Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は全く新規な模様印刷方法に関するもの
で、スクリーン印刷の方式により拓本の原理を利
用して網点のない模様印刷を得ることを特徴とす
るものである。
従来、色彩を有する木目状の印刷やぼかし印刷
を行なうには、写真製版の原理に基き、網点にて
印刷する必要があつた。
しかし、いかに網点を小さくしてもそれには限
度があり、まつたく網点のないぼかしは不可能で
あつた。また網点を使用しない場合は色を重ね合
すことが必要であつた。
本発明はスクリーン印刷の方式により、一度に
木目状その他の模様印刷やぼかし印刷が行なえる
もので、一色による印刷ではあるが独特の濃淡や
ぼかし部分を有する全く網点のない模様印刷が得
られるものである。
本発明方法の原理は第１図に示すように、版と
して表面に浅い凹凸を有する銅版、エツチング
版、感光樹脂版、木版等のうちいずれかの版１を
用い、その上面に被印刷物として紙または合成樹
脂フイルム等の可撓性を有する印刷シート２を載
置し、その上部からシルクスクリーン３を用いて
インキを一定圧力をかけながらスキーシー４にて
塗布するものである。
この際、シート２にはシルクスクリーン印刷の
原理により、スクリーン３より一定の圧力にて押
し出されたインキは版１の凹部分にかかる時、シ
ート２をインキの圧力により凹部に押しつけるこ
とになり、インキの付着量は多くなるためインキ
の濃度は濃くなる。また凸部についてはインキの
付着量が少ないため濃度は淡くなり、あたかも版
１表面の凹凸の拓本をとるような状態になり、凹
凸の形状に則した模様が形成される。そしてこの
凹凸による模様の輪郭はグラデーシヨン状のぼか
し状態となり、一色刷りではあるが特殊なグラデ
ーシヨンのある模様が得られるものである。
そして本発明方法により印刷された印刷表面に
は、従来のグラビア印刷のような網点、ます目が
なく、何倍の拡大にも耐え得る美的な表現が可能
なものである。
本発明方法による印刷は全ゆる印刷物に利用で
きるもので、壁紙や包装紙その他の模様印刷に適
用可能である。
本発明は上述の如き簡単な原理を利用したもの
で、工数が大幅に軽減され、コストも安価な網点
のない模様印刷物が得られ、産業利用性の高いも
のである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 表面に凹凸のある銅版、エツチング版、感光
    樹脂版、木版等を用い、その上面に可撓性を有す
    る印刷シートを乗せ、この印刷シートの上面から
    シルクスクリーン印刷を行なうことを特徴とする
    拓本の原理を利用した模様印刷方法。
