Description
(1−1.ロアアームの基本構成例)
本実施形態に係る複合材料製の構造部材の一態様であるロアアーム20の構成例について説明する。図1は、ロアアーム20の一例を示す斜視図である。ロアアーム20は、略T字状あるいはL字状の平面形状を有し、車体のサスペンションクロスメンバに連結される第1の基部21と、車体のサイドフレームに連結される第2の基部22と、ボールジョイントが連結され、揺動端とされる先端部23とを有する。かかるロアアーム20は、本体部18と、第1の基部21、第2の基部22及び先端部23に設けられた孔部19a,19b,19cと、孔部19a,19b,19c内に配置された円筒部材27,28,29とを有する。第1の基部21、第2の基部22、及び先端部23は、それぞれアーム部25a,25b,25cの先端側に設けられる。
図2は、本実施形態に係る複合材料製の構造部材50の断面図であって、図1に示したロアアーム20のI−I断面を模式的に示している。なお、図2は、構造部材50の断面を模式的に示した例に過ぎず、構造部材50の断面形状は種々の形状であり得る。
次に、図3〜図7を参照して、本実施形態に係る複合材料製の構造部材50の製造方法の一例について説明する。ここでは、第1の部材53a、第2の部材53b及び複合材料製シート層60の成形素材としての繊維強化樹脂シートのマトリックス樹脂として、熱硬化性樹脂を用いた場合を例に採って説明する。
ここまで、本実施形態に係る複合材料製の構造部材50の実施形態を説明したが、構造部材50は上記の例に限られない。以下、本実施形態に係る複合材料製の構造部材50の変形例の幾つかを説明する。

Claims (8)
- コア部材と、
前記コア部材の周囲に配置されて中空を成すように互いに接合された複合材料製の複数の部材と、
前記コア部材と前記複数の部材との間に、前記複数の部材同士の接合箇所をオーバーラップするように配置され、かつ、前記複数の部材とともに中空の複合材料構造部を形成する少なくとも1つの複合材料製シートと、
を備えた、複合材料製の構造部材。 - 前記少なくとも1つの複合材料製シートは、前記構造部材の所定の断面において前記コア部材の全周に亘って配置される、請求項1に記載の複合材料製の構造部材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの複合材料製シートのうちの前記複数の部材同士の接合箇所をオーバーラップする一の複合材料製シートが、他の複合材料製シートに重なる、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材料製の構造部材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの複合材料製シートは、前記複数の部材のうちの少なくとも1つの部材と前記コア部材との間の領域から前記複数の部材同士の接合界面に亘って配置されたシートを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料製の構造部材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの複合材料製シートは、前記複数の部材のうちの一の部材と前記コア部材との間に配置された第1の複合材料製シートと、前記複数の部材のうちの他の部材と前記コア部材との間に配置された第2の複合材料製シートと、前記第1の複合材料製シート及び前記第2の複合材料製シートに亘って配置された第3の複合材料製シートと、を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料製の構造部材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの複合材料製シートは、前記複数の部材のうちの一の部材と前記コア部材との間に配置された第1の複合材料製シートと、前記複数の部材のうちの他の部材と前記コア部材との間に配置され、かつ、端部が前記第1の複合材料製シートに重ねて配置された第2の複合材料製シートと、を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料製の構造部材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの複合材料製シートは、前記構造部材の所定の断面において前記コア部材の全周に亘って配置された1枚の複合材料製シートを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料製の構造部材。
- 中空を成すように互いに接合し得る複合材料製の複数の部材を作製する工程と、
前記複数の部材により形成され得る中空部に配置し得るコア部材を作製する工程と、
前記コア部材の外周面であって、少なくとも前記複数の部材同士の接合箇所をオーバーラップする領域に複合材料製シートを積層する工程と、
前記複合材料製シートが積層された前記コア部材の周囲に前記複数の部材を積層し、前記複数の部材を接合して、積層構造体を作製する工程と、
前記積層構造体を加熱及び硬化させる工程と、
を含む、複合材料製の構造部材の製造方法。
