前記メカニカルシールシステムが前記潤滑流体の圧力反転を診断するように構成されているかどうかを判定することと、
前記メカニカルシールシステムが前記摺動シール界面の近傍のキャビテーションを診断するように構成されているかどうかを判定することと、
前記摺動シール界面内の潤滑不良が検出されたという通知をユーザに送信することと、を含む、方法。
[参考態様2]
前記メカニカルシールシステムを評価して、前記メカニカルシールシステムの故障の可能性を、前記メカニカルシールシステムの前記摺動シール界面内の潤滑不良、前記摺動シール界面に提供される潤滑流体の低流量、前記摺動シール界面の近位の潤滑流体の圧力反転、及び前記摺動シール界面の近傍で発生するキャビテーションのうちの少なくとも1つに関して判定することをさらに含む、参考態様1に記載の方法。
[参考態様3]
個々の顧客のニーズ、特定の環境条件、及び/または前記メカニカルシールシステムの具体的な用途に適合させる目的で、発生の可能性が高いと判定されたメカニカルシールシステム故障に関連する動作条件を診断するように前記メカニカルシールシステムを適応させることをさらに含む、参考態様2に記載の方法。

前記メカニカルシールシステム内の潤滑不良の故障モードロジックモジュールを起動することをさらに含み、前記潤滑不良の故障モードロジックモジュールは、前記摺動シール界面内の潤滑不良に関連する条件を診断するように構成されている、参考態様2に記載の方法。

前記ユーザの通知後の経過時間を判定するためにタイマを開始することをさらに含む、参考態様6に記載の方法。
[参考態様9]
前記経過時間が所定の時間を超える場合にアラームメッセージを送信することをさらに含む、参考態様8に記載の方法。

Claims (9)
- メカニカルシールの摺動シール界面内の潤滑不良を自律的に検出するように構成されたメカニカルシールシステムであって、
固定ハウジングと回転軸との間の摺動シール界面を有するメカニカルシールと、
前記メカニカルシールの近傍の音響放出データ及び前記摺動シール界面の近傍の潤滑流体の温度を感知するように構成された1つ以上のセンサと、
前記1つ以上のセンサによって感知されたデータを監視し、前記摺動シール界面内の潤滑不良に関連する条件を診断するように構成された潤滑不良の故障モードロジックモジュールと、
前記1つ以上のセンサによって感知されたデータを監視し、メカニカルシールシステム内で発生することが知られている特定の種類の機械的故障に関連する条件を診断するように構成された複数の他の故障モードロジックモジュールであって、潤滑流体の低流量の故障モードロジックモジュール、潤滑流体の圧力反転の故障モードロジックモジュール、及び前記摺動シール界面の近傍のキャビテーションの故障モードロジックモジュールを含む、複数の他の故障モードロジックモジュールと、を備え、
前記複数の他の故障モードロジックモジュールのうちの選択された故障モードロジックモジュールが、前記メカニカルシールシステム内の各故障モードロジックモジュールのそれぞれの特定の種類の機械的故障の発生の可能性に基づいて起動され、
前記潤滑不良の故障モードロジックモジュールは、前記複数の他の故障モードロジックモジュールのうちのどれが前記摺動シール界面内の潤滑不良に関連する条件の前記診断中に起動されているかを判定するように構成され、
前記潤滑不良の故障モードロジックモジュールは、以下の場合、すなわち
(i)前記潤滑流体の低流量の故障モードロジックモジュールが起動され、感知された音響放出データが該感知された音響放出データの確立されたベースライン条件を超え、前記摺動シール界面の近傍のキャビテーションの故障モードロジックモジュールが起動されていない場合、又は
(ii)前記潤滑流体の低流量の故障モードロジックモジュールが起動されず、感知された音響放出データが該感知された音響放出データの確立されたベースライン条件を超え、前記摺動シール界面の近傍の潤滑流体の温度が確立されたベースライン条件を超え、前記潤滑流体の圧力反転の故障モードロジックモジュールが起動され、前記摺動シール界面の近傍のキャビテーションの故障モードロジックモジュールが起動されていない場合に、
潤滑不良を検出するように構成される、メカニカルシールシステム。 - 前記複数の他の故障モードロジックモジュールのうちの前記選択された故障モードロジックモジュールは、個々の顧客のニーズ、特定の環境条件、及び/または前記メカニカルシールの具体的な用途に適合するように前記メカニカルシールシステムを適応させる目的で起動される、請求項1に記載のメカニカルシールシステム。
- 前記複数の他の故障モードロジックモジュールのうちの前記選択された故障モードロジックモジュールが、前記メカニカルシールシステムの評価に基づいて起動され、前記メカニカルシールシステムの故障の可能性を、前記メカニカルシールシステムの前記摺動シール界面内の潤滑流体の低流量、前記摺動シール界面の近位の潤滑流体の圧力反転、及び前記摺動シール界面の近傍で発生するキャビテーションのうちの少なくとも1つに関して判定する、請求項1に記載のメカニカルシールシステム。
- 前記摺動シール界面内の潤滑不良が検出されたとき、ユーザに通知が送信される、請求項1に記載のメカニカルシールシステム。
- 前記通知は、前記摺動シール界面内の前記潤滑不良の厳しさを示す、請求項4に記載のメカニカルシールシステム。
- 前記通知は、トラブルシューティング及び/または適切な措置を行って前記摺動シール界面内の前記潤滑不良を改善するためにユーザガイダンスを提供するように構成された推奨メッセージを含む、請求項4に記載のメカニカルシールシステム。
- 前記潤滑不良の故障モードロジックモジュールは、通知が送信された後の経過時間を決定するように構成されたタイマを含む、請求項1に記載のメカニカルシールシステム。
- 前記経過時間が所定の時間を超える場合にアラームメッセージが送信される、請求項7に記載のメカニカルシールシステム。
- 前記アラームメッセージは、前記摺動シール界面の推定残存耐用年数を含む、請求項8に記載のメカニカルシールシステム。
