Generally, what is required of a high-voltage relay terminal is that there is no risk of sparks or leaks between the terminal electrodes or with the surroundings, and that quality is sufficiently guaranteed in terms of aging and safety. Conventional relay terminals meet these conditions by arranging a terminal electrode on an insulating substrate with a sufficiently wide space and creepage distance, and covering the outside of this electrode with a protective cover, or by using a bare terminal. Although electrodes have been coated with insulating agents such as silicone rubber to improve their voltage resistance, these methods have drawbacks such as being bulky and difficult to handle, and being limited to special applications and lacking in versatility. It was hot.

1A and 1B are an exploded perspective view and a vertical sectional view of a high voltage relay terminal including wiring according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the terminal portion is covered with a lid 1 made of a high-voltage insulating material such as Teflon or vinyl chloride, and a hollow insulating member 3, and an internal relay portion 2 inserted therein is made of an insulating material. and conductor. In the figure, this internal relay part 2 has a through hole 11 in the center of the round bar insulator.
It is equipped with screw 6 and spring washer 7.
This is a portion where wiring terminals 5 attached to each end of the wiring 4 are fixed to both ends of the through hole 11 by nuts 8. These wirings 4 are structured so that they are drawn out along wiring guide grooves 9 of the relay section 2. Further, this internal relay section 2 is inserted into a hollow insulating member 3 that is closed at one end and provided with grooves 10 for drawing out wires on both sides. A lid 1 is screwed into the open end of the insulating member 3 to seal the inside and to fix the wiring 4.

FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of the high voltage relay terminals of this embodiment mounted side by side on the mounting board 13. The side wall thickness t 1 of the hollow insulating member 3, the dimension t 4 from the inner bottom to the wiring lead-out groove 10, the dimension t 5 of the fitting part between the upper lid 1 and the hollow insulating member 3, etc. are based on the thickness of the insulating material used. The distance t 3 is determined in consideration, and the thickness t 2 of the upper lid 1 is determined in consideration of the distance t 6 from the upper substrate 12.

As a result, both the creepage distance 1 from the electrode portion of the wiring terminal 5 to the mounting board 13 and the creepage distance 2 between the wiring terminal electrodes are sufficiently ensured. or,
Since the electrode part of the wiring terminal 5, the connecting screw 6, and the nut 8 have an internally sealed structure, it is possible to prevent accidents due to short circuits or loosening of the wiring at the connecting part.
High reliability against changes over time.

Therefore, it is possible to arrange a plurality of relay terminals of this embodiment close to each other or in contact with each other, and the mounting area can be made very small. Further, since the wiring connection work can be done outside by taking out the internal relay section 2 in advance, the workability is very good.
