが、前記少なくとも2つの平坦部分のうちの1つの一部に沿って結合されている、
センシングガイドワイヤ。 - 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材が第1のコアワイヤを含む、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材がシェーピングリボンを含む、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材が第2のコアワイヤを含む、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材とが、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の最遠位平坦部分において結合されている、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材とが、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記少なくとも2つの平坦部分の1つより多くに沿って結合されている、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材が、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記少なくとも2つの平坦部分と位置合わせされた少なくとも2つの平坦部分を含む、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記少なくとも2つの平坦部分の断面プロファイルが異なる形状である、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記最遠位平坦部分の寸法が他の平坦部分の寸法と異なる、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記検出要素が圧力センサ及びフローセンサの少なくとも1つである、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- センシングガイドワイヤを形成する方法であって、
第1の可撓性長尺状部材を得ることと、
少なくとも2つの平坦部分を含むように前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の遠位部を成形することと、
第2の可撓性長尺状部材を得ることと、
前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材が前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材から遠位に延びるように、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記少なくとも2つの平坦部分のうちの1つの一部に沿って前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材とを結合することと、
検出要素を前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材に結合することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記遠位部を成形することが、前記少なくとも2つの平坦部分を、最遠位平坦部分の寸法が他の平坦部分の寸法と異なるように形成するために、前記遠位部をプレスすること、研削すること、切除すること及び切削することの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材の長さ全体に沿って平坦領域を含むように前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材を成形することを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材とを結合することが、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記少なくとも2つの平坦部分の1つと、前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材の前記平坦領域との間に半田を導入することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材がコアワイヤを含み、前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材がシェーピングリボンを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- センシングガイドワイヤを形成する方法であって、
第1の可撓性長尺状部材を得ることと、
第2の可撓性長尺状部材を得ることと、
前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材が前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材から遠位に延びるように、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の遠位部において前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材とを結合することと、
少なくとも2つの平坦部分を含むように前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記遠位部を成形することと、
検出要素を前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材に結合することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材とを結合することが、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材との間に半田を導入することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材を成形することと同時に、少なくとも2つの平坦部分を含むように前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材を成形することを更に含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記遠位部を成形すること、及び前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材を成形することが、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記遠位部及び前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材をプレスし、前記各々の少なくとも2つの平坦部分が位置合わせされるように前記各々の少なくとも2つの平坦部分を形成することを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記遠位部及び前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材をプレスするのと同時に、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材との間に更なる半田を導入すること、及び
前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材の前記遠位部及び前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材をプレスしている間に前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材と前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材とを結合する前記半田が熔解されるように、前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材及び前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材を加熱すること、
の少なくとも1つを更に含む、請求項19に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の可撓性長尺状部材が第1のコアワイヤを含み、前記第2の可撓性長尺状部材が第2のコアワイヤを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
