(b) Industrial application field The present invention is a method for automatically adjusting the handling depth when grain culms pass through the handling barrel of a combine harvester to an appropriate handling depth for long grain culms. The present invention relates to an automatic adjustment device. (b) Prior Art Conventionally, a technique is known in which three long and short culm sensors are arranged above and below, and a grain culm amount sensor is also arranged. For example, there is a technique described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 55-114543. However, this technology uses the value detected by the grain culm amount sensor to correct the value detected by the long and short culm sensor, and does not change the sensing zone for handling depth control based on changes in the grain culm amount. There isn't. (c) Problems that the invention aims to solve In the conventional automatic handling depth adjustment device, the handling depth sensor that detects the position of the tip of the grain culm did not take into account the thickness of the culm layer, so it was difficult to harvest. If the thickness of the grain culm layer to be transported differs depending on the speed, the growth condition of the field, etc., there is a problem that the control is not constant. In other words, the operating timing of the handling depth sensor is different depending on whether the grain culm layer is thick or thin, and when the grain culm layer is thick, the handling depth sensor is controlled too much to the shallow handling side, and when the grain culm layer is thin, it is controlled to the deep handling side. There were too many problems. Therefore, in this invention, in addition to the handling depth sensor, a sensor is provided to measure the thickness of the culm layer. After knowing the thickness by the culm layer thickness sensor, the handling depth sensor moves to the sensing zone. It changes the In other words, when the grain culm layer is thick, the sensor rotates a lot and receives the control signal only when it detects the presence of the culm in the thick layer position, and detects the presence of the grain culm in the thin layer position. However, they ignore it. Conversely, if the grain culm layer is detected to be thin, the sensor will only receive a signal if it detects the presence of the grain culm in a thin layer position, and will not receive a signal even if it detects a signal in a thick layer position. It is something to ignore. (d) Means for solving the problem The purpose of the present invention is as described above. Next, the configuration for achieving the purpose will be explained. A short culm sensor 17, a medium culm sensor 16, and a long culm sensor 15 are placed side by side at the position where the harvested grain culm passes, and the three sensors can be set to a non-contact position, a thin layer position, or a thin layer position depending on the state of contact with the grain culm layer. It is configured to generate signals at three positions including the thick layer position, and the short culm sensor 17 is also used as a grain culm layer sensor, and when the short culm sensor 17 is in the non-contact position, the handling depth control is stopped and the short culm When the sensor 17 is in the thin layer position, it is received as a control signal only when the medium culm sensor 16 and the long culm sensor 15 detect the thin layer position, and when the short culm sensor 17 is in the thick layer position, It is configured to receive a control signal only when the middle culm sensor 16 and the long culm sensor 15 detect the position of a thick layer. (E) Embodiment The purpose and structure of the present invention are as described above. Next, the structure of the embodiment shown in the attached drawings will be explained. FIG. 1 is an overall side view of the combine harvester, FIG. 2 is a front view of the automatic handling depth adjustment device, and FIG. 3 is a front view of the handling depth sensor. In FIG. 1, each device is mounted on a crawler-type traveling device 1, which moves through a field and performs harvesting and threshing operations. A weed cutting board 2 is provided protrudingly at the leading edge, and after the root part of the grain culm is separated from side to side, it is guided to a pulling device 3. While the lodging grain culm is raised with a raising device 3, the base of the stock is harvested with a reaping device 4. After reaping, the stock head portion is transported by the stock head transport device 5 to the lower part of the vertical transport device 7, and then transferred to the vertical transport device 7. The stock base is rapidly lifted by the vertical conveyance device 7, and transferred to the feed chain 8 while adjusting the handling depth. The tip portion is transferred from the raising device 3 to the upper conveying device 6, and after being engaged and conveyed, it is conveyed to the handling drum entrance of the threshing device 9. The handling depth sensor of the present invention is provided at the inlet of the handling cylinder 10. 11 is a control column, and 14 is a sorting device. While the base of the stock is held between the feed chains 8, the tips of the ears are moved and threshed by touching the handling teeth. The waste culm after threshing is conveyed to the waste culm processing device 12 by a waste culm chain 13. In FIGS. 2 and 3, a long culm sensor 15, a medium culm sensor 16, and a short culm sensor 17 are provided side by side at the upper part of the entrance to the handling cylinder 10. They are arranged along the iron plate at the entrance of the handling barrel, and are arranged in the order of short culm sensor 17, medium culm sensor 16, and long culm sensor 15, which are closer to the plant base, and become longer. These sensors determine the position of the tip of the culm, and the direct current motor 2 is used to locate the tip of the culm at an appropriate position.
