Description
旧来の2Dディスプレイ上で表示できるように、圧縮3D又はステレオビューの一方のビューのみを復号可能であれば有利である。
第1の技術手段は、第1の視点の画像であるトップフィールド、及び第2の視点の画像であるボトムフィールドが2つのインタレースフィールドとして符号化されたビデオフレームをともなうビットストリームを受け入れる受け入れステップと、前記受け入れステップで受け入れたビットストリームにともなう第1のビデオフレームのトップフィールド、もしくはボトムフィールドのいずれか一方を復号して第1のフィールドを導くステップと、前記受け入れステップで受け入れたビットストリームにともなう現行ビデオフレームのトップフィールドを、前記第1のフィールドのみを参照フィールドとして参照して、復号するステップと、前記受け入れステップで受け入れたビットストリームにともなう現行ビデオフレームのボトムフィールドを、前記第1のフィールドのみを参照フィールドとして参照して、復号するステップとを含むことを特徴とした三次元ビデオ復号方法である。
図3は、本発明の3Dビューフィールドインタレース処理を示している。オプション1は、左右(ステレオ又は3D)のビューを示している。オプション2は、ビューをコンポジットビデオフレームとして示している。

Claims (2)
- 第1の視点の画像であるトップフィールド、及び第2の視点の画像であるボトムフィールドが2つのインタレースフィールドとして符号化されたビデオフレームをともなうビットストリームを受け入れる受け入れステップと、
前記受け入れステップで受け入れたビットストリームにともなう第1のビデオフレームのトップフィールド、もしくはボトムフィールドのいずれか一方を復号して第1のフィールドを導くステップと、
前記受け入れステップで受け入れたビットストリームにともなう現行ビデオフレームのトップフィールドを、前記第1のフィールドのみを参照フィールドとして参照して、復号するステップと、
前記受け入れステップで受け入れたビットストリームにともなう現行ビデオフレームのボトムフィールドを、前記第1のフィールドのみを参照フィールドとして参照して、復号するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする三次元ビデオ復号方法。 - 第1の視点の画像であるトップフィールド、及び第2の視点の画像であるボトムフィールドが2つのインタレースフィールドとして符号化されたビデオフレームをともなうビットストリームを受け入れる受け入れ手段と、
前記受け入れ手段で受け入れたビデオストリームのビデオフレームを復号する復号手段とを備え、
前記復号手段は、
前記受け入れ手段で受け入れたビットストリームにともなう第1のビデオフレームのトップフィールド、もしくはボトムフィールドのいずれか一方を復号した第1のフィールドを導き、
前記受け入れ手段で受け入れたビットストリームにともなう現行ビデオフレームのトップフィールドを、前記第1のフィールドのみを参照フィールドとして参照して、復号し、
前記受け入れ手段で受け入れたビットストリームにともなう現行ビデオフレームのボトムフィールドを、前記第1のフィールドのみを参照フィールドとして参照して、復号する
ことを特徴とする三次元ビデオ復号装置。
