Description
波長変換部材1の製造方法では、まず、ガラスマトリックス2となるガラス粒子と蛍光体粒子3とを含むスラリーを用意する。上記スラリーには、通常、バインダー樹脂や溶剤が含まれている。

Claims (4)
- ガラスマトリックス中に蛍光体粒子が配置されてなる波長変換部材の製造方法であって、
前記ガラスマトリックスとなるガラス粒子及び平均粒子径が5μm以上の前記蛍光体粒子を含むスラリーを用意する工程と、
前記スラリーを支持基材上に塗布し、前記支持基材と所定間隔を空けて設置されたドクターブレードを前記スラリーに対して相対的に移動させることにより、グリーンシートを形成する工程と、
前記グリーンシートを複数枚重ね合わせた状態で熱圧着することにより、グリーンシート積層体を形成する工程と、
前記グリーンシート積層体を焼結することにより、波長変換部材を得る工程と、
を備え、
前記グリーンシート積層体を形成する工程において、少なくとも2枚のグリーンシートについて、前記グリーンシートを形成する工程における前記ドクターブレードの移動方向が互いに略直交するように、前記グリーンシートを重ね合わせる、波長変換部材の製造方法。 - 前記グリーンシート積層体を形成する工程が、第1及び第2のグリーンシートを繰り返し交互に重ね合わせることにより、前記グリーンシート積層体を形成する工程であり、
前記第1及び第2のグリーンシートを重ね合わせるに際し、前記第1及び第2のグリーンシートを形成する工程における前記ドクターブレードの移動方向が互いに交差するように、前記第1及び第2のグリーンシートを重ね合わせる、請求項1に記載の波長変換部材の製造方法。 - 前記第1及び第2のグリーンシートを重ね合わせるに際し、前記第1及び第2のグリーンシートを形成する工程における前記ドクターブレードの移動方向が略直交するように、前記第1及び第2のグリーンシートを重ね合わせる、請求項2に記載の波長変換部材の製造方法。
- 前記グリーンシートを重ね合わせるに際し、3枚以上のグリーンシートを重ね合わせる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の波長変換部材の製造方法。
