Abstract

PURPOSE:To lessen load applied to a punch driving motor, to reduce the capacity of the motor and to completely avoid shifting of a punched hole by shifting of punching timing of at least three punch pins from one another. CONSTITUTION:A set of recording paper F supplied sheet by sheet from the outside are put one on top the other and held in the supply order on a die. In such a condition, the recording paper is punched by up-and-down motion of at least three punch pins 56a, 56b, 56c. At this time, by operation of eccentric blocks 54a, 54b, 54c, the phases of up-and-down motions of three pins are shifted, so that the recording paper is punched by the punch pin 66c mounted on one end portion first, secondly the recording paper is punched by the punching pin 56a mounted at the other end portion, and then the recording paper is punched by the punch pin 56b mounted in the central portion. Thus, punching timings of three punches 56a, 56b 56c are shifted from one another, whereby load applied to a punch driving motor can be lessened, and furthermore, with the recording paper pressed and clamped by the punch pins, punching is executed so as to punch the recording paper without difference in position.

When creating conference materials, distribution materials, etc. from materials recorded by a recording device such as a copying device, it is necessary to align, fold, punch, or bind the materials after recording, and these processes can be automated. The idea is to improve the efficiency of total copying work by doing this. To achieve this purpose, processing devices have been proposed that have functions such as sorters for sorting copies, automatic punching devices, automatic paper folding machines, automatic collating machines, or a combination of these functions (for example, special JP-A No. 61-94180, JP-A-61-84662, Journal of the Electrophotographic Society Vol. 24, No. 3 (1985), pp. 188-194). By the way, a series of recorded materials is usually used and stored in a stable manner or bound in a file.
Conventionally, no processing device has been proposed that can simultaneously perform hole punching and stapling for processing recorded materials. Therefore, the present inventors have proposed an invention application entitled "Recording Paper Processing Apparatus" dated January 23, 1985, which includes an intermediate holding section that holds a set of recording papers supplied one by one from the outside in a stacked manner in the order in which they are supplied; A processing unit that selectively punches or staples a set of recording sheets held in the intermediate holding section at the holding position; a storage section that stores processed recording sheets; and a storage section that stores unprocessed recording sheets. proposed a recording paper processing device comprising a first conveyance means for conveying the recording paper to the intermediate holding section and a second conveyance means for conveying the processed recording paper to the storage section. If this processing device is used in combination with a recording device such as an electrophotographic copying device, sets of records can be automatically punched and stapled, making it convenient for creating materials for conferences, materials for distribution, etc. . In this type of processing device, a motor-driven punch machine is used for punch processing, but the load applied to the punch pin of the punch machine during punch processing is quite large, and as the number of recorded materials increases and becomes thicker, the load becomes even greater. The capacity of the motor must be increased accordingly. For the above reasons, the inventors of the present invention
In the invention application "Recording paper processing device", the purpose is to reduce the capacity of the motor for driving the punch machine of the recording paper processing device that automates the punching and binding operations of recording paper, and in order to achieve this purpose. proposed a recording paper processing device configured to shift the phase of the vertical movement of a plurality of bunch pins of a punching machine that performs punch processing.

By the way, in general, when punching a recording sheet, there are cases in which punch holes are punched in two places, cases in which holes are punched in three or four places. In the case of two punch holes, the purpose of reducing the capacity of the motor for driving the punching machine can be achieved by simply shifting the phases of the vertical movements of the two punches of the punching machine. However, when there are three or more punch holes, another problem arises because the phases of the vertical movements between the punch pins are shifted. For example, when a bunch pin starts punching a hole in recording paper, a force is applied between the punch pin and the die that presses and clamps the recording paper, fixing the recording paper, but when the hole is finished punching and the punch pin is removed, the recording paper moves together with the punch pin in the direction to remove the punch pin. Therefore, for example, the order in which the three punch pins are driven is the punch pin in the center, then the punch pin at one end, and then the punch pin at the other end, and the vertical movement of each punch pin is driven sequentially with the phase shifted. This has the drawback that when the punch pin at the other end begins to punch a hole, the recording paper is pulled and curved by the punch pin at the center, and the hole that is punched by the punch pin at the other end shifts from the specified position. It was something that I had.

