  1. ガス切断機１のトーチ４に静電容量式トーチ高
    さ検出器６の電極７を電極ホルダー９で支持し、
    電極７は中空状に形成して火口４ａをとり囲むよ
    うに配置し、この中空状電極７の中空部で被切断
    物用冷却液の流路１３を構成するとともに、流路
    １３の周肉壁１４に冷却液出口孔１５及び冷却液
    入口孔１７をあけたことを特徴とするガス切断ト
    ーチ高さ検出装置。
