Description
本明細書に記載した概念を、請求項に記載した本発明の範囲を限定しない以下の実施例においてさらに説明していく。この実施例の項の数値は、便宜上、近似または四捨五入してある場合がある。
Claims (9)
- ガラス体の成形に用いられる耐火物であって、少なくとも80質量%のAl2O3と、5質量%以下のTa 2 O 5 とを含み、且つ、TiO 2 、CaO、SiO 2 、Fe 2 O 3 、Na 2 Oまたはこれらの任意の組み合わせの含量を、質量%で表わすと、0.5質量%以下である耐火物。
- ガラス体の成形に用いられる耐火物であって、少なくとも90質量%のAl2O3と、5質量%以下のTa 2 O 5 とを含み、且つ、TiO 2 、CaO、SiO 2 、Fe 2 O 3 、Na 2 Oまたはこれらの任意の組み合わせの含量を、質量%で表わすと、0.5質量%以下であり、前記耐火物が、少なくとも2.0のアスペクト比を有する前記耐火物の粒子数のパーセンテージが、30%以下、少なくとも2.0のアスペクト比を有する前記粒子が占めるパーセンテージ面積が、30%以下ということを含む特性を有する耐火物。
- 前記耐火物が、ガラスオーバーフロー成形ブロックを有する請求項1または2に記載の耐火物。
- ドーパントの量は、平均粒子サイズが、焼結操作中、300%を超えて増大しないようにするのに十分なものである請求項1または2に記載の耐火物。
- 前記クリープ率が、1.0×10−5μm/(μm×hr)以下である請求項1または2に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物の粒子のアスペクト比のD10値が、1.2以下、前記アスペクト比のD50値が、1.6以下、前記アスペクト比のD90値が、2.7以下、あるいはこれらの任意の組み合わせである請求項1または2に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物の粒子サイズのD10値が、40μm以下、前記粒子サイズのD50値が、60μm以下、前記粒子サイズのD90値が、90μm以下、あるいはこれらの任意の組み合わせである請求項1または2に記載の耐火物。
- 前記耐火物が、カルシウム、ケイ素、チタン、鉄、ナトリウムまたはこれらの任意の組み合わせを実質的に含まない請求項1または2に記載の耐火物。
- 少なくとも80質量%のAl2O3、およびTa 2 O 5 を含むある量の第1のドーパントを含み、且つ、TiO 2 、CaO、SiO 2 、Fe 2 O 3 、Na 2 Oまたはこれらの任意の組み合わせの含量を、質量%で表わすと、0.5質量%以下のガラスオーバーフロートラフを含む耐火物を提供するステップと、Al−Si−Mg酸化物を含むガラス材料を、前記ガラスオーバーフロートラフへ、前記ガラスオーバーフロートラフの縁を超えて流して、ガラス接触領域を画定するステップと、前記ガラス材料を流すとき、MgxAlyOzの層をガラス接触領域に沿って成形するステップと、を含むガラス体の成形方法。
