Description
(a) 第1の処理工程において、金属粒子が水性分散剤中に分配されること、および
(b) 続く第2の処理工程において、第1の処理工程(a)で分散された金属粒子が、無機ベースの層、特にコーティングによって被覆されることからなるものである。
R=アルキル、特にC1-~C5-アルキル、好ましくはC1-~C3-アルキル、より好ましくはC1-および/またはC2-アルキル;
アリール、特にC6-~C20-アリール、好ましくはC6-~C15-アリール、より好ましくはC6-~C10-アリール;
オレフィン、特に末端オレフィン、好ましくはC2-~C10-オレフィン、より好ましくはC2-~C8-オレフィン、特に好ましくはC2-~C5-オレフィン、特により好ましくはC2-および/またはC3-オレフィン、最も好ましくはビニル;
アミン、特にC2-~C10-アミン、好ましくはC2-~C8-アミン、より好ましくはC2-~C5-アミン、特に好ましくはC2-および/またはC3-アミン;
カルボン酸、特にC2-~C10-カルボン酸、好ましくはC2-~C8-カルボン酸、より好ましくはC2-~C5-カルボン酸、特により好ましくはC2-いおよび/またはC3-カルボン酸;
アルコール、特にC2-~C10-アルコール、好ましくはC2-~C8-アルコール、より好ましくはC2-~C5-アルコール、特により好ましくはC2-および/またはC3-アルコール;
X=ハロゲン、特に塩素および/または臭素;
アルコキシ、特にC1-~C6-アルコキシ、好ましくはC1-~C4-アルコキシ、より好ましくはC1-および/またはC2-アルコキシ;並びに
n=0~4、特に0~2、好ましくは0または1。
本発明によって改質された金属粒子の製造のために、ステアリン酸で被覆された市販の亜鉛フレークが、その後の処理のために脱脂され、次いで乾燥される。
亜鉛フレークの比表面積は1m2/gである。
亜鉛フレークを被覆するために、下記の表1に記載の組成物の分散液を調製する。
その後のガス発生試験のために、本発明によって改質された亜鉛フレークの水素発生を、水性媒体中のステアリン酸で被覆された亜鉛フレークと比較する。この目的のために、40gの水を入れたエルレンマイヤーフラスコ中に約3gの亜鉛フレークを注ぎ、約34℃で混合物を撹拌した。得られたガスを収集し、24時間後に回収量を常にチェックする。
本発明によって改質された亜鉛フレークは、水性コーティング組成物ならびに溶剤ベースのコーティング組成物中で調製される。
分散剤として水を含有する下記の表3に示すコーティング組成物は、一方では本発明により改質された亜鉛フレークで調製され、他方ではステアリン酸でコーティングされた標準亜鉛フレークで調製される。
脱脂された鋼板上に、表4~表7に記載の溶剤含有コーティング組成物を浸漬塗布し、200℃で30分間オーブンで硬化させる。これにより、10μmの層厚を有するコーティングが得られる。
(a)赤錆に対する耐性:
+++ 塩水噴霧試験で1000時間以上赤錆の兆候は見られず、表面も刻みもない、
++ 基質はリッツ法によってわずかな赤錆形成を示す、
+ リッツ法による顕著な赤錆の形成とその部分での最初の赤錆の形成、
+/- リッツ法による明瞭な赤錆形成および表面でのわずかな赤錆形成、
- 両方の領域でリッツ法によってわずかな赤錆の形成。
(b)白錆に対する耐性:
+++ 中性塩噴霧試験で1000時間以上経過した後、このコーティングは白錆形成の徴候を示さない、
++ 着色した変色によって認識可能なコーティングのわずかな白い錆の形成、
x コーティング中のより強い白錆の形成、
+/- コーティングにおける著しい大規模な白錆の形成、
- 強く一貫した白錆の形成。
Claims (5)
- 防食コーティング組成物であって、
該防食コーティング組成物に対して40~60重量%の量の表面改質金属粒子を含有すること、
前記表面が改質される金属粒子が、純粋な亜鉛または亜鉛合金からなること、および、前記表面改質金属粒子が、コーティング層の形においてそれらの表面に無機系改質を有すること、前記無機系改質が、ケイ素、チタンまたはジルコニウムの酸化物によって形成されること、および、前記コーティング組成物が、結合剤を含有すること、前記結合剤が、シラン、シラノール、シラン加水分解物、ポリシロキサン、シリケート、チタネート、ジルコネートおよびそれらの化合物からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする防食コーティング組成物。 - 前記無機系改質が、3~150nmの範囲内の層厚を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の防食コーティング組成物。
- 前記表面改質金属粒子が、0.1~30μmの範囲内の粒径を有すること、かつ、前記表面改質金属粒子が小板状もしくは粒状であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の防食コーティング組成物。
- 防食コーティングの調製のための請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の防食コーティング組成物の使用。
- 請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の防食コーティング組成物から得られる防食コーティング。
