Description
燃料タンクとキャニスタのチャージポートとを連通する蒸発燃料通路と、
この蒸発燃料通路を開閉するように該蒸発燃料通路に介装され、給油時に開となる電磁弁からなる封鎖弁と、
上記燃料タンクと上記キャニスタとを連通するタンク開放通路と、
このタンク開放通路に介装され、給油のための圧力開放時に上記封鎖弁の開弁に先行して開弁する第2の制御弁と、
上記燃料タンク内の圧力を検出するタンク圧センサと、
上記封鎖弁および上記第2の制御弁が閉でかつ上記燃料タンク内の圧力が正圧である状態から上記第2の制御弁を開弁し、その後の上記燃料タンク内の圧力変化から当該第2の制御弁の診断を行う診断手段と、
を備えて構成されている。

Claims (8)
- 燃料タンクとキャニスタのチャージポートとを連通する蒸発燃料通路と、
この蒸発燃料通路を開閉するように該蒸発燃料通路に介装され、給油時に開となる電磁弁からなる封鎖弁と、
上記燃料タンクと上記キャニスタとを連通するタンク開放通路と、
このタンク開放通路に介装され、給油のための圧力開放時に上記封鎖弁の開弁に先行して開弁する第2の制御弁と、
上記燃料タンク内の圧力を検出するタンク圧センサと、
上記封鎖弁および上記第2の制御弁が閉でかつ上記燃料タンク内の圧力が正圧である状態から上記第2の制御弁を開弁し、その後の上記燃料タンク内の圧力変化から当該第2の制御弁の診断を行う診断手段と、
を備えてなる蒸発燃料処理装置。 - 上記第2の制御弁の通路面積が上記封鎖弁の通路面積よりも小さく設定されている、請求項1に記載の蒸発燃料処理装置。
- 上記診断手段は、給油のための圧力開放時に上記第2の制御弁が開弁した際に上記診断を行う、請求項1または2に記載の蒸発燃料処理装置。
- 給油のための圧力開放時に、上記第2の制御弁の開弁から所定時間経過後に封鎖弁が開弁し、
上記診断手段は、上記所定時間が経過する前に、上記燃料タンク内の圧力変化から上記診断を行う、請求項3に記載の蒸発燃料処理装置。 - 上記封鎖弁は常閉型電磁弁からなり、給油時以外は閉状態に保たれる、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の蒸発燃料処理装置。
- 上記キャニスタと内燃機関の吸気通路とを連通するパージ通路と、
このパージ通路に介装され、該パージ通路を開閉するパージ制御弁と、
をさらに備え、
上記タンク開放通路は、上記パージ通路の上記パージ制御弁よりもキャニスタ側の位置に接続されて、上記キャニスタに連通している、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の蒸発燃料処理装置。 - 上記第2の制御弁は、給油のための圧力開放時に上記封鎖弁に先行して開弁した後、上記封鎖弁の開弁とともに閉弁する、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の蒸発燃料処理装置。
- 上記第2の制御弁は、給油のための圧力開放時に上記封鎖弁に先行して開弁した後、給油終了まで開状態を保つ、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の蒸発燃料処理装置。