The present invention will be explained below based on the drawings. The processing device illustrated next is a copy paper processing device used in combination with a copying device, and as shown in FIG. . Before explaining the copy paper processing apparatus 1, which is the object of the present invention, the copying apparatus 2 will be briefly explained. A copy paper processing device to which the present invention is applicable is a copy manuscript consisting of a plurality of sheets (for example, five sheets from page 1 to page 5 of a book).
Because it is used to copy at least one copy of a document, punch it, and bind it, the copying device has the function of repeatedly copying multiple copies of a document in sequence. Therefore, a circulating automatic document feeder (hereinafter referred to as an RDH device) is used as a device for this purpose. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the copying apparatus 2 is equipped with an RDH device 3 on the top, and is configured to copy originals fed one by one by the RDH device 3 using a normal electrophotographic process. ing. The general structure and function of the copying device 2 and the RDH device 3 are already known and will be briefly described. The RDH device 3 is installed on a platen glass IO provided on the top surface of the copying device 2. A plurality of originals to be copied are stacked face up on the original placing plate 11 in the order of the first page, second page, . . . from the top. The document placement sensor RS indicates that the document is placed on the document placement plate 11.
, detected by. Here, when the copy button provided on the operation panel of the copy bag fii2 is pressed, the RDH device 3
The rear end regulating plate 12 moves forward and the entire document tray is pushed forward (rightward in the figure), and the gate 1 on the front passage is pushed out.
3 rises. When the document passes through the gate 13 and advances a little, the document leading edge detection sensor R5 detects the leading edge of the document, the trailing edge regulating plate 12 stops, the gate 13 lowers, and the trailing edge regulating plate 12 retreats. . When the copying device 2 outputs a document feed signal at a predetermined timing, the half-moon-shaped feed roller 1' rotates four times, and the double-feed prevention roller 15 rotates to remove the lowest document. Only one person is sent out. The sent document advances along the guide plate 16 and is sent by the feed roller 17.
The leading edge is detected by timing sensor R3, and the conveyor belt 1
8 and moves over the platen glass 10 of the copying device 2 at a predetermined speed. Below the platen glass 1O is an optical system 19 consisting of a lamp for illuminating the document, a reflecting mirror, etc.
is provided, and the original is exposed to light while being moved by this optical system 19. When a document leading edge detection signal from the timing sensor RS is sent to the copying device 2, feeding of the transfer paper starts within the copying device 2. The exposed original is detected by the paper ejection sensor R3, and then transferred to another conveyor belt 20.
, and is placed on the remaining originals placed on the original placing plate 11 . The final discharge of the document is detected by the circulation discharge sensor R3. If a jam occurs while feeding the original,
This can be determined by the detection timing of the timing sensor RS and the discharge sensor R54. Feeding of the second document starts when the trailing edge of the first document is detected by the timing sensor RS3. In the same manner, when the exposure by the optical system of the copying device is completed for all original documents, such as the third, fourth, etc., the document leading edge detection sensor R5 confirms that the number of original documents is 0,
In this way, the feeding of the original for one portion of the copy is completed. If a plurality of copies (for example, five copies) of the same copy are to be made, the document is automatically fed again sequentially from the last page, and exposure is performed sequentially up to the first page. This document feeding operation is repeated for the required number of copies. In synchronization with the above operation of the RDH device 3, the following electrophotographic process is performed within the copying device 2. When a document passing at a constant speed over the platen glass 10 of the copying device 2 is exposed to light by the optical system 19, the reflected light from the document is reflected by the mirror 20, lens 21, . The light is projected onto the photoreceptor 23 via the mirror 22. The surface of the photoreceptor 23 is charged by the charging device 2
4, an electrostatic latent image is formed when reflected light from the document is projected. The electrostatic latent image is developed into a visible image by the developing device 25, and is then applied onto the transfer paper P fed from one of the paper feed cassettes 26, 27, and 28 in synchronization with the automatic feeding operation of the original. is transferred by the transfer device 29. The transfer paper on which the visible image has been transferred is transferred to the photoreceptor 2 by a separating device.
