Description
Claims (19)
- 少なくとも寿命の一部の間に、汚損生物を含む汚損液体に浸漬される保護表面の防汚を実現するための発光装置であって、
光学媒体と、防汚光を放射するための光源とを有し、
前記光学媒体は、前記防汚光の少なくとも一部が前記光学媒体を通して分配されることを可能にする材料を有し、
前記光学媒体は、前記発光装置が前記保護表面に対して動作位置にあるときに前記保護表面から離れる方向に前記防汚光を放射するための放射面と、前記保護表面に対面する背面とを有し、
前記発光装置は、前記光源からの防汚光によってカバーされる3つのゾーン、すなわち、主に、前記光学媒体を通して前記光学媒体の前記放射面に向けて前記防汚光を鏡面反射的に反射させるように配置および構成された第1のゾーン、主に、全反射による前記光学媒体を通した前記防汚光の伝播を実現するように配置および構成された第2のゾーン、および、主に、前記光学媒体の前記放射面を通して前記光学媒体の外に前記防汚光を散乱させるように配置および構成された第3のゾーンのグループを有し、前記第1のゾーンは前記第2のゾーンよりも前記光源に近く、前記第2のゾーンは前記第3のゾーンよりも前記光源に近い、発光装置。 - 前記第1のゾーンにおいて、前記光学媒体の前記放射面が少なくとも部分的にミラーで覆われ、前記ミラーの反射側が前記放射面に面している、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記ミラーが前記防汚光に対して半透明である、請求項2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第1のゾーンにおいて、前記光学媒体の前記背面が少なくとも部分的にミラーで覆われ、前記ミラーの反射側が前記背面に面する、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第2のゾーンにおいて、前記光学媒体の前記背面が低屈折率層を有する、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第3のゾーンにおいて、前記光学媒体の前記背面が少なくとも部分的に散乱層によって覆われ、前記散乱層の散乱側が前記背面に面する、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光学媒体が概ね平坦なデザインを有し、前記3つのゾーンが、前記光学媒体が延在する方向に前記光学媒体中で連続して配置される、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光源が、前記光学媒体の前記背面のレベルよりも前記光学媒体の前記放射面のレベルの近くに配置される、請求項1から請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光源が、前記第1のゾーンにおける前記光学媒体の前記背面に直接向けて前記防汚光の50%以上を放射するように配置および構成される、請求項1から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第1のゾーンが実質的に円形の湾曲した外側境界を有し、前記外側境界と前記光源との間の半径方向距離がhl/tan(90°-θ)以上であり、hlは前記光学媒体の前記背面に対する前記光源の高さレベルを表し、θは、arcsin(n2/n1)として定義される、前記光学媒体における全反射の臨界角を表し、n1は前記光学媒体の材料の屈折率を表し、n2は前記保護表面が浸漬される真水又は海水の屈折率を表す、
請求項1から請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第3のゾーンが実質的に円形の湾曲した内側境界を有し、前記内側境界と前記光源との間の半径方向距離が、(he+(he-hl))/tan(90°-θ)以上であり、heは前記光学媒体の前記背面に対する前記光学媒体の前記放射面の高さレベルを表し、hlは前記光学媒体の前記背面に対する前記光源の高さレベルを表し、θは、arcsin(n2/n1)として定義される、前記光学媒体における全反射の臨界角を表し、n1は前記光学媒体の材料の屈折率を表し、n2は前記保護表面が浸漬される真水又は海水の屈折率を表す、請求項1から請求項10のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光学媒体がスラブの形態であり、前記光学媒体の前記放射面および前記光学媒体の前記背面が実質的に平坦で、実施的に互いに平行に延在する、請求項1から請求項11のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光源が紫外光を放射する、請求項1から請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 単一の光学媒体および前記光学媒体に埋め込まれた複数の光源を有し、前記発光装置が、前記第1のゾーン、前記第2のゾーンおよび前記第3のゾーンからなる複数のグループを有し、各々の前記光源が前記グループのうちの1つに関連付けられる、請求項1から請求項13のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光源が、グリッドとして、一連の並列接続で配置される、請求項14に記載の発光装置。
- 前記ミラーが前記防汚光に対して半透明である程度が、前記光源から離れる方向に増加する、請求項3に記載の発光装置。
- 前記低屈折率層の屈折率が、前記保護表面が浸漬される前記汚損液体の屈折率よりも低い、請求項5に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光学媒体が紫外線透明シリコーンである、請求項13に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光源が、金網構造を有するグリッドとして、一連の並列接続で配置される、請求項1から請求項18のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