By converting the rotation of 2, the vertical conveyance device 7 is adjusted in distance with respect to the feed chain 8. The rotation of the motor 22 causes the male screw rod 22a to rotate, thereby forcibly moving the female screw body 23 and rotating the vertical conveyance device 7 via the links 24, 25, and 26. FIG. 4 is a drawing showing the relationship between the long culm sensor 15 and the micro switches 18 and 19, FIG. 5 is a drawing showing the operational relationship of the micro switches, FIG. 6 is a drawing showing a logic table of the logic circuit, and FIG. FIG. 3 is an operational circuit diagram of automatic control. In this embodiment, the short culm sensor 17 and the sensor for sensing the thickness of the grain culm layer serve as the same handling depth sensor. Although FIG. 4 shows the long culm sensor 15 among the handling depth sensors, the other medium culm sensor 16 and short culm sensor 17 have the same structure. Micro switches 18 and 19 are placed facing each other above the pivot shaft 27 of the long culm sensor 15 with a gap between them. As shown in FIG. 5, when there is no or very little flow of the culm, the long culm sensor 15 hangs down as shown by the solid line in FIG. 4, and is in a non-contact position in this case. Micro switch 18 when in non-contact position
is in the OFF state. Then, when a slightly thin layer of culm begins to flow, the handling depth sensor rotates to a first sensing zone that detects the position of the thin layer. During this time, the tip of the sensor is in the space between microswitches 18 and 19, and without touching either microswitch, microswitch 19 is OFF, and microswitch 18 is OFF.
is also OFF. When the collected grain culm layer flows further, it rotates to the second sensing zone for detecting the position of the thick layer, the micro switch 19 is turned OFF, and the micro switch 18 is turned ON. As shown in Figure 3, the short culm sensor 1 is placed side by side.
The three sensors 7, medium culm sensor 16, and long culm sensor 15 are configured to be able to sense the thickness of the culm layer in this way. Of the handling depth sensors, the short culm sensor 17 has micro switches 21 and 41 placed facing each other at a distance, the medium culm sensor 16 has micro switches 20 and 40, and the long culm sensor 15
As mentioned above, micro switches 18 and 19 are placed side by side. As shown in FIG. 7, these micro switches 41, 21, 40, 20, 19, and 18 are ON/
The OFF signal is sent as an input to the logic circuit 33,
The output from the logic circuit 33 determines whether the motor should rotate forward, reverse, or stop; that is, whether the vertical conveyance device 7 should be stopped, rotated to the shallow handling side, or rotated to the deep handling side. An output is output to the A and B terminals as a signal indicating whether or not to rotate. When the ON of the micro switch in Fig. 5 is set to 0 by the inverters 45 and 46, and the OFF is set to 1 and the signal is displayed, the non-contact position is assumed to be "absent" because the grain culm is not flowing, and "absent" is [0.1] It is. In the first state of the thin layer position, the culm layer is thin, so if the sensing zone is defined as "thin", "thin" is [1.1]. In the second state of the thick layer position, since the grain culm is thick, the sensing zone "thickness" is [1.0]. this

ある。The logic table represented by [0] and [1] is shown on the left side of Figure 6, and this is used to display the sensing zone as ``absent'' or ``thin''.
The right diagram in FIG. 6 shows the "thickness". As can be seen from the logic table in FIG. 6, first, when the sensing zone of the short culm sensor 17 is in the "thin" position of the thin layer position using the culm layer sensing sensor placed side by side with the short culm sensor 17, the medium culm sensor 16 The long culm sensor 15 only accepts signals from the sensing zone "thin" as input. Even if the medium culm sensor 16 and the long culm sensor 15 transmit a signal indicating the position of the thick layer, this is not accepted as an error signal. On the contrary, when the sensing zone of the short culm sensor 17 is in the "thick" position of the thick layer, the medium culm sensor 16 and the long culm sensor 15 only accept signals when they are in the "thick" sensing zone. For example, medium culm sensor 16 and long culm sensor 15
Even if it oscillates a signal at the thin layer position, it will not be accepted as an error signal. To explain this, the short culm sensor 17, medium culm sensor 16, and long culm sensor 15 are "thin" and "thin" in that order.
In the case of "thin" or "thick,""thick," and "thick," handling is too deep, so the vertical conveyance device is rotated in the direction of shallow handling. In addition, when the short culm sensor 17 and the medium culm sensor 16 are "thin" or "thin" or "thick" or "thick", the handling depth is appropriate, so even if the H sensor is "thick", The vertical conveyance device does not rotate in either direction, whether it is ``thin'' or ``no''. Moreover, if the short culm sensor 17 is "thin", even if the medium culm sensor 16 and long culm sensor 15 are "thick" or "none", it is treated too shallowly, so it is turned to deep treatment. Also, if the short culm sensor 17 is "thick", the medium culm sensor 16 and long culm sensor 15 are "thin".
Even if it is ``no'' or ``nothing'', it will turn to the side of being taken seriously. In short, it prioritizes the "thick" or "thin""signal" of the short culm sensor 17 sensed by the grain culm layer thickness sensing sensor, that is, the sensing zone, and configures a logic circuit to respond only to this signal. be. The signal determined by this logic circuit is output from the A and B output terminals, enters the switching circuit from the smoothing circuit, operates the switch 37 or the switch 38, and causes the motor 22 to rotate forward, reverse, or stop. 28 is a power battery, 29 is a combine harvester key switch, 30 is a reaping switch, 31 is an automatic switch, 40 is a handling depth adjustment switch for manual operation,
32 is an automatic lamp, 34 is a motor warning lamp,
35, 36 is a limiter that limits the rotation in shallow and deep handling. (f) Effects of the invention Since the invention is constructed as described above, it has the following effects. First, it first senses the thickness of the culm layer, thereby determining whether it is a thin layer position or a thick layer position, thereby determining the kenning zone, and accepting the signal only in this zone. Because of this structure, it is now possible to accurately adjust the handling depth even when the thickness of the grain culm layer varies depending on the field, the degree of growth, and the traveling speed of the machine.