3, is conveyed by a conveyor belt 30, is fixed by a fixing device 31, and is discharged from the apparatus by a discharge roller 32. A cleaning device 33 removes toner remaining on the surface of the photoreceptor 23 after the transfer paper is separated. The copying device performs single-sided copying from a single-sided original. Although the simplest model is shown as an example, the recording paper processing device of the present invention is not limited to this type of copying device. Of course, it is also possible to use it in combination with a type of copying apparatus that performs single-sided copying or double-sided copying. In order to perform these types of copying, it is necessary to invert the original or invert the transfer paper, and the copying device 2 and RDH device 3 need a mechanism for this, but these mechanisms are already known. Since this is not the gist of the present invention, the explanation will be omitted here. As shown in FIG. 1, the copy paper processing device 1 according to the present invention has a copy paper processing device 1, as shown in FIG. A conveying roller 44 conveys the copy F to an intermediate plate 43 called a stacker by switching the route switching gate 42 for punching or binding, and a conveying roller 44 that conveys the copy F to an intermediate tray 43 called a stacker for punching or binding. A processing unit 45 that punches holes in copies F equivalent to a set and staples them together, and conveyance rollers 47 and 48 that conveys the punched, stapled, etc. copies F to a final storage tray 46. It is composed of. The processing unit 45 consists of one punch machine and two staplers (so-called staplers) placed on both sides of the punch machine. It can be pulled out perpendicularly to the front of the page). This is to facilitate the disposal of punch residue used as a result of punch processing by the punch machine, the loading or replenishment of staples (so-called stable) in the binding machine, or the removal of jammed staples. The storage tray 46 is a discharge tray on which the processed copies F are placed. Next, the structure of a copy paper processing apparatus employing the processing unit according to the present invention will be described in detail. FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the main parts of the copy paper processing device.
The rollers 41a, 41b, 41c, and 41d constitute the conveyance roller 41 together with other rollers (not shown). The path switching gate 42 is driven by a solenoid SD, and when the solenoid SD is not energized, the copy is transferred to the paper discharge tray 40. Take the first position to transport the solenoid SD. When is energized, it assumes a second position for transporting copies to the stacker 43. The rollers 44a and 44b are the conveyance rollers 4
4. The stacker 43 includes an inclined plate 43a, a pair of side plates 43b1 and 43b2 that are slidably provided on the upper surface of the inclined plate 43a so that the mutual interval can be adjusted, and a stopper 43c that is provided directly below the inclined plate 43a so as to be movable back and forth. Consists of k. The inclined plate 43a has a plurality of openings 431a, 431b, and 431c formed near the front end, and a plurality of openings 431c near the center, as shown in FIG. Two slots 432a and 432b are formed to extend laterally, and a ventilation hole 43 is provided near the rear.

An optical sensor (side plate home position sensor) ps is provided to detect the home position, and detects the home position by detecting light shielding by the rising piece 437a of the metal fitting 437. With such a configuration, when the side plate interval adjustment motor M rotates forward or reverse by various amounts, the sliding members 436a, 43 rotate accordingly.
6b moves by a predetermined length in the direction of the solid line arrow or broken line arrow, and as a result, the side plates 43b+ and 43b move away from each other to widen the gap between the side plates, or move closer to each other to narrow the gap between the side plates. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a motor M8 and a duct 439 for driving a ventilation fan are attached near the ventilation hole 433 on the back side of the inclined plate 43a. Next, the stopper 43c will be explained. As shown in FIG. 4, the stopper 43c includes a plurality of protrusions 440 extending forward like fingers, two protrusions 441 whose tips are bent upward to form an upright piece 441a, and a wide protrusion 442 in the center. It consists of a plate material 443 having a shape, and bins 444 extend on both left and right sides of this plate material 443. This bottle 444 is a groove 4 provided on the side surface of a resin guide 445 (only the left guide is shown) that is fixed to the frame of the device on both the left and right sides of the plate 443.
45a. Further, a drive rod 446 extending rearward is attached to the center of the plate 443, and teeth 446a formed on one side in the longitudinal direction of the drive rod 446 mesh with a pinion 447. The binion 447 is rotated forward or reverse by a motor (stopper drive motor) M7.
Accordingly, the drive rod 446 moves between the rollers 448 and the guide rod 44.
When the plate 44 moves straight in the direction of the arrow while being guided by the plate 44
3, the bins 444 on both sides are in the groove 445a of the guide 445.
The robot moves forward and backward in the direction of its own arrow. The stopper 43c is a protrusion 440.44 of the plate material 443.

