Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a working time, by cooling a skin material while subjecting the same to vacuum molding in a method for preparing a composite molded object by subjecting the skin material to vacuum molding and, after cooling, laminating a resin for a base material to the molded one under pressure. CONSTITUTION:In a mold 10 consisting of a core 10a and a female mold 10b, a skin material 12 obtained by laminating a skin layer 12b to a cushion layer 12a composed of a foam layer is preheated to be set to the female mold 10b. The female mold 10b is connected to a vacuum pressure reducing apparatus to be constituted so as to capable of vacuum molding. After clamping, the skin material 12 is subjected to press molding and a molding cavity is connected to the vacuum pressure reducing apparatus by opening an opening and closing valve 22 and degassed to perform vacuum molding. At the same time, cooling air is blown to the skin material 12 through the blowing device 24 connected to a blower to cool the same. Continuously, the mold is opened and the space above the skin material 12 is filled with a molten resin 34 for base material and the mold is subsequently again clamped to perform pressurization. As a result of simultaneously cooling the core even at this point of time through the blowing device 24, a molding cycle can be further shortened.

In this method, the skin material and base resin are set in a pair of molds consisting of a core mold and a female mold, and then the molds are closed and pressurized to integrate the two to obtain a laminated material. There is. When the skin material and the base material are simultaneously molded in the mold as described above, the skin material and the base material are molded in a heated state, so that the skin material may be damaged. Therefore, in the past, a vacuum forming method has been adopted, and after the mold is opened, the skin material is cooled using a fan or the like.

To explain below, as shown in FIG. 1(a), the core mold 1
In a mold 10 consisting of a mold 0a and a female mold 10b, a skin material 12 is set on the female mold 10b. As shown in the enlarged view, the skin material 12 is made by laminating a cushion layer 12a made of a foam layer or the like and a skin layer 12b.
Cef 1□ on b. The material for the cushion layer is polypropylene foam, polyurethane foam, polyethylene foam, vinyl chloride foam, etc., and the material for the skin layer is vinyl chloride.
The lower part of the pipe 16 is connected to a vacuum decompression device (not shown) via a pipe 16, and the pipe 16 communicates with the molding cavity 18 via a ventilation channel 20, and an on-off valve 22 is provided in the middle thereof. The structure is such that vacuum forming is possible.

Next, as shown in FIG. 6B, the mold is closed and pressure molded, and the on-off valve 22 is opened to connect the molding cavity 18 to a vacuum decompression device to degas it, and the skin material 12 is vacuum-formed.
While blending it into the mold, stamp the grain etc. At the same time, the air blower 24 formed in the core part of the core mold 1゜a
The skin material is cooled by blowing cold air through it. 2 and 3 are explanatory sectional views showing the details of this blower device 24, and as shown in FIG. 2, the blower device 24 includes a main air passage 240 connected to a blower (not shown) and It is equipped with five sub-air channels 241 branching from the sub-air channels 241.
As shown in FIG. 3, a sleeve 242 is fitted near its open end, and an air vent valve 243 is provided inside. The air vent valve 243 has a flat circular spring retainer 244 attached near the tip of its stem portion.
A spring 246 is elastically loaded between the lower surface of the air vent valve 243 and a shoulder 245 protruding from the sleeve 242, and biases the air vent valve 243 in the closing direction. Therefore, the cold air sent from the blower acts on the spring retainer 244,
When the pressure overcomes the spring force, the air vent valve 243 separates from the valve seat formed on the inner peripheral edge of the sleeve 242 and is pushed outward as shown by the imaginary line, and cold air is blown out as shown by the arrow, causing the air vent valve 243 to move upwards onto the female mold 10b. skin material 12
to cool down.

Returning to FIG. 1, the features of the manufacturing method according to the present invention are shown in FIG.
As shown in b), the molding cycle is shortened by cooling simultaneously with vacuum forming. This point will be explained in comparison with the conventional technique shown in FIG. 4. As shown in Fig. 4(b'), the mold was closed and vacuum formed, and then the mold was opened and cooled using a fan 30 (Fig. 4(b''). Therefore, in the present invention, Figure 1 (C) can shorten the molding cycle by the cooling time after opening the mold.
), the mold is opened again, and the base material resin 32, which has been heated to about 190°C and melted, is loaded onto the skin material 12, and then the mold is closed again as shown in the same figure (d). and pressurize. The resin for this base material is polypropylene, ABS
etc., as appropriate. It should be noted that in the molding of this base material part, it is also cooled by applying pressure, but in the molding method according to the present invention, even at this point, as a result of simultaneous cooling via the core-type air blower 24, the molding cycle is further reduced. can be shortened.

Then, by opening the mold and taking it out, a composite molded body 40 as shown in FIG. 4(e) can be obtained. In this composite molded product, a base material 42 made of stretched molten resin is laminated on a skin material 12 consisting of a cushion layer 12a and a skin layer 12b, and such a molded product is used as an automobile door lining. When used as a vehicle, the base material 42 is attached to an inner panel (not shown), and the skin layer 10b is exposed to the indoor side.
