Detailed Description of the Invention [Industrial Application Field] The present invention supplies a lubricant into a cup-shaped body that is driven to rotate at high speed by a rotary drive source such as an air motor and to which a high voltage is applied. The present invention relates to an electrostatic oil application device that atomizes and emits oil using centrifugal force and electrostatic force.

This type of electrostatic oil applicator is mainly used to form a thin oil film on the surface of a strip-shaped plate such as a steel plate, an aluminum plate, or a copper plate. For the purpose of improving machinability or preventing scratches during transportation, the surface is coated with oil particles.

By the way, when performing this type of oiling treatment, it is necessary to take into consideration the reduction of burden when performing secondary processing of the product after the oiling treatment, such as degreasing the oiled object, so that it can be applied evenly with a very small amount of oil. It is desirable to form a thin oil film. In particular, when applying oil to the surface of the steel strip for purposes such as rust prevention in the final process of forming the steel sheet, the amount of lubricant supplied to the cup-shaped body of the electrostatic oil applicator should be 1 c.c./c. It is required to form an extremely thin oil film at a temperature of about 100 min.

However, in conventional electrostatic lubricating devices, when the amount of lubricating agent supplied is relatively large, a constant amount of lubricating agent is always continuously supplied from the lubricating agent supply pipe into the cup-shaped body, and the lubricating agent is continuously supplied to the object to be oiled. However, if the supply rate is less than about 15 c.c./min, for example, droplets of lubricant will form at the tip of the lubricant supply pipe, and once they reach a certain amount, The phenomenon of dropping one drop at a time is repeated, causing an intermittent dripping phenomenon, and the lubricant cannot be continuously supplied to the cup-shaped body, so that the lubricant particles are intermittently emitted from the cup-shaped body. This has a serious drawback in that a so-called breathing phenomenon occurs in the oil application state, resulting in uneven oil application.

In particular, if the lubricant supply rate in the final process of strip steel plate is approximately 1 c.c./min as described above, the time interval between each drop of lubricant being dripped and supplied from the lubricant supply pipe into the cup-shaped body is approximately 10 c.c./min. However, in this case, since the strip steel plate was being conveyed at a high speed of about 1500/min, it was completely impossible to form a uniform thin oil film on the surface of the steel plate.

Therefore, the present applicant filed Japanese Patent Application No. 58-19143,
When the amount of lubricant supplied is small, an atomizing nozzle is provided in the lubricant discharge hole of the lubricant supply pipe, and the lubricant is supplied in the form of particles from the spout of the atomizing nozzle to the cup-shaped body. We have proposed an electrostatic oil applicator that does not cause the breathing phenomenon as described above.

However, when the present inventors conducted further experimental research on the electrostatic oil applicator improved in this way, although the obvious breathing phenomenon was resolved,
The lubricating agent discharged from the spout of the atomizing nozzle is supplied only locally to the inner peripheral surface of the rotating cup-shaped body, and therefore uniformly supplied over the entire inner circumference of the rotating cup-shaped body. Therefore, it is not possible to supply the lubricant in a uniform thin oil film over the entire circumference of the tip of the cup-shaped body that electrostatically atomizes the lubricant, and it is still not possible to obtain a perfect oil film quality. It turns out that there is a problem.

Therefore, in the present invention, the lubricating agent continuously discharged from the atomizing nozzle of the lubricating agent supply pipe is made into finer and more uniform particles by centrifugal force, and then uniformly distributed over the entire circumference of the rotating inner surface of the cup-shaped body. An object of the present invention is to provide an electrostatic oil applicator capable of forming a high-quality thin oil film with significantly better uniformity than conventional ones on the surface of an object to be oiled by supplying an oil film to an object to be oiled.

The released lubricant particles are supplied into the protrusion 12 formed on the back side of the partition wall 6 of the cup-shaped body 4, which is fixed to the rotating shaft 3 and rotated at high speed. The particles are moved to the side, and are further emitted as extremely fine and uniform particles through the slit 13 formed on the circumferential surface of the protruding piece 12,
It is uniformly and continuously supplied to the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 5 over its entire circumference. The lubricating agent supplied in this manner is supplied as a uniform thin film over the entire circumference of the tip of the outer cylinder 5 through the slit 8 due to centrifugal force, and is electrostatically atomized here and applied to the object to be oiled. electrostatically applies the oil to the surface of the object to be oiled.

As described above, according to the above embodiment, the lubricant continuously released in the form of coarse particles by hydraulic or pneumatic pressure from the atomizing nozzle 10 of the lubricant supply pipe 9 is further transferred to the cup which rotates at a high speed of 50,000 rpm. Since the particles are made into extremely fine and uniform particles by the projections 12 of the cup-shaped body 4 and uniformly and continuously supplied over the entire circumference of the rotating inner surface of the outer cylinder 5 of the cup-shaped body 4, a breathing phenomenon occurs. Not only does it not cause uneven oil application, it is also possible to form a thin oil film of high quality and extremely uniformity on the surface of the object to be oiled.

As a result, the lubricant supplied to the partition wall 6 is transferred to the projecting piece 12' side due to centrifugal force, forming a uniform thin oil film over the entire inner circumferential surface of the protruding piece 12', thereby forming the narrow groove 14. Very fine and uniform particles are emitted from the periphery of the tip of the protruding piece 12', and the cup-shaped body 4
It is extremely uniformly and continuously supplied to the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 5 over its entire circumference.

As described above, according to the present invention, a substantially cylindrical protrusion is integrally formed on the back side of the partition wall of the cup-shaped body that is driven to rotate at high speed, and the protrusion piece is integrally formed to protrude from the atomizing nozzle of the lubricant supply pipe. This is because the released lubricant is made into fine and uniform particles from the circumferential surface or periphery of the protruding piece by centrifugal force and is uniformly supplied over the entire circumference of the outer circumferential inner circumferential surface of the cup-shaped body. , the lubricant is continuously supplied in an extremely uniform thin oil film over the entire circumference of the tip of the cup-shaped body,
Therefore, it has the excellent effect of significantly improving the quality of the oil film on the object to be oiled.
