カートリッジであって、
格納チャンバ、及び
前記格納チャンバ内に取り外し可能に位置付けられた複数のクリップであって、各前記クリップが格納構成にある、複数のクリップ、を備える、カートリッジと、
前記格納チャンバ内に位置付けられた前記クリップを、前記第1の突出部及び前記第2の突出部上に前進させるように構成されている、発射駆動装置と、
後退ストローク中に前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部を前記開放位置へと移動させるように構成されている圧着駆動装置であって、前記第1の突出部及び前記第2の突出部上に位置付けられた前記クリップが、前記後退ストローク中に前記格納構成から展開構成へと移行し、前記展開構成が、前記格納構成よりも大きい、圧着駆動装置と、を備える、外科用装置。
(2) 前記発射駆動装置が、前記展開構成にある前記クリップを前記受容チャンバ内へと前進させるように更に構成されており、前記圧着駆動装置が、圧着ストローク中に前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部を前記閉鎖位置へと移動させるように更に構成されており、前記圧着ストローク中に前記クリップが患者の組織の周りで圧着される、実施態様1に記載の外科用装置。
(3) 圧着された前記クリップは、前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部が前記圧着駆動装置の別の後退ストローク中に前記開放位置へと移動された場合に、前記受容チャンバから解放され、別のクリップが、前記別の後退ストローク中に前記格納構成から前記展開構成へと移行される、実施態様2に記載の外科用装置。
(4) 前記発射駆動装置が、前記クリップの前記格納構成から前記展開構成への移行中に、前記クリップの近位部分を支持するように構成されている支持部分を備える、実施態様2に記載の外科用装置。
(5) 前記第1の顎部が第1のカム部材を備え、前記第2の顎部が第2のカム部材を備え、前記第1のカム部材及び前記第2のカム部材が、前記圧着駆動装置と相互作用して、前記後退ストローク中に前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部を前記開放位置へと移動させる、実施態様1に記載の外科用装置。
(7) 前記カートリッジは、前記外科用装置に解放可能に取り付けできる、実施態様1に記載の外科用装置。
(8) クリップを適用するための外科用装置であって、
ハウジングから延在するシャフトと、
前記シャフトから延在するエンドエフェクタであって、前記エンドエフェクタが受容チャンバを備える、エンドエフェクタと、
クリップカートリッジ内に取り外し可能に位置付けられた複数のクリップであって、前記クリップカートリッジは前記外科用装置に解放可能に取り付けることができ、各前記クリップが、前記外科用装置の動作中に複数の状態をとるように構成されており、前記複数の状態が、
格納状態であって、各前記クリップが前記格納状態にある場合に第1の寸法を備える、格納状態、及び
展開状態であって、各前記クリップが前記展開状態にある場合に前記第1の寸法よりも大きい第2の寸法を備える、展開状態、を含む、複数のクリップと、
前記クリップを前記格納状態から前記展開状態へと移行させるように構成されている予備形成特徴部と、
クリップを前記クリップカートリッジから前記エンドエフェクタの前記受容チャンバ内へと前進させるように構成されている発射駆動装置と、を備える、外科用装置。
(9) 圧着ストローク中に、患者の組織の周りで、前記受容チャンバ内のクリップを圧着するように構成されている圧着駆動装置を更に備える、実施態様8に記載の外科用装置。
(10) 圧着された前記クリップが、前記圧着駆動装置の後退ストローク中に前記受容チャンバから解放され、別のクリップが、前記後退ストローク中に前記格納状態から前記展開状態へと移行される、実施態様9に記載の外科用装置。
(12) 前記支持部分は、前記クリップが前記受容チャンバ内へと前進された場合に、前記クリップの前記近位部分を支持するように更に構成されている、実施態様11に記載の外科用装置。
(13) 前記エンドエフェクタが、前記受容チャンバを少なくとも部分的に画定する第1の顎部及び第2の顎部を更に備え、前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部が、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で互いに対して移動可能であり、前記予備形成特徴部が、前記第1の顎部上の第1の突出部及び前記第2の顎部上の第2の突出部を備える、実施態様8に記載の外科用装置。
(14) 前記第1の突出部が第1の角度付き表面を備え、前記第2の突出部が第2の角度付き表面を備え、前記クリップが前記受容チャンバに向かって移動した場合に、前記第1の角度付き表面及び前記第2の角度付き表面により、前記クリップを前記予備形成特徴部上に容易に移動させる、実施態様13に記載の外科用装置。
(15) クリップを適用するための外科用装置であって、
ハウジングから延在するシャフトと、
前記シャフトから延在するエンドエフェクタであって、前記エンドエフェクタが受容チャンバを備える、エンドエフェクタと、
前記外科用装置内に取り外し可能に位置付けられた複数のクリップであって、各前記クリップが、前記外科用装置の動作中に格納構成及び展開構成を備え、前記展開構成が前記格納構成よりも大きい、複数のクリップと、
前記展開構成にある第1の前記クリップを前記受容チャンバ内へと前進させるように構成されている往復式発射駆動装置と、
完全な後退位置と完全な前進位置との間で移動可能な圧着駆動装置であって、前記圧着駆動装置が前記完全な前進位置に向かって移動された場合に、前記展開構成にある前記第1のクリップを圧着するように構成されており、前記圧着駆動装置が前記完全な後退位置に向かって移動された場合に、前記第1のクリップが前記受容チャンバから解放され、かつ第2の前記クリップが前記展開構成へと移行される、圧着駆動装置と、を備える、外科用装置。
(17) 前記往復式発射駆動装置が、前記クリップマガジンから展開位置へと前記クリップを前進させるように更に構成されており、前記クリップが前記展開位置において前記展開構成へと移行される、実施態様16に記載の外科用装置。
(18) 前記エンドエフェクタは、前記圧着駆動装置が前記完全な後退位置に向かって移動された場合に、前記クリップを前記格納構成から前記展開構成へと移行させるように構成されている予備形成特徴部を更に備える、実施態様17に記載の外科用装置。
(19) 前記往復式発射駆動装置が、前記第1のクリップの前記格納構成から前記展開構成への移行中に前記第1のクリップの近位部分を支持するように構成されている支持部分を備える、実施態様15に記載の外科用装置。
(20) 前記支持部分が、前記第1のクリップの前記受容チャンバ内への前進中に前記第1のクリップの前記近位部分を支持するように更に構成されている、実施態様19に記載の外科用装置。
Claims (20)
- 1対の脚部を備えたクリップを適用するための外科用装置であって、
ハウジングから延在するシャフトと、
前記シャフトから延在するエンドエフェクタであって、
第1の顎部であって、そこから延在する第1の突出部を備える、第1の顎部、及び
第2の顎部であって、そこから延在する第2の突出部を備える、第2の顎部、を備え、前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部が、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で互いに対して移動可能であり、前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部が、受容チャンバを少なくとも部分的に画定する、エンドエフェクタと、
カートリッジであって、
格納チャンバ、及び
前記格納チャンバ内に取り外し可能に位置付けられた複数のクリップであって、前記複数のクリップの各クリップが格納構成にある、複数のクリップ、を備える、カートリッジと、
前記格納チャンバ内に位置付けられた前記複数のクリップのうちの1つのクリップを、前記第1の突出部及び前記第2の突出部上に前進させるように構成されている、発射駆動装置と、
後退ストローク中に前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部を前記開放位置へと移動させるように構成されている圧着駆動装置であって、前記第1の突出部及び前記第2の突出部上に位置付けられた前記1つのクリップが、前記後退ストローク中に前記格納構成から展開構成へと移行し、前記展開構成における前記脚部間の距離が、前記格納構成における前記脚部間の距離よりも大きい、圧着駆動装置と、を備え、
前記複数のクリップの各クリップは、前記発射駆動装置によって前記受容チャンバに前進させられる前に前記格納構成から前記展開構成に移行させられる、外科用装置。 - 前記発射駆動装置が、前記展開構成にある前記1つのクリップを前記受容チャンバ内へと前進させるように更に構成されており、前記圧着駆動装置が、圧着ストローク中に前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部を前記閉鎖位置へと移動させるように更に構成されており、前記圧着ストローク中に前記1つのクリップが患者の組織の周りで圧着される、請求項1に記載の外科用装置。
- 圧着された前記1つのクリップは、前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部が前記圧着駆動装置の別の後退ストローク中に前記開放位置へと移動された場合に、前記受容チャンバから解放され、別のクリップが、前記別の後退ストローク中に前記格納構成から前記展開構成へと移行される、請求項2に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記発射駆動装置が、前記1つのクリップの前記格納構成から前記展開構成への移行中に、前記1つのクリップの近位部分を支持するように構成されている支持部分を備える、請求項2に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記第1の顎部が第1のカム部材を備え、前記第2の顎部が第2のカム部材を備え、前記第1のカム部材及び前記第2のカム部材が、前記圧着駆動装置と相互作用して、前記後退ストローク中に前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部を前記開放位置へと移動させる、請求項1に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記第1の突出部が第1の角度付き表面を備え、前記第2の突出部が第2の角度付き表面を備え、前記1つのクリップが前記受容チャンバに向かって前進した場合に、前記第1の角度付き表面及び前記第2の角度付き表面により、前記1つのクリップが前記第1の突出部及び前記第2の突出部を通り過ぎて摺動することを可能にする、請求項1に記載の外科用装置。

