Description
本願は、2005年3月15日に出願され、そして「COATING INCLUDING A DIENE POLYMER LAYER FOR MEDICAL ARTICLES」という表題を付された共通に所有されている米国仮特許出願第60/661,713号の利益を主張する。
幾つかの態様では、複数の開口部は、76μm以下の幅を有する開口部を含む。
(a)ブタジエンポリマーなどのジエンポリマーを含む組成物を金属表面に配置して、第一被膜層を形成し、
(b)親水性ポリマー及び潜在的な反応基を含む組成物を第一被膜層上に配置し、そして
(c)潜在的な反応基を処理して、親水性ポリマーを第一被膜層に結合させる
を含む、前記方法を提供する。本発明の好ましい別の態様では、金属表面は、器具の表面上に反応性の金属種を提供するために予め誘導体化されていない。
(a)ブタジエンポリマーなどのジエンポリマーを含む組成物を配置して第一被膜層を形成し、
(b)光反応基などの突出型潜在的反応基を含む架橋剤を配置し、
(c)親水性ポリマーを含む組成物を配置し、そして
(d)潜在的な反応基を処理して、親水性ポリマーを第一被膜層に結合させる
を含むことができる。

[式中、Yは、少なくとも1の酸性基、塩基性基、又は酸性基又は塩基性基の塩を含むラジカルであり、X1及びX2は、各々独立してラジカル含有潜在的光反応基である]

(a)第一ポリマーを含む組成物を配置して、上記器具の外部及び内表面上に第一被膜層を形成し、ここで、当該第一被膜層は当該器具の開口部を実質的に埋め、そして
(b)第二ポリマーを含む組成物を配置して、上記器具の外表面上に第二被膜層を形成させる
を含む。
下地の摩擦試験は、以下の様式で行われた。下地は、等張の生理食塩水中で水和され、そして200gの力をワイヤーに発揮する2個のシリコーンパッドの間で引かれた。下地上に発揮される引張力は、次に計測された(グラム)。引張力(g)は、ピンチ力(pinch force)(g)をかけた摩擦係数(COF)に等しい。引張力は、20cm秒にわたり平均化され、そして15回繰り返して引かれた。
本実施例は、下地にポリ(ジエン)ベース被膜を与え、続いてフォト-ポリ(ビニルピロリジン)被膜溶液で第二被膜する被膜方法を記載する。被膜下地は、被膜形成後の潤滑性について試験された。
Claims (26)
- 以下の:
ジエンホモポリマー又は−40℃〜0℃の範囲のTgを有するジエンポリマーを含む第一被膜層;及び
親水性ポリマーを含む第二被膜層
を含む被膜を有する体内に挿入可能な医療器具であって、上記ジエンポリマーと上記医療器具との間に共有結合が実質的に存在しない、前記医療器具。 - 前記第二被膜層が前記第一被膜層と接触する、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記親水性ポリマーが前記ジエンポリマーに共有結合する、請求項2に記載の医療器具。
- 前記親水性ポリマーが潜在的な反応基を介して前記ジエンポリマーに共有結合する、請求項3に記載の医療器具。
- 前記ジエンポリマーがポリ(ブタジエン)を含む、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記ジエンポリマーが、ポリ(1,2ブタジエン)を含む、請求項5に記載の医療器具。
- 前記ジエンポリマーが、-40℃〜0℃の範囲のTgを有する、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記ジエンポリマーが、-15℃〜0℃の範囲のTgを有する、請求項7に記載の医療器具。
- 金属表面を含む、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- ワイヤー、バルーン、遠位保護装置、ステント、及びコイルからなる群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記第一被膜層が生物活性剤を含む、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 円柱形状、第一末端、第二末端、及び当該第一末端と第二末端との間の複数の開口部を含み、ここで前記第一被膜層が、当該器具の外表面と内表面の両方において形成し、そしてここで当該第一被膜層は、当該器具の上記開口部を実質的に埋め、そしてここで前記第二被膜層が、当該外表面上に形成される、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記複数の開口部が、76μm又はそれ未満の幅を有する開口部を含む、請求項12に記載の医療器具。
- コイルを含む、請求項12に記載の医療器具。
- 体内に挿入可能な医療器具上に被膜を形成する方法であって、以下のステップ:
(a) ジエンホモポリマー又は−40℃〜0℃の範囲のTgを有するジエンポリマーを含む組成物を配置して、第一被膜層を形成し、そして
(b) 上記第一被膜層の上に親水性ポリマーを含む組成物を配置して第二被膜層を形成する
を含む、前記方法。 - ステップ(b)前記第二被膜層が、前記第一被膜層上に直接形成される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)、ステップ(b)、又はステップ(a)及び(b)の両方において、前記組成物が、潜在的な反応基をさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- ステップ(c)潜在的な反応基を含む化合物を配置する
をさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。 - ステップ(b)が、突出型光反応基を有する親水性ポリマーを配置することを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)において、前記組成物が、前記医療器具の金属表面上に配置される、請求項15に記載の方法。

- 前記第二被膜層が、前記親水性ポリマーを前記第一被膜層に結合するように処理された光反応基を含む、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記親水性ポリマーを前記第一被膜層へと結合するように処理された前記光反応基が、前記親水性ポリマーから突出している、請求項22に記載の医療器具。
- 前記親水性ポリマーを前記第一被膜層へと結合するように処理された前記光反応基が、少なくとも2の光反応基を含むイオン性架橋剤上に存在する、請求項22に記載の医療器具。
- 前記ジエンポリマーが、1,2ブタジエンを含む、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記ジエンポリマーにおいて、50%超のモノマーユニットがブタジエンモノマーユニットである、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
