Description
図2は、図1における車輪100の切断面のみを示す図であり、踏面ブレーキによる制動中に車輪100に生じる変形を誇張して例示する。図2を参照して、車輪100の踏面21に踏面ブレーキの制輪子が押し付けられたとき、リム部20は、摩擦によって熱変形し、軸方向でフランジ22側(フランジ方向)に変位しようとする。しかしながら、本実施形態に係る車輪100によれば、このようなリム部20の変位を低減することができる。すなわち、車輪100では、板部30の板厚中心線Aが車輪100の縦断面視で直線状をなす。しかも、板厚中心線Aは、半径方向外側に向かうにつれてフランジ22側に近づくように傾倒する。このため、踏面ブレーキによる鉄道車両の制動中にリム部20がフランジ方向に変位しようとしても、リム部20の変位に板部30が抵抗し、当該変位を阻害することができる。よって、軸方向におけるリム部20の変位を低減することができる。

Claims (4)
- 鉄道車両に用いられる車輪であって、
前記車輪の内周部を構成し、前記鉄道車両の車軸が挿入されるボス部と、
前記車輪の外周部を構成し、前記鉄道車両が走行するレールの頭頂面に接触する踏面と、前記車輪の半径方向で前記踏面よりも外側に突出するフランジと、を含み、前記ボス部に対し、軌道幅方向において外寄りに位置付けられたリム部と、
前記ボス部と前記リム部とを接続する環状の板部と、
を備え、
前記車輪の縦断面視で、
前記板部は、前記半径方向の外側に向かうにつれて前記フランジ側に近づくように傾倒する直線状の板厚中心線を有し、
前記板厚中心線の両端のうち前記半径方向で外側に位置する方の端である外端は、前記車輪の軸方向において前記フランジと前記踏面の中央との間に位置する、車輪。 - 請求項1に記載の車輪であって、
前記リム部の前記フランジ側の側面から前記板厚中心線の前記外端までの前記軸方向の距離は、前記リム部の前記軸方向の長さの0.3倍以上である、車輪。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の車輪であって、
前記板厚中心線が前記軸方向に対して前記フランジ側でなす角度は、87°以下である、車輪。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の車輪であって、
前記板部は、前記半径方向の外側に向かうにつれて小さくなり前記板厚中心線の前記外端の手前で最小となる板厚を有する、車輪。
