Grinding is performed using a linear grindstone that matches the shape of surface 7, but the conventional method is to align the workpieces in a fixed direction and continuously grind them, as shown in the workpiece grinding and conveying device of JP-A-57-168858. There is a method of sending the workpiece 1 and grinding it, another method of placing the workpieces one by one on a processing jig attached to the conveyor and grinding, and another method of clamping and grinding one workpiece at a time. Method: Put the workpiece 1 into a processing jig 2 with a plurality of partition plates 4 as shown in Fig. 7, rotate the linear grindstone 3 in the direction A, and move the processing jig 2 in the direction B. There are methods such as grinding. At this time, the machining distance is approximately 1.5m+, which is heavy grinding, and a large amount of grinding water 25 is pumped through the nozzle 24 in order to cool the grinding wheel 3 and dispose of the removed ferrite powder and the abrasive grains that have fallen off the grinding wheel 6. Machining while spraying 0 Among the conventional machining methods described above, the method of continuously feeding and grinding is the most efficient, but the method of machining by clamping one piece at a time has the best machining accuracy. The machining efficiency is close to the method of continuous feed machining, and the machining accuracy is close to the method of clamping and grinding one piece at a time, as shown in Figure 7, where the workpiece is placed in a jig with multiple partition plates. This is the way to do it. To explain this method in detail, a workpiece 1 is placed on a processing jig 2a shown in FIG.
After grinding with
The surface 5 is attracted by a vacuum device 122, and the inner R surface and the seat surface 7 are simultaneously ground by a linear grindstone 3b.

Then, the corner of the contact part of the next workpiece 1 is chipped, and the workpiece 1 may be oriented sideways during the feeding movement, although it is very difficult to do so. In addition, the removed ferrite powder and fallen abrasive grains cause wear on the guides that come into contact with the workpiece 1. Therefore, there are large variations in dimensional accuracy after machining.

。The method of feeding by a conveyor also has a complicated structure, the rotating sliding part wears out quickly, the dimensional accuracy after processing decreases, and it is not preferable from the viewpoint of maintenance and setup time.

Due to differences in grinding resistance caused by wear, workpiece 1
moves in the direction of arrow X shown in Figure 10a or in the direction of arrow Y shown in Figure 10S, causing a shift, and the dimensions shown in Figure 10 become Hl > H, h, > h. The disadvantage is that they are different. Further, in this conventional grinding machine, as shown in FIG. 16, a sliding table 10 and a guide 12 are mounted on a horizontal surface, and a cover 21 is provided to protect the guide. In this case, the method of covering is the bellows 26 shown in FIG.
There is a method using a slide type cover 27 shown in FIG. . As a result, as shown in FIG. 11, ferrite powder and abrasive grains 3
6 accumulated and the bellows 26 expanded and contracted, causing damage! 0, l! As shown in FIG. 12, the wiper 28 is worn out by the ferrite powder 23 and abrasive grains 66 accumulated at the end of the sliding cover 27, and the ferrite powder 26
The abrasive grains 36 enter the cover 21 together with the grinding water 25,
The sliding parts of the guide 12 are likely to wear out. Further, if the ferrite powder 26 and the abrasive grains 36 dry and adhere to the cover 21, there is a drawback that the movement of the cover 21 becomes difficult.

である。In the present invention, three processing jigs with a plurality of partition plates are attached to separate sliding tables in a straight line in the order of upward, downward, and upward, and the downward-facing jig is attached to the vacuum of the workpiece. In a grinding machine that processes an arc-shaped workpiece that is configured to be able to suction and move up and down, in the first step, the outside of the workpiece is A reference surface, which is a plurality of intersecting planes, is formed on the R surface, and in the second step, the inner R surface and the left and right bearing surfaces are ground using a jig that vacuum suctions the reference surface. The outer R surface is ground using a jig that uses the processed inner R surface or the left and right bearing surfaces as a reference for processing.

Function] In this way, in the first step, a reference surface, which is a plurality of intersecting planes, is formed on the outer R surface of the workpiece, and in the second step, the inner R surface and the seat surface are formed using a jig that vacuum-chucks the reference surfaces. By grinding, it is possible to stop the force that causes the workpiece to shift from side to side on the reference surface.

構造にしている。In a normal grinding machine, as shown in Fig. 14, the table 10 is longer than the stroke of the table 10, so all of the grinding water can be collected by the plate 37 attached to the table, making it easy to protect the guide 12. However, when machining multiple surfaces of the arc-shaped workpiece according to the present invention, multiple sets of grindstones and tables are required, and the workpiece must be transferred, so the stroke of the table becomes long.
Furthermore, since the installation space of the grinding machine must be minimized, the length of the table must be kept as short as possible, so it is not possible to collect the grinding water on the table like a normal grinding machine. Since this is not possible, the structure described above is used.

By grinding, it is possible to stop the force that causes the workpiece to shift from side to side, so that the dimensions and shapes and circular arcs of the left and right seating surfaces can be ground symmetrically and with high dimensional accuracy. Table 1 shows a comparison of the dimensional accuracy and takt time of workpieces after machining in the conventional machining method and the machining method according to the present invention.

Processing method (2) is a processing method according to the present invention. FIGS. 16 and 17 are diagrams showing the shape of the workpiece after machining, and FIGS. 18 and 19 are diagrams showing the method for measuring the squareness. To measure the squareness, first place the master gauge on the V block 38 and hit it against the stopper 39, and after adjusting the reading of the tire gauge at that time to zero, place the work 1 on the V block 38 as shown in Fig. 18. The dial gauge reading when placed with the inner 8 surfaces 6 facing upward and abutting against the stopper 39 is taken as the perpendicularity. Compared to the conventional machining method shown in Table 1, by using the machining method according to the present invention, the machining accuracy can be reduced to 1.
It is possible to perform highly efficient machining with high accuracy and short takt time, which is similar to the method of clamping one piece at a time.
