要な主表示項目を表示する第１表示パネルと、車輌の運
転を支援するための補助表示項目を表示する第２表示パ
ネルと、第１表示パネルの表示動作が異常になると第２
表示パネルに表示している補助表示項目を前記主表示項
目の表示に切換える第１切換手段と、表示を切換制御す
べき信号が与えられるようになっており、該信号が与え
られると第２表示パネルに表示している補助表示項目
を、他の補助表示項目の表示に切換える第２切換手段と
を備え、第１表示パネルの表示動作が異常の場合、主表
示項目を第２表示パネルに表示し、切換制御すべき信号
に応じて第２表示パネルに表示している補助表示項目の
表示を、他の補助表示項目の表示に切換える構成にして
あることを特徴とする運転情報表示装置。1.
