Description
図1は、本開示の第1実施形態に係る電池パック10の外観図である。図2は、図1中のAA線断面図である。図1および図2に示すように、電池パック10は、複数の電池50と、ケース90とを備える。ケース90は、複数の電池50を収容するケース本体20と、ケース本体20の開口部を塞ぐケース蓋30とケース底40を有する。ケース90は、角筒状に形成されたケース本体20の各開口部が、ケース蓋30とケース底40によりそれぞれ閉じられ、内部空間が密閉された構造を有する。このため、ケース90内部に水や粉塵が侵入しないようになっている。以下では、説明の便宜上、ケース90のケース蓋30側を上、ケース底40側を下とし、ケース蓋30、ケース本体20、およびケース底40が並ぶ方向を上下方向とする。
次に、図1および図3を参照して、電池パックのガスを排出する機能を有する器具について説明する。本実施形態では、器具の例として、電池パックの充電器である場合について説明する。
図4を参照して、その他の応用例について説明する。図4は、電池パック10が使用される電気機器80に設置された場合を示し、電気機器80と電池パック10のガス排出機構を含む断面図である。
Claims (4)
- 電池パックと前記電池パックを充電するための充電器とのアセンブリであって、
前記電池パックは、
複数の電池と、
前記複数の電池を収容するケースと、
を備え、
前記ケースは、
前記ケースを貫通して形成された排出孔と、
前記ケースの内部において前記排出孔を囲むように有底筒状に形成された隔壁と、
前記隔壁の筒内に設けられ、前記排出孔を塞ぐ封止部材と、
前記隔壁の筒内に設けられ、前記封止部材を前記排出孔の方向に付勢する付勢部材と、
を有し、
前記隔壁は、前記排出孔とともにガス排出経路を形成する通気孔を有し、
前記封止部材は、前記ケースの外側から押圧されたときに内側に移動して前記排出孔を開放するように構成されており、
前記充電器は、
前記電池パックが載置される台座と、
前記台座に形成された孔であって、前記電池パックの前記排出孔と重なる位置に形成されたガス導入孔と、
前記台座に形成された通気経路であって、前記ガス導入孔と連通し、前記電池パックから排出されるガスを器具外部に導くための排出ダクトと、
前記ガス導入孔から突出して、前記電池パックの前記封止部材を押圧する押圧部と、
を備え、
前記充電器の側面には、前記排出ダクトと連通する開口部が設けられ、
前記充電器に前記電池パックが載置されたとき、前記ケースの前記排出孔が形成された面は、前記充電器の前記ガス導入孔が形成された面と隙間なく接触する、アセンブリ。 - 前記電池パックの前記隔壁の一部は、メッシュ構造で形成され、前記通気孔を形成する、
