Claims (1)
- 横列に並ぶ各シリンダの各吸、排気バルブが共
通の前後２本のカム軸によつて制御され、各シリ
ンダの吸気通路がこの２本のカム軸の間を通つて
シリンダ軸心とほぼ平行に導入された多気筒エン
ジンにおいて、隣接する２つの吸気通路を横切つ
てシリンダヘツドを貫通するカム軸と平行な軸孔
が開設され、その軸孔の両吸気通路間にアイドル
ギア支軸が軸合され、かつ両吸気通路内壁にパイ
プが嵌着されて、上記アイドルギア支軸両端をパ
イプ外面でスラスト方向に拘束し、このアイドル
ギア支軸に回転自在に軸支されたアイドルギアの
両側に、前記前後２本のカム軸に固定されたカム
ドリブンギアが噛み合されたことを特徴とするエ
ンジンのカム軸駆動装置。
