Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は情報集配信装置に関し特に高速道路での渋滞情
報をカーラジオを通して自動車運転者に通知する装置に
関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種の交通渋滞通知装置はセンサ、カメラ等を
使用し、また上空から情報を収集して人手を介して電光
表示盤に表示を行っていた。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
上述した従来の交通渋滞通知装置の電光表示盤はある間
隔で設置されているため渋滞中では場合によっては自動
車運転者から見ることができず、またオンラインでの情
報でないためリアルタイム性に欠けていた。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明の交通渋滞情報通知装置は高速道路沿いにある間
隔で設置された自動車のスピードを測定する速度計と、
高速道路沿いにある間隔で設置されたカーラジオ向けの
アンテナと、前記速度計およびアンテナと回線で接続し
、前記速度計にて測定した速度情報を処理して渋滞情報
を作成し音声信号に変換してアンテナに向けて送出する
センタ装置とからなる。
〔実施例〕
第１図は本発明の一実施例である。
高速道路１に沿って速度計２があり、自動車の速度を測
定している。この測定情報を即時に回線４を経由してセ
ンタ装置５に送出する。センタ装置５では渋滞として判
別できるあらかじめ定めた速度を設定してあり各測定点
から入力する測定情報を前記設定情報と比較する。この
比較で各測定点の測定情報が設定情報より連続的に下回
る時、渋滞と判断し連続点の数から渋滞距離を算出する
。
この渋滞距離をもって渋滞情報を作成し音声に変換して
回線４を経由して各アンテナ３に送出する。各アンテナ
３から発信された電波を自動車のカーラジオで受信して
運転者に渋滞情報を音声で通知する。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように本発明は高速道路での交通渋滞を即
時に正確にカーラジオを通じて運転者に通知されるので
渋滞中のイライラがなくなるとともに、このまま高速道
を進むかまたは一般道にお−りるかの判断材料提供にも
なる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 道路沿いにある間隔で設置された自動車のスピードを測
    定する速度計と、前記速度計で測定した測定情報を送出
    する回線と、交通渋滞と判別できるあらかじめ定めた渋
    滞速度を設定しておき、前記測定情報をとり込みいくつ
    かの測定点が連続的に前記渋滞速度を下まわる場合に連
    続点の数から距離を算出して渋滞情報を作成し音声情報
    に変換するセンタ装置とを備え、前記音声情報を回線を
    経由して高速道路沿いに、ある間隔で設置されたカーラ
    ジオ向のアンテナに送出し、前記アンテナから運転者に
    音声で渋滞情報を通知することを特徴とする交通渋滞情
    報通知装置。
