    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 用紙を給紙トレイから給紙する給紙手段と、給
    紙手段により給紙されたかどうかチエツクする給
    紙部用紙検出手段と、用紙を送り出す分離搬送手
    段と、静電潜像を形成する感光体手段と、用紙に
    トナー像を定着させる定着手段と、送紙経路上の
    用紙状態を記憶するための不揮発記憶装置手段と
    、用紙が電子写真プリンタから排紙されたかどう
    かチエツクする排紙部用紙検出手段と、これらを
    制御するための制御器手段よりなる電子写真プリ
    ンタにおいて、前記給紙部用紙検出手段と排紙部
    用紙検出手段の距離Ｌ１よりも短かい用紙長Ｌ２
    の用紙（Ｌ１＞Ｌ２）が、給紙手段により給紙さ
    れ、分離搬送手段により給紙部用紙検出手段と排
    紙部用紙検出手段の間に用紙が搬送されて、前記
    両用紙検出手段が用紙を検出していない場合は、
    給紙部用紙検出手段と排紙部用紙検出手段の間に
    用紙が有るという情報を不揮発記憶装置手段に記
    憶するということを特徴とした電子写真プリンタ
    の紙ジヤム検出装置。
