Claims (24)
- 製氷装置用の蒸発器アセンブリであって、
垂直かつ平坦な凍結面と、
冷媒回路と、
前記凍結面と前記冷媒回路との間に熱的に結合され、複数の領域から形成される凍結鋳型であって、前記複数の領域は、平面に配列され、前記複数の領域のそれぞれより小さい寸法を有するストリップのそれぞれによって前記平面内において相互接続される凍結鋳型と、
を備え、
前記凍結鋳型と前記凍結面とが接触する位置は、前記凍結面における氷形成区域を画定する、
蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記複数の領域は、行および列に配置され、前記複数の領域のそれぞれは、少なくとも二方向において隣り合う領域と相互接続される、
請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記冷媒回路の水平方向の屈曲部は、前記複数の領域のそれぞれの行と位置合わせするよう配置される、
請求項2に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記冷媒回路は、蛇行回路である、請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。
- 前記冷媒回路は、管を有し、前記管のそれぞれの中には複数のマイクロチャネルが形成されている、
請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記領域は、正方形である、請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。
- 前記領域は、正方形、円形、楕円形、台形、および、不規則な形状からなる形状群から選ばれる1つ以上の形状を有する、
請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記凍結面は、前記凍結鋳型の材料より低い熱伝導率を有する材料から形成される、
請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記凍結面は、ステンレス鋼から形成される、請求項8に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。
- 前記凍結面は、剛性である、請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。
- 前記凍結鋳型は、前記凍結面および前記冷媒回路のそれぞれに接合されることにより、前記冷媒回路と、前記凍結鋳型と、前記凍結面との間の熱伝達を容易にする、
請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記凍結鋳型は、ハンダ、ろう付け用合金、エポキシ、接着剤、および、熱伝導性両面テープからなる群から選ばれる1つ以上の接合材料を用いて接合される、
請求項11に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記凍結鋳型は、前記凍結面に機械的に接合される、請求項11に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。
- 前記凍結鋳型は、隣接する領域の間に配置された絶縁領域をさらに備える、
請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記絶縁領域は、空隙である、請求項14に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。
- 垂直かつ平坦な第2の凍結面と、
前記第2の凍結面と前記冷媒回路との間に熱的に結合されることにより、熱伝導をもたらす第2の凍結鋳型と、
をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記凍結面は、それらの外周付近で共に密封される、請求項16に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。

前記凍結面と、前記冷媒回路との間に熱的に結合され、水平のストリップから形成される凍結鋳型であって、前記水平のストリップは、平面に配列され、前記水平のストリップのそれぞれは、前記垂直の仕切りとそれぞれ位置合わせされる複数のリブを有する凍結鋳型と、
を備え、
前記凍結鋳型と前記凍結面とが接触する位置は、前記凍結面における氷形成区域を画定する、
蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 流体流路を形成する垂直の仕切りを有する垂直な第2の凍結面と、
前記第2の凍結面と前記冷媒回路との間に熱的に結合されることにより、熱伝導をもたらす第2の凍結鋳型と、
をさらに備える請求項19に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。 - 前記凍結面は、それらの外周付近で共に密封される、請求項20に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。
- 前記冷媒回路は、蛇行回路である、請求項19に記載の蒸発器アセンブリ。

圧縮された冷媒に前記冷媒回路を通過させることによって収穫サイクルを実行することと、
を含み、
前記凍結面と前記冷媒回路との間には凍結鋳型が熱的に結合され、前記凍結鋳型は、平面に配列された複数の領域によって形成され、前記凍結鋳型と前記凍結面とが接触する位置は、前記凍結面における氷形成区域を画定し、
前記凍結面に形成された氷が重力によって前記凍結面から落ち得るに足る温度に前記凍結面が温められるまで、前記冷媒回路から前記凍結面には熱が伝達される、