It is arranged in a positional relationship such that it passes through and projects above the inclined plate 43a. In the forward position of the plate 443, two of the plurality of protrusions 441 protrude from the openings 431b onto the inclined plate 43a, and the upright pieces 44
1a has a stopper function to stop a copy that slides down on the inclined plate 43a at a certain position. As shown in FIG. 2, the processing unit 45 has a frame 45b that can be pulled out by a guide rail 45a (in the direction indicated by the self-arrow in the figure), and has a punch machine and two staplers on both sides of the frame 45b. The main parts are explained in the fifth section.
As shown in the figure. As can be seen from FIG. 5, a punching machine 50 is fixed to the center of the frame 45b, and two binding machines are movably provided on both sides of the punching machine 50, but only one of them is shown in the figure. 60, it is shown in a state where it is removed from the frame 45b. The punch machine 50 includes a worm gear 51 that can be reciprocated by a motor (punch drive motor) M, a gear 53 that is supported by a holder 52 and rotates in mesh with the ohm gear 51, and a rotary shaft on both sides of the gear 53. Three eccentric blocks 54a, 54b, 54c fixed in a positional relationship shifted by an angle of 56 degrees and the eccentric blocks 54a, 5

56b and 56c are positioned slightly lower than the highest position, and the tips of the three bottles are pin guides 52a. Since the punched pieces of paper are designed to fit into the insides of 52b and 52c, the punched pieces of paper will surely come out of the bin. The punch scraps are stored in a case detachably attached to the lower side of the horizontal table 55c. On the other hand, on the frame 45b of the processing unit 45, two sliding members 57 and 58 having teeth formed on their opposing longitudinal side edges are provided in parallel.
.. A gear (not shown) that meshes with 58 teeth is provided, and this gear is rotated forward or reverse by a motor (lIIi locking machine drive motor) M. Fixing plates 59a and 59b for attaching a binding machine are fixed near the ends of the sliding members 57 and 58, and the sliding members 57 are rotated by the rotation of the motor M.
.. When 58 moves in the direction of the arrow, the fixed plate 59a. 59b is also guided by a guide rail 453 provided on the frame 45b and moves from side to side, and the stapler 60 fixed thereto moves laterally. As shown in FIG. 5, the stitching machine 60 transmits the rotation of a motor (stitching machine drive motor) M to an eccentric crank (not shown) via gears 61 and 62, and rotates the lever 63 slowly. Change to linear reciprocating motion. When the lever 63 reciprocates, the V-shaped lever 64 rotates around the fulcrum A, causing the lever 65 to rotate. When the lever 65 is lowered, the spring 66 is compressed via the U-shaped push-down piece 67, thereby pushing the thin plate 68 down along the guide 69. As a result, one of the binding metals filled in the cartridge 70 is separated by the thin plate 68, and is further pressed to staple the pieces of paper (a plurality of copies) placed on the binding table 71. Such a binding machine 60 is installed on the frame 45b by fixing the mounting plate 72 attached to the bottom surface to the fixing plates 59a and 59b. In this way, the processing unit 45 has a punching machine 50 in the center and binding machines 60 on both sides thereof arranged on the same frame 45b, and the entire unit can be moved forward in the direction indicated by the white arrow by the handle 453 (see Fig. 3). It can be pulled out. If punch residue accumulates in the case 55d or the binding of the binding machine 60 is jammed, use the handle 4.
53 and pull out the processing unit 45 toward you, processing can be performed quickly. FIG. 6 shows a feeding mechanism for feeding copies punched or stapled by the stacker 43 to the next conveying means, which is an essential part of the present invention. A U-shaped support plate 450 is attached to the lower center of the plate 443 of the stacker 43, and supports the guide rod 449, and a bottle 451 extends horizontally from the side of the support plate 450. This pin 451 engages in a slot 452a formed in one end of the bending lever 452. The other end of the bending lever 452 is loosely connected to one end of a rotating V-shaped bar 461 of a roller unit 460. In the roller unit 460, a feed-out roller 462 is rotatably provided in the center of this bending lever 452, and this feed-out roller 462 is connected to a motor M+ via two rollers 463o and 464 and a belt 465 stretched between them.
