This often causes damage and accidents. Therefore, in order to prevent this accident, door mirrors with a foldable structure are becoming popular. However, in the case of conventional folding door mirrors, the damage accidents can only be reduced to some extent, but the damage itself cannot be prevented. Therefore, conventionally, in order to prevent these damage-related accidents, drivers have to be as careful as they would be when driving a wide car, even though the car is narrow. When driving, they tended to cause traffic congestion.

The device is characterized in that a rotating roller is provided so that its surface protrudes outward.

Although not shown, an operating mechanism for adjusting the angle of the mirror 3 to an appropriate position from inside the vehicle is also provided. In the foldable automobile door mirror having this configuration, in this embodiment, the projecting end of the mirror frame 2 (i.e., the side opposite to the fixing member 1) is provided with a structure as shown in FIGS. A cylindrical rotating roller 4 having a surface shape is rotatable about a vertical axis (Z axis in the figure) so that its surface protrudes outward from the outer surface of the end of the projecting side of the mirror frame 2. It is provided. Note that this rotating roller 4 is desirably made of an elastic material such as rubber or vinyl chloride.

る。 According to such a configuration, when a car equipped with this door mirror as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 passes through a narrow road, for example, and the mirror frame 2 approaches an obstacle 5 such as a wall, The rotating roller 4 protruding to the outermost side comes into contact with the obstacle 5, and the mirror frame 2 falls forward or backward through the contact of the rotating roller 4 with the obstacle 5. Furthermore, even if the car moves from this state,
The movement is converted into rolling of the rotary roller 4, and there is no sliding contact between the mirror frame 2 itself and the obstacle 5, and damage accidents such as damage to the door mirror and crushing are prevented.
