【考案の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本考案は被熱物を間接加熱する横型マツフル炉
に関するものである。

[従来の技術および問題点] 横型マツフル炉は周知のとおり断熱炉体内に長
手の筒状マツフルを配置し、該マツフル中に被熱
物を搬送させ、該マツフルの外側に設けたバーナ
または電気ヒータにより該被熱物を間接加熱する
ものであるが、この横型マツフル炉内に配置され
るマツフルは、従来、耐熱鋼製のものであつて、
第4図に示したような遠心鋳造品、あるいは、第
5図に示したような波型(コルゲート)加工した
圧延材による成形品が用いられている。ところで
このような従来の耐熱鋼製のマツフルによれば、
マツフル自体が炉内の高温度の雰囲気ガスにより
直接加熱されるためクリープ現象を起こし、自重
に耐え切れずに徐々に変形し長期間の使用に耐え
得ないものであつた。ちなみに第4図の遠心鋳造
マツフルで耐用年数が1〜1.5年、第5図のコル
ゲートマツフルで同2〜2.5年とされていた。一
方マツフルの材料を従来の耐熱鋼に代えてより耐
熱、高温クリープ特性に優れたものを使うことも
考えられるが、例えばカーボン製やセラミツクス
製のマツフルとなると非常に高価なものとなり、
また、これらの材料は炉内のバーナ燃焼によるガ
スが酸化性のものであるために酸化により減肉を
起こしてやはり長期間の使用に耐え得ない問題が
ある。

8を該マツフル2の長手方向適当間隔置きに適数
配置する。9は該各スリーブ8,8……の横ズレ
を防止するためマツフル2の内周面に突設した止
ピンを示す。

さらされることはなく、したがつてスリーブ8が
酸化減肉していく心配もない。したがつてマツフ
ル2は長期間に亘つて一定形状が維持される。ち
なみに第4図に示した従来の遠心鋳造マツフルに
適用した場合で耐用年数が3〜6年と約3〜4倍
に延長され、また、第5図に示したコルゲートマ
ツフルに適用した場合で同4〜5年と約2倍に延
長されることが期待できる。
