Claims (4)
- 光増幅伝送経路上でWDM信号を伝送する方法において、
少なくとも1つの不使用チャネル及び少なくとも1つの情報信号を対応する使用チャネル上に含むシステム帯域内のソース信号を送信器内で発生する工程、
前記送信器内で前記ソース信号を減衰させ、且つ該減衰したソース信号を前記送信器内の光増幅器内で増幅することにより、前記送信器内の前記不使用チャネル上に増幅された自然放出(ASE)雑音を分与する工程、及び
前記光増幅伝送経路上に前記ソース信号及び前記送信器からの前記不使用チャネル上の自然放出(ASE)雑音を結合する工程、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記自然放出(ASE)雑音が前記システム帯域にわたるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記増幅が、エルビウムドープファイバ増幅器によって行われるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記減衰が、前記少なくとも1つの情報信号に対して所望の光信号帯雑音比(OSNR)を得るために行われるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
