Claims (2)
- ポリビニルアルコールからなるポリビニルアルコール層と、このポリビニルアルコール層の両面上に配されたセルロースアシレート層とを備える複層フイルムを、加熱炉中で加熱分解することにより炭素化物とする炭素化工程と、
微細孔が形成されるまで前記炭素化物を加熱して活性炭とする微細孔形成工程と、
前記加熱分解により生じ、前記加熱炉からの排気中に含まれるカルボン酸を燃焼させて、炭酸ガスにする燃焼工程と、
前記加熱炉に熱エネルギーを与えるべき伝熱媒体と前記燃焼工程を経た前記排気との間で熱交換する熱交換工程と、
前記熱交換工程を経た前記排気をアルカリ性の溶液に接触させて、前記排気中に含まれる前記炭酸ガスを前記溶液で吸収する排気洗浄工程と、
を有することを特徴とする活性炭の製造方法。 - 前記複層フイルムは偏光板の製造での廃棄物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の活性炭の製造方法。
