Description
本発明の第1実施形態に係る自動変速機1は、複数の遊星歯車機構と、クラッチやブレーキ等の複数の摩擦締結要素を備え、これらの摩擦締結要素を選択的に締結させることにより、駆動源から車輪に動力を伝える動力伝達経路を切り換えて複数の変速段を実現するように構成されている。
図6は、本発明の第2実施形態に係る自動変速機の摩擦締結要素を示す断面図である。この第2実施形態では、締結油圧室と遠心バランス室とを連通させる連通孔と、該連通孔を開閉させるための弁部とが設けられている場所が第1実施形態と異なる。なお、第1実施形態と共通する構成については、同じ符号を用いて詳細な説明を省略する。
本発明は、例示された実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲において、種々の改良及び設計上の変更が可能である。以下、そのいくつかの例を変形例として説明する。
前記実施形態をまとめると以下のとおりである。
Claims (7)
- 摩擦締結要素を備えた自動変速機であって、
前記摩擦締結要素は、
軸方向に対向する第1面及び第2面をそれぞれ有しかつ軸方向に移動可能な第1ピストン及び第2ピストンと、
前記第1、第2ピストンの第2面側に配置された複数の摩擦板と、
前記第1、第2ピストンの第1面側に設けられ、前記複数の摩擦板を締結する方向に該第1、第2ピストンを押圧する油圧が与えられる締結油圧室と、
前記第1、第2ピストンの第2面側に設けられ、前記複数の摩擦板を解放する方向に該第1、第2ピストンを押圧する油圧が与えられる対向油圧室と、
前記第1ピストンを摩擦板の解放方向に付勢する第1付勢部材と、
前記第2ピストンを前記第1付勢部材より大きい付勢力で摩擦板の解放方向に付勢する第2付勢部材と、を有し、
前記第1、第2ピストンの一方に、前記締結油圧室と前記対向油圧室とを連通させる連通孔が設けられるとともに、前記第1、第2ピストンの他方に、前記連通孔を閉塞可能な弁部が設けられ、
前記第1、第2ピストンの移動時に、前記第1付勢部材と前記第2付勢部材との付勢力の差に起因した両ピストンのストローク量の差により前記弁部が前記連通孔を開通させるように、前記第1、第2付勢部材の各付勢力が設定されている、
ことを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 前記第1付勢部材及び前記第2付勢部材は、前記対向油圧室に配設される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動変速機。 - 油圧制御機構を更に備え、
該油圧制御機構は、前記摩擦締結要素を制御するための油圧制御弁と、該油圧制御弁の出力ポートと前記締結油圧室とを連通する第1油路と、前記出力ポートと前記対向油圧室とを連通する第2油路と、を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の自動変速機。 - 前記第1、第2ピストンは、それぞれ、前記第1面が前記第2面よりも大きくなるように形成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の自動変速機。 - 前記対向油圧室の油圧が所定圧以上高くなるのを抑制するために前記第2油路上に設けられた減圧弁を更に備えた、
ことを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の自動変速機。 - 前記第1ピストンと第2ピストンとの間に、前記締結油圧室及び対向油圧室から隔絶された空間が形成されるとともに、当該空間にある空気を外に抜くためのエア抜き孔が、前記第1ピストン又は第2ピストンを貫通するように設けられている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の自動変速機。 - 軸方向に対向する第1面及び第2面をそれぞれ有しかつ軸方向に移動可能な第1ピストン及び第2ピストンと、
前記第1、第2ピストンの第2面側に配置された複数の摩擦板と、
前記第1、第2ピストンの第1面側に設けられ、前記複数の摩擦板を締結する方向に該第1、第2ピストンを押圧する油圧が与えられる締結油圧室と、
前記第1、第2ピストンの第2面側に設けられ、前記複数の摩擦板を解放する方向に該第1、第2ピストンを押圧する油圧が与えられる対向油圧室と、
前記第1ピストンを摩擦板の解放方向に付勢する第1付勢部材と、
前記第2ピストンを前記第1付勢部材より大きい付勢力で摩擦板の解放方向に付勢する第2付勢部材と、を備え、
前記第1、第2ピストンの一方に、前記締結油圧室と前記対向油圧室とを連通させる連通孔が設けられるとともに、前記第1、第2ピストンの他方に、前記連通孔を閉塞可能な弁部が設けられ、
前記第1、第2ピストンの移動時に、前記第1付勢部材と前記第2付勢部材との付勢力の差に起因した両ピストンのストローク量の差により前記弁部が前記連通孔を開通させるように、前記第1、第2付勢部材の各付勢力が設定されている、
ことを特徴とする摩擦締結要素。
