Cooling generates thermal stress in the base material, which tends to cause defects such as warping and deformation in the product. Furthermore, since a furnace is used for firing, there are equipment limitations, for example, making it difficult to easily apply glaze on site.

He developed a method of baking a glaze layer onto the surface of a tile base material by thermal spraying, and published this as Japanese Patent Application No. 145090/1983. When using this method, the tile base material on which the glaze is baked is already fired. Furthermore, since the firing temperature of the tile base material is higher than that of the glaze baking, even if the tile base material is sometimes heated during the glaze baking, defects such as warping and deformation are less likely to occur in the base material.

Therefore, when a pressing mold is pressed against this glaze layer, the surface of the glaze layer is easily deformed in accordance with the unevenness of the pressing mold and/or the fibrous heat-resistant material. In this regard, with the conventional method of firing the glaze in a furnace, if you want to create unevenness on the glaze layer using a pressing mold, it is necessary to heat the fired glaze layer again to a high temperature to make it viscous. There is. In contrast, in the present invention, since the properties of the glaze layer immediately after thermal spraying are utilized, unevenness can be easily imparted without the need for reheating. In addition, by adjusting the timing of pressing the mold and/or fibrous heat-resistant material onto the glaze layer, accurate patterns can be created with a small amount of pressing force.
It becomes possible to express characters, etc.

In this way, a glaze layer 4 having a thickness of 0.5 to 2.0 m is formed on the surface of the tile base material 1.

Alternatively, instead of the illustrated press die 5, it is also possible to press a fibrous heat-resistant material such as ceramic fiber. Furthermore, this fibrous heat-resistant material can also be used in combination with the press die 5.

However, when the temperature of the glaze layer 4 is too high, a part of the glaze layer 4 flows after being pressed, and accurate letters, patterns, etc. cannot be applied to the glaze layer 4. On the other hand, as the temperature of the glaze layer 4 decreases, the flow phenomenon decreases and it becomes possible to form accurate letters, patterns, etc., but the pressing force increases. Therefore, in order to satisfy both conditions, it is preferable to press the pressing mold 5 at a time when the glaze layer 4 is in a temperature range of 300° C. or higher.

Or, it has the function of this mold release agent and the glaze layer 4
A resin tape with glass beads, silica sand, etc., which is transferred to give a decorative effect etc. to the surface of the glaze layer 4, is pressed into the mold 5.
It is also possible to paste it on the pressing surface.

A layer can be formed on top of the tile base. Moreover, since the surface of the glaze layer is made smooth by the pressing of the press, a tile from which stains can be easily removed can be obtained. In this way, according to the present invention, it has become possible to efficiently produce thermal sprayed tiles with high commercial value.