展開状態であって、前記複数のクリップの各クリップが前記展開状態にある場合に前記脚部間に前記第1の寸法よりも大きい第2の寸法を備える、展開状態、を含む、複数のクリップと、
前記複数のクリップのうちの1つのクリップを前記格納状態から前記展開状態へと移行させるように構成されている予備形成特徴部と、
前記1つのクリップを前記クリップカートリッジから前記エンドエフェクタの前記受容チャンバ内へと前進させるように構成されている発射駆動装置と、を備え、

- 前記発射駆動装置が、前記1つのクリップの前記格納状態から前記展開状態への移行中に前記1つのクリップの近位部分を支持するように構成されている支持部分を備える、請求項8に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記支持部分は、前記1つのクリップが前記受容チャンバ内へと前進された場合に、前記1つのクリップの前記近位部分を支持するように更に構成されている、請求項11に記載の外科用装置。

完全な後退位置と完全な前進位置との間で移動可能な圧着駆動装置であって、前記圧着駆動装置が前記完全な前進位置に向かって移動された場合に、前記展開構成にある前記第1のクリップを圧着するように構成されており、前記圧着駆動装置が前記完全な後退位置に向かって移動された場合に、前記第1のクリップが前記受容チャンバから解放され、かつ前記複数のクリップのうちの第2のクリップが前記展開構成へと移行される、圧着駆動装置と、を備える、外科用装置。 - 前記外科用装置に解放可能に取り付け可能なクリップマガジンを更に備え、前記クリップマガジンが、前記複数のクリップを前記格納構成で格納している、請求項15に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記往復式発射駆動装置が、前記クリップマガジンから展開位置へと前記複数のクリップのうちの1つのクリップを前進させるように更に構成されており、前記1つのクリップが前記展開位置において前記展開構成へと移行される、請求項16に記載の外科用装置。
