本考案の電気コネクタは、ハウジングの両側端
面にそれぞれ、内部の間隙内に可撓性のブリツジ
を備えたブラケツト挿入固定部を設け、このブラ
ケツト挿入固定部に、ブラケツトの挿入方向に沿
つて起立したブラケツトの起立部を圧入して前記
コネクタにブラケツトを装着させるとともに、前
記ブラケツト挿入固定部内に設けられた係止部、
ガイド部および位置規定部によつてコネクタとブ
ラケツトをガタつくことなく固着させることを特
徴とするものである。前記ブラケツト挿入固定部
は、前記ハウジングの両側端面と平行に、前記両
側端面に固設された外壁板によつて前記ブラケツ
トの起立部が挿入されるための間隙を形成してお
り、この外壁板のハウジング側の内壁面とこの内
壁面に対向するハウジングの側端面にそれぞれ内
方に向つて凸である一対の可撓性ブリツジを備え
ている。さらにこのブリツジの少なくとも一方の
表面には、前記ブラケツトの起立部に設けられた
係止部と係合するように設けられた係止部が備え
られている。また前記ガイド部は、前記ブラケツ
トの起立部の前後方向の幅と等しいかやや狭い間
隔をおいて、起立部の前後端縁に接してこの起立
部を案内するように、前記ハウジングの側端面と
前記外壁板の内壁面との間に上下に離れて2対設
けられている。なおここで起立部の前後方向の幅
と等しいかやや狭い間隔とは、前記起立部がガイ
ド部を押圧しつつ圧入することのできる間隔を示

定部2の内部の構造は第2図および第3図に示す
ように、まずハウジング1の側端面1aと一体的
に設けられ、該側端面から垂直方向に延びたガイ
ド部4A,4A′および支持部6,6′を足として
前記側端面1aと平行になるように支持された外
壁板7が前記起立部3aが挿入可能な空隙を形成
している。この外壁板7の内壁面7aおよびこの
内壁面7aに対向するハウジングの側端面1aに
はそれぞれ内方に向かつて凸である可撓性ブリツ
ジ8,8′が設けられている。一対の前記ガイド
部4A,4A′は前記起立部3aの前後方向(第
2図中矢印B方向)の幅と等しいかやや狭い間隔
をおいて設けられており、起立部3aはまず第1
のガイド部4A,4A′に、続いてブリツジ8,
8′に1つづつ、ガイド部4A,4A′と同じ間隔
をあけて設けられた第2のガイド部4B,4
B′に案内されつつ前記ブリツジ8,8′を押圧し
て撓めながらブラケツト挿入固定部2内に挿入さ
れる。このブリツジ8の表面には突起状の係止部
5が設けられており、一方起立部3aにはこの係
止部5と係合するような係止部3bが設けられて
いるので、ブリツジの係止部5と起立部の係止部
3bは互いに係合して起立部3aが挿入方向と逆
方向に抜けることを防止する。さらに前記ブラケ
ツト3には溝部3dを介して前記起立部3aと同
方向に起立した起立片3cが設けられており、前
記溝部3dは下方に向つてその幅が漸減し、前記
係止部5および係止部3bが係合した位置まで起
立部3aが挿入された位置で前記ガイド部4Aの
両下端が溝部3dと接するようになつている。ま
た前記起立部3aの前記溝部3dと反対側には段
部3eが形成されており、起立部3aが上記の位
置まで挿入された時に前記ガイド部4A′と接す