It is rotated by a shaft 466 rotated by a (copy paper conveyance motor). In other words, when stacking, the stopper 43c engages with the openings 431a, 431b, and 431c, and the protrusion 441
The copy is stopped at the upright piece 441a, and when transported after processing, the stopper 43c is moved back and the feed roller 462 is projected onto the inclined plate 43a to send out the processed copy. FIG. 7 shows a paper presser bar and its driving mechanism for holding down a plurality of copies placed on the stamper 43 near the punched portion or the stapled portion prior to punching or binding. The paper holding bar 80 is a long metal bar with a sponge 80a stretched on its lower surface, and is loosely and slidably suspended by a bar 81 in a central elongated hole. The bar 81 is attached to the frame 8 so that it can swing like a seesaw with B as a fulcrum.
2, and one end is in contact with the circumferential surface of an eccentric cam 83 rotated by a motor (grip bar drive motor) MS. When the motor M rotates, the other end of the bar 81 is moved up and down by the eccentric cam 83, so by rotating the motor M in synchronization with punching or stapling work, the weight of the paper holding lever 80 can be used to load the paper before binding. You can hold down the copies that have been made. FIG. 8 shows the positions of the motor, sensor, and solenoid provided in the copy paper processing device, and will be briefly described below. FIG. 9 is a block diagram of a control circuit when the copy paper processing apparatus according to the present invention is used in combination with a copying machine. The control circuit of the copy paper processing device l includes the above-mentioned sensors p.
s + ~ PS, and the signals from these sensors as CP
The control circuit of the copying apparatus 2 consists of a sensor input circuit 101 that converts the data into a form that can be processed by the U 100, and a drive circuit 102 that drives the motors M1 to M1° and SD+.
I-(sensors R3, ~RS5 provided in the apparatus 3, a sensor input circuit 201 that converts signals from these sensors into a form that can be processed by the CPU 200, and a sensor input circuit 201 on the main body panel of the copying apparatus 2) A copy button 202 provided in the form of an operation button, a size selection button 203 for selecting the size of copy paper, a mode selection button 204 for selecting the processing mode of the copy paper processing device l, and a binding button for specifying the binding position. A stop position designation button 205, a punch designation button 206 to designate whether or not to punch, and an automatic document size detection button 207 to automatically determine the size of copy paper by detecting the size of the document by the RDH device 3; It consists of a numeric keypad 208 for setting the number of copies or copies. Each time the size selection button 203 is pressed, the selected size changes in the order of A3 → B4 → F4-A4-B5, and after that, pressing it again changes the selected size in this order. is repeated. When the mode selection button 204 is pressed once, stack mode is selected, when pressed twice, binding mode is selected, when pressed three times, punch/stitch mode is selected, and when pressed again, selection is made in this order. The mode is repeated. When the binding position designation button 205 is pressed once, the binding position is set to the 10th position.
As shown in the figure, if you press the corner a of the copy F twice, the CPU 2 of the copying device 2 will press the corner 1 three times to get both 3 and b.

The data is transmitted to the CPU 100 of the CPU 100. On the other hand, the punch specification button 206 is coded by the CPU 200 as "punch not required" if not pressed, and "punch required" if pressed.
Transmitted to U100. In addition, as a circuit of the copying machine 2, a power supply device 300 is also provided, and when a power switch 301 also provided on the operation panel is turned on, each component circuit component of the copying machine 2 is activated from this power supply device 300. Of course, power is supplied to each constituent circuit component of the processing device 1. In addition, the operation panel of the copying apparatus 2 is provided with a density adjustment means and a magnification selection means for reduction and enlargement. Next, the operation of the copy paper processing device will be explained. The copy paper processing apparatus in this embodiment operates in the following three processing modes. (B) Stack mode A mode in which the original is simply copied like a normal copying device and is ejected to the paper output tray 40 without punching or binding. (B) Binding mode A mode in which copies consisting of multiple sheets are printed using a binding button. Bind it with . In this mode, use the binding position specification button 205 to select whether the binding position should be set to corner a only, the other corner, or both corners a and b of the copy, as shown in Figure 1O. It is now possible to do so. (c) Punch/stitch mode A copy consisting of a plurality of sheets is punched and bound with a binding metal. In this case, press the punch designation button 206,
In addition to specifying the punch position, the binding position can be selected from only a, only b, or both a and b, as in the binding mode described above. As an example, a case will be described below in which a document consisting of three A4 size sheets is copied to create two copies. To operate the copy paper processing device in any processing mode, first turn on the power switch 301 of the copying device 2.
