巻量が少なくなる頃予備粗糸巻6を、クリール1
の前部に突設したブラケツト7に取り付けた予備
粗糸巻用ボビンハンガ8に懸吊配置し、供給粗糸
巻3がほとんどなくなる頃にその未端あるいは切
断端と予備粗糸巻6の口端とを接合して交換する
ことにより粗糸替え作業を合理化している。とこ
ろが、予備粗糸巻6がフリーな状態に放置される
場合には、口端9は機台の振動等によつて巻き戻
され落下して他の供給粗糸4に絡まつたり、ある
いは牽伸部に入つて糸切れ等を起こし、製品を害
するという欠点があつた。

その下端部に断面コ字状に形成された押え杆11
を支軸12を介して取り付け、その押え杆11に
より予備粗糸巻6の胴部を押圧し口端9を支持す
るように構成した粗糸垂れ防止装置が提案され
た。しかし前記の粗糸垂れ防止装置は各予備粗糸
巻用ボビンハンガ8毎に取り付ける必要があるの
で取り付けに手数を要し、高価であるとともに面
倒であつた。

糸巻29胴部の直径に若干の不同があつても必ず
胴部が板状押圧部材38に接し、粗糸の垂れ下が
りを防止することができる。また、この押圧部材
38はテープ状部材やロープ状部材等の柔軟部材
でも、剛体部材であつてもよい。
