製造上のトラブルが多くて電気接触子2の製造の
自動ラインに於けるスピードアツプを妨げてい

る成形パンチ10にてリベツト接点9の平坦な頭
部9aを球面状に成形すると同時に脚部9bの端
部をかしめポンチ8にて接点取付穴4の周縁に本

4図bに示す如く挿通してその脚部9bの端部を

ング端子材3を次位置に送つて第4図cに示す如
く球面状の凹部10aを有する成形パンチ10に
てリベツト接点9の平坦な頭部9aを直径2.4mm、
高さ1.2mmに球面状に成形すると同時に脚部9b
の端部をかしめポンチ8にて接点取付穴4の周縁
に本かしめし、直径2mm、厚さ0.51mmのかしめ部

かようにして得られた実施例及び従来例の球型
接点1付電気接触子各100個について品質検査し
たところ、実施例の電気接触子では不良品が皆無
であつたのに対し、従来例の電気接触子では球型

度(かしめ強度、捻回強度)が極端に低いものな
どの不良品が13個あつた。これはひとえに突上げ
ピン5にてリベツト接点7を押上げた際、頭部7
aが球面状である為不安定で傾いた状態で脚部7
bが無理に接点取付穴4に挿通されてその端部が

気接触子の製造方法によれば、間欠的に送られて
くるスプリング端子材の接点取付穴に下方より下
型の穴部に嵌合して平坦な上部を有する突上げピ
ンにてリベツト接点を押上げた際、頭部が平坦で
ある為、リベツト接点は安定して傾くことが無い
ので、その中心をスプリング端子材の接点取付穴
に一致させて、リベツト接点の脚部を接点取付穴
にスムーズに挿通させることができる。また接点
取付穴に挿通したリベツト接点の脚部の端部を仮
かしめするので、スプリング端子材の移送時のリ
ベツト接点の脱落を防止できる。さらに平坦な頭
部を球面状に成形すると同時に脚部の端部を本か
しめするので、得られる球型接点はスプリング端
子材の両面でかしめ止めされて取付強度が向上す
る。従つて球型接点の接点取付穴との芯ずれ、偏
り、取付強度(かしめ強度、捻回強度)の極端な
低下等の無い品質良好な球型接点付電気接触子を
得ることができると共に、製造上のトラブルの発
生も無くなり、電気接触子の製造の自動ラインに
於けるスピードアツプを図ることができるという

球面状に成形すると同時に脚部の端部をかしめポ
ンチにて接点取付穴の周縁に本かしめすることを