Three yK manuscripts are placed one on top of the other on the document placement plate 11 of the RDH device 3 in the order of the first page, second page, . . . from the top. When the power switch 301 is turned on, the following initial settings for each load are performed. That is, the stapler drive motor M is rotated forward by a set number of pulses (for example, 20 pulses) and then reversely rotated, and the stapler home position sensor PS is rotated. Stop when it turns ON. The side plate spacing adjustment motor M4 rotates in the normal direction by a set number of pulses (for example, 20 pulses), then rotates in the reverse direction, and is stopped when the side plate home position sensor PS4 turns ON. The paper presser bar drive motor M is rotated in the normal direction until the paper presser bar sensor PSz is turned on, and the punch drive motor M is rotated in the normal direction until the punch sensor is turned on. Stopper drive motor MA is paper presser bar drive motor M
, and punch drive motor M are completed, are rotated in reverse for a predetermined period of time, and then rotated in forward direction until the stopper ON sensor PSs is turned ON. Stitcher drive motor M,,M,. is the binding machine sensor PS12. Only when PS13 is ON, rotate until those sensors are OFF. The above is the initialization operation. Next, the case where the punch/stitch mode is selected will be explained. FIG. 11 shows a timing chart of the punch/stitch mode. The user operates the mode selection button 204 on the operation panel to select the punch/stitch mode, and also operates the size selection button 203 to select copy paper size A4. Also,
Press the punch designation button 206 to support "punch required". Now, when the copy button 202 is turned on at time t1,
Originals are sent out one by one by the RDH device 3, copied by the copying device 2 through an electrophotographic process, and then ejected from the main body of the device 2. First copy paper Fll+F1□, F1.
The discharge of C is detected by the paper discharge microswitch MS.
The PU 200 counts the number of ejected copy sheets based on the output of the microswitch MS. Copying device 2
The number of copy sheets (3 in this example) ejected from RD
When the count value (3 in this embodiment) based on the output of the circulating paper discharge sensor R5 of the H device 3 matches, the last paper signal is output a short time later. Simultaneously with this last paper signal, a stapling start timer built into the CPU 100 starts counting. On the other hand, after turning on the copy button 202, the CPU 100
Time T1 determined by built-in start timer TM.
When , the conveyance motor M, the stapler drive motor M3, the side plate interval adjustment motor M, and the stacker 7 ten drive motor M rotate, and the path switching solenoid SD is energized. As a result, the conveyance roller 41 starts rotating, and the two staplers I! 60 is the sliding member 57.58
, the side plates 43b+ and 43bx move from the home position to a position approximately equal to the paper size, the stacker fan starts rotating, and the path switching gate 42 moves in the copy processing direction. Directed. At this time, a side plate 43b for each sheet of copy paper,
and 43b are swung left and right so as to sandwich the paper. Binding machine drive motor M and side plate spacing adjustment motor M
4 is selected when the power is turned on and after the previous binding process, it rotates in the forward direction by the number of rotations determined by t-copy paper size (for example, 20 pulses), and then reverses, and in the former case, the home position sensor PS+o The latter is designed to stop when the home position sensor PS is turned ON 5, so it is always located at the home position. Note that when both motors M and M4 rotate forward at an initial predetermined number of rotations, the home position sensor PS. and P.S.
When the sensor is ON, the motor rotates in the normal direction until the sensor turns OFF. Therefore, after time T1 has elapsed from time t1, the stapler drive motor M3 rotates by an amount that moves the stapler 60 to a position slightly outside of the paper size A4, and the side plate spacing adjustment motor M, closes the side plates 43b1 and 43b2 almost to the paper size. Rotate by the amount to move it to the A4 size position. The reason why the binding device 60 is fixed at a position slightly outside the paper size is as follows.
