Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the used amount of a repairing refractory, to make the repairing work easier, and so on, by forming a hole reaching a shell through a refractory lining at a spot where no already existing stud exists and adding the repairing refractory after a new stud in implanted at the time of repairing the lining which is formed by implanting studs on the shell and coating the shell with the refractory. CONSTITUTION: After slug or reaction layers formed by reactions adhering to the surface of a refractory lining 2 are chipped with a water jet 3, a hole 5 reaching a shell and having a diameter of 40-50 mm is formed through the lining 3 at a spot where no already existing stud 1 exists. Then, after a new stud 1' is welded to the bottom of the hole 5 and an outer frame 6 is put on the lining 2, a new refractory 2' is poured in the hole 5. It is preferable to use such a material that is neither not shifted from nor come off the old material when the temperature fluctuates as the new refractory 2'. Therefore, furnace material unit requirement can be reduced and the repairing period of the lining can be shortened, because the used amount of the new material can be reduced.

(Prior art) Conventionally, for refractory linings in which studs are installed in a steel shell and a refractory material is coated on the studs, metal studs such as Y-shaped, T-shaped, and V-shaped studs are used to support the refractories. is common. If studs are embedded up to the surface of the refractory material, they will be exposed to high temperatures and will oxidize and deteriorate at ambient temperature. In molten metal containers, the studs will melt in advance as the lining material melts. The thickness is usually 273 to 1/3 of the lining thickness. In such a molten metal container, the amorphous lining can be added to the surface layer where construction material remains and can be used again, which has the advantage of improving the unit consumption of the lining material. In this lining, if the studs melt, there will be no way to support them, so either you can replace the lining without studs at the expense of durability, or you can stop the furnace before the studs melt, dismantle the lining until it is exposed, and replace it with new material. There is a method of refilling, but it is disadvantageous in terms of the unit consumption of lining material. For this reason, even if the stud is melted, it is common to use it until the remaining thickness reaches its limit.

Figure 3 (a) shows a state in which the stud 1 is also damaged in the same way as the monolithic refractory lining, and Figure 3 (b) shows the state in which the lining 2 is dismantled with an air pick, but only around the stud. The structure could be dismantled, but due to the vibrating disassembly, cracks would appear and the entire structure would be damaged. The same figure (C) shows the state in which the melted stud 1 is removed, the same figure (d) shows the state in which a new stud 1° is welded, and the same figure (e) shows the state in which the outer frame 6 is fitted and the monolithic refractory material 2 Shows the state in which ゛ has been poured.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention enables such repairs to be carried out without removing all the refractories including the planted studs, as in the conventional method, by leaving the existing studs as required. Effectively dismantle and remove only the repaired area, then install new studs and cover with fireproofing material, improving the durability of the fireproof lining, significantly reducing the amount of fireproofing material,
This is intended to make work easier.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention advantageously solves the above-mentioned problems, and its gist is to repair a fire-resistant lining in which studs are planted in an iron shell and covered with a fire-resistant material. This is a method for repairing fire-resistant lining, which involves making holes that reach the steel skin in areas where there are no existing studs on the dismantling and repair surface of the repaired area, planting studs in the recesses, and then adding repair fire-resistant material. .

In the present invention, for such a repaired surface after disassembly, the existing stud portion is first removed, and holes reaching the outer skin are drilled at appropriate locations and using an appropriate method. This hole is of a size necessary and sufficient to accommodate the new stud, and the new stud is then installed in the hole by any suitable method.

For example, holes to be drilled in repaired surfaces after disassembly can be made very efficiently by using a water jet, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. That is, the slag deposits and reaction layer 3 on the surface of the refractory lining 2 are first removed by a water jet. After that, drill a hole of 40 to 50 φ that reaches the iron skin in the area where there is no existing stud.

In FIG. 1, 3 indicates a water jet nozzle, and 4 indicates an ultra-high pressure water pump. Further, FIG. 2(a) shows a state in which not only the refractory 2 but also the stud 1 is worn out, and in such a state, the present invention is designed to avoid the position of the existing stud 1 as shown in FIG. 2(b). A hole 5 is made in the refractory 2 by a water jet using a water jet nozzle 3. Then (C)
Attach a new stud 1° to the bottom of the hole by welding as shown in (d), then fit the outer frame 6 and install the new refractory material 2 as shown in (d).

Further, any metal stud such as a Y-type, T-type, or Y-type stud may be used as the stud to be installed in this hole. The easiest way to join steel skin and metal studs is to use a stud welder (electric welding).

Repair materials that do not cause any misalignment or peeling between the new and old materials even when the temperature changes, and those that do not react with the new and old materials even when heated to high temperatures, and those that do not flow into the cutting grooves. It is preferable to use a material with excellent strength so that it can hold the new material.
