Description
本発明は、一実施形態では、耐伸張性部材が備わったインプラントに関するものである。
のインプラントは、ポジショナーを介して血管部位へ導入され、その後、このポジショナ
ーから取り外され、それによってその血管部位が閉鎖される。このインプラントは、化学
的取り外し、電気分解的取り外し、機械的取り外し、油圧式取り外し、または熱的取り外
しによって、上記ポジショナーから取り外すことができる。取り外しの後に、上記係合部
分は内側管腔の内部に収容される。一実施形態では、上記係合部分は内側管腔の内部に完
全に収容される。
本願発明は、例えば、以下の項目を提供する。

本発明のインプラントの実施形態を説明するのに先立って、患者の血管部位をインプラントの使用によって閉鎖することに関連した本発明の1つの実施形態が以下に提供される。
本発明のインプラントによれば、配置に先立ってトルク付与する機能が含まれ、それによって、配置に先立つ応答性取り付けおよび再位置決めがもたらされる高水準の関節状連結が維持される。この関節状連結の水準は部分的には、その近位端に「剛性区域」が備わっていないか、またはごく小さい「剛性区域」が備わっていることによる。さらに、そして以下で説明されるように、一実施形態では、本発明のインプラントは、取り外し後には軸部なしのものである。このインプラントが軸部なしである結果、血管系の中におけるインプラントの配置に関連した外傷の程度は最小限になる。
一次コイル20、二次コイル30は、および耐伸張性部材40は、少なくとも1本のファイバー85から構成することもできる。ファイバー85は、複数本のファイバー、少なくとも1束のファイバー、または複数のファイバー束でもよい。ファイバー85は、インプラント10におけるいつくかの箇所へからまされ、くくられ、または結び付けられる。ファイバーまたはファイバー束85は、これらがインプラント10へくくられ、または結び付けられないように配置することができ、それによって、インプラント10の配置を妨げるかまたはインプラント10を機械的に損傷するおそれのある潜在的に邪魔な束が回避される。ファイバーとコイルとの使用は、参照によってその全体が本明細書の中に組み込まれている米国特許出願公開第2006/0036281号公報に開示されている。
一次コイル20、二次コイル30およびロッド60は、体内で使用されるときに組織および体液に悪影響を及ぼすことのない生体適合性の金属または合金のワイヤから作られているのが好ましい。このワイヤは、円形、正方形、楕円形、三角形、または別の形状でもよい。ある実施形態では、このワイヤには一般に、約0.025〜約0.09mm、約0.03〜約0.08mm、約0.04〜約0.06mmの直径がある。ある特定の実施形態では、このワイヤには約0.05mmの直径がある。いくつかの実施形態では、このワイヤは、一次的形状、例えば、単純な単一らせんのみで構成することができる。いくつかの実施形態では、このワイヤ構成要素は、例えばらせんコイルのような一次的形状と、カテーテルまたはガイドワイヤから解除されるときに上記コイルが付勢されて形成される二次的形状とから構成することができる。この二次的形状は複雑な三次元形状から構成されている。これらの形状には、球形、立方体、および上記ワイヤを一組のメビウスループに巻き付けることによって作られるような他の空間充填形状が含まれる。この実施形態は、本明細書と同じ日に代理人整理番号355492−7601として出願され、かつ、発明の名称が「インプラント、マンドレル、およびインプラント形成方法」である米国特許出願第12/ , ,号明細書の中で説明され、その中に認めることができる。この出願は、参照によってその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。
本明細書に記載されたインプラントは、さまざまな適切なマイクロカテーテルおよび位置決め装置によって送出することができる。一実施形態では、本発明は、本発明の1つ以上のインプラントと位置決め装置とが備わっているキットに関する。別の実施形態では、このキットにはマイクロカテーテルが含まれている。適切なマイクロカテーテル位置決め装置は、「機械的位置決め用血管内インプラントのためのシステムおよび方法」と題され、参照によってその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる国際特許出願公開(WO)第2007/121405号パンフレットの中に記載されている。
このインプラントは他の種類の機械的取り外しに加えて、電気分解的取り外し、化学的取り外し、油圧式取り外し、熱的取り外しが含まれるがこれらの限定されないいくつかの手段によって、身体の中へ配置することができる。このインプラントは、配置の後にロッド60およびボール62が二次コイル30の上記内側管腔の中で変位されるであろうから、身体の中への配置の後に軸部なしの状態に維持されていると考えられる。換言すれば、ボール62は少なくとも二次コイル30の内側管腔の中へ引き込まれている。

前記近位開口をさらに画定する二次コイルであって、前記二次コイルは、少なくとも部分的に前記一次コイル内に位置し、前記二次コイルは、前記一次コイルと同軸であり、前記二次コイルは、外径と、内径と、遠位端と、近位端とを有する、二次コイルと、
前記管腔の内部に配置された耐伸張性部材と、