This is because the opening to the processing position where multiple sheets of copy paper are punched or stapled is not very wide, so that all the copy sheets can be surely placed in the processing position. Copy sheets Fll+F1□ sent sequentially to processing device L,
The sheet F13 is conveyed by a conveyance roll 44 in the processing direction through a path switching gate 42, and its discharge to the stacker 43 is detected by a sheet discharge sensor PS. When the time T3 set by the stapling start timer TM elapses after the output of the last paper signal, the paper press bar operation timer TM built in the CPU 100 starts counting, and the paper press bar drive motor M starts counting. rotates. On the other hand, the stacker 7-an stops at this point. When the time T set by the paper presser bar operation timer TM4 has elapsed, the paper presser bar drive motor M is stopped, and the stapler drive motor M starts rotating again and the two staplers are moved in the direction of the punch machine 50. start moving to. The motor M rotates and stops so that the binding position of the binding machine 60 is slightly inside the size A4 selected by the size selection button. When the stapler drive motor M stops, the stapler drive motors M, 8 and Ml. starts rotating. Drive motor M,,M,. The rotation of the lever 63 is transmitted as a linear reciprocating motion of the lever 63 through the gears 61 and 62, causing the ■-shaped lever to rotate around the fulcrum A. As a result, the lever 65 rotates and the push-down piece 67 descends while compressing the spring 66. As a result, the thin plate 68 descends along the guide 69, cuts off only one of the binding metals contained in the cartridge 70, bites into the copy, and binds it. Stitcher drive motor M,,M,. When the stapler drive motor M is stopped, the stapler drive motor M is rotated in the opposite direction and rotated by an amount that moves the stapler to a position slightly outside of the selected size A4, and then stops, and at the same time, the paper presser bar drive motor M is rotated, The drive motor M stops when the home position of the drive motor M is detected by the paper press bar sensor PS++. When the set time T of the paper press bar operation timer built in the CPU 100 has elapsed, the punch drive motor M6
starts rotating. As shown in FIG. 5, when the punch drive motor M of the punch machine 50 rotates, an ohm gear 51
rotates, and the gear 53 that meshes with it rotates. As a result, three eccentric blocks 5 are fixed to the rotating shaft of the gear 53.
4a, 54b, and 54c rotate, but the three eccentric blocks 54a, 54b, and 54c are fixed in a positional relationship that is shifted by a rotation angle of 56 degrees, respectively. In this embodiment, the eccentric block 54c has the most advanced phase, and with respect to this eccentric block 54c, the eccentric block 54a is at a phase lag of 56 degrees, and the eccentric block 54b is further delayed by 56''. Therefore, the swinging pieces 55a, 55b,
Punch pins 56a, 56b, via 55c
The punching operation by 56c also lags in time. By doing so, the load on the punch drive motor M can be reduced. When the punch sensor PS detects that the punch drive motor M has rotated once and its output changes from "H" to "L", the punch drive motor M stops. On the other hand, at this time, the stopper drive motor M7 starts to reverse rotation.
As a result, as shown in FIG. 4, the binion 447
rotates, and the drive rod 446 that meshes with it moves backward. As a result, the plate material 443 retreats while being guided by the guides 445 on both sides. When the plate 443 retreats to a certain extent, since the groove 445a of the guide 445 is inclined, the protrusions 440, 441 extending forward thereof descend, and the inclined plate 43a
It is pulled in through the openings 431a, 431b, and 431c. In particular, the copies CF II, F I! are bound together by pulling the upright piece 441a of the projecting piece 441 through the opening 431b.
, F13) can slide on the inclined plate 43a. When the stopper 43c retreats to a predetermined position, the stopper OFF sensor PS is turned on, and the stopper drive motor M7 is stopped. When the copy paper transport motor M rotates at the same time as the stopper OFF sensor PS14 turns ON, the shaft 466 shown in FIG. As a result, a portion of the bound copy paper (F II, F 12, F 13) resting on the inclined plate 43a is sent out by the feed roller 462 and slides down on the inclined plate 43a. Two pause sensors PS arranged in the width direction of the copy paper
, and PS detect the leading edge of the copy sheet sliding down, the conveying latch MC (see FIG. 8) operates and the conveying rollers 47 and 48 begin to rotate. The copy paper is transported by the transport roller 47, and the leading end of the copy paper is connected to the tray paper discharge sensor PSa.
When detected, the stopper drive motor M7 begins to rotate, and the plate 443 moves forward by the mechanism shown in FIG. When the tray discharge sensor PS6 detects the trailing edge of the copy sheet and its output is turned off, the M1 off timer TM built in the CPU 100 starts counting. The predetermined time T set by this M1 off timer TM.
After , the copy paper transport motor M stops, and the stacker fan drive motor M starts again to start blowing air. During this time, the stopper 43c moves forward and when it reaches a predetermined stop position, the tll of the stopper ON sensor PS becomes O.
