The motorcycle 1 has a front fork 4 which supports a front wheel 5 in a steerable manner via a helad tube (not shown) at the front end of the frame. The illustrated engine is mounted above the fuel tank 11, a seat 12 extends behind the fuel tank 11, and a rear wheel 13 serving as a driving wheel is disposed below the seat 12. In the figure, 8 is a handle pipe that protrudes in the vehicle width direction and steers the front fork 4, 9 is a handle grip provided at the outer end of the handle pipe 8 (only the left side is shown), and 10 is a clutch lever (not shown). There is a brake lever (not shown) on the right side near the grip.

When installed above the handlebar grip, the width of the hips is more R than when viewing the rear from near the shoulders of occupant
The rear view mirror 3 can be moved closer to the center in the width direction of the vehicle body, and therefore the mounting members such as the mounting stay for the rear view mirror 3 can be shortened, reducing the front projected area and reducing the rear view mirror 3. Since the mirror 3 and the vehicle body or windshield to which the rear mirror 3 is attached are close to each other, the mounting rigidity can be improved. Furthermore, since the rear view mirror 3 is located in front of the handle grip 3, there is an advantage that the angle of swing of the occupant's head during forward viewing and rearward viewing can be reduced.