Becomes FF. At this timing, the stopper drive motor M
7 stops. A portion of the transported copy paper (F ++, F +z, F
+s) is transported by the discharge paper transport means 49 and placed on the storage tray 46. Next, the punching and binding of the second copy is done in the same way as the first copy. In this way, after the two copies F2+rF2□ and F23 have been punched and stapled by the stapler, they are discharged onto the storage tray 46 in the same manner as the first copy. 12A, 12B, and 12c are front views showing the timing of the punching operation of each punch pin in the punch machine, and FIG. 13 is a punch pin stroke diagram showing the locus of the tip of each punch pin. In FIG. 13, the tip trajectory of the bunch pin 56c is shown by a solid line in ■, the tip trajectory of the bunch pin 56a is shown by a broken line in ■, and the tip trajectory of the bunch pin 56a is shown by a broken line in
The tip trajectory of the bunch pin 56b is shown by a single cast line. As mentioned above, the punching machine of this embodiment includes the bunch pin 56c, the punch pin 56a1 and the punch pin 56b.
are designed to operate sequentially with a phase shift of 56 degrees. For example, the operation of each bunch pin will be described when the thickness of the copy F is about 4.5 mm. FIG. 12A shows the state immediately before the bunch pin 56c starts punching the copy F. The operating direction of each punch line at this time is indicated by an arrow. In FIG. 13, the point S1 where the curve (■) intersects with the extension line from the top end of the recording paper is the starting point of the punching operation by the bunch pin 56c. The bunch pin 56c starts drilling, the bunch pin 56a is in the downward state, and the bunch pin 56
b is located near top dead center. In this state, if the phase difference 56'' between each punch pin is expressed by the vertical difference between the tips of each punch pin, the bunch pin 56c and the bunch pin 56
The vertical difference between the punch pin 56a and the bunch pin 56b is approximately 10 am, and the vertical difference between the punch pin 56a and the bunch pin 56b is approximately 21111. next first
The operating direction of each bunch pin does not change until the state shown in Figure 2B is reached. Therefore, the copy F is pressed and clamped by the bunch pins 56c and fixed. FIG. 12B shows the state immediately before the bunch pin 56a starts punching the copy F. In Fig. 13, the curve ``■'' intersects with the extension line from the top of the recording paper.
Point 8 is the starting point of the drilling operation by the bunch pin 56a. The operating direction of each bunch pin at this time is indicated by an arrow in FIG. 12B. The bunch pin 56a starts drilling, the bunch pin 56b is in the downward state, and the bunch pin 56c is located near the bottom dead center. In this state, if the phase difference of 56° between the punch pins is expressed by the vertical difference between the ends of each punch pin, the vertical difference between the bunch pins 56a and 56b is about 10 ml11, and the vertical difference between the punch pins 56c and 56a is about 811 m. The copy F is pressed and clamped and fixed by bunch pins 56c and 56a. FIG. 12c shows the state immediately before the bunch pin 56b starts punching the copy F. In Fig. 13, the intersection point S of the extension line from the top edge of the recording paper and the curve marked ■,
is the starting point of the drilling operation by the bunch pin 56b. At this time, the bunch pin 56c is in a raised state. The bunch pin 56a is located near the bottom dead center. In this state, if the phase difference 566 between each punch pin is expressed by the difference between the top and bottom of each punch pin tip, the bunch pin 5
The vertical difference between 6a and bunch pin 56b is approximately 9 mm. The vertical difference between bunch pin 56c and bunch pin 56b is approximately 3
ml (however, the bunch pin 56c is the same as the bunch pin 56b)
lower). Copy F therefore has bunch pin 56a
It is suppressed and clamped and fixed by the first punch pin 56b. Since each punch pin of the punch machine of this embodiment operates as described above, the copy F is fixed and holes are punched accurately at predetermined positions.

As explained above, in the present invention, a set of recording papers supplied one by one from the outside are stacked and held in the order in which they are supplied,
In the recording paper processing device configured to perform at least three punches or staple the set of recording paper at the holding position, the phase of the vertical movement of at least three punch pins of the punching machine that performs the punch processing is shifted; Since the punch pin at one end, then the punch pin at the other end, and then the punch pin at the center are configured to operate in sequence, the timing of the punches of at least three punch pins is different, so the punch drive It is possible to reduce the load on the motor, and when each punch pin is used to punch holes, force is applied to the copy in the direction of pressing and clamping the copy by the pins, so the copy is fixed and holes can be punched accurately in the predetermined position. We have now been able to provide a recording paper processing device that can do this.
