Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は食物容器、殊に通気孔を有して他の同形の容器
と抱き合せ状に積重ね自在である食物容器に関する。
様々な広く異なる材料から製作される多数の食物容器が
ここ数年、提案されている。新鮮な製品を包装する場合
、事実上密閉された容器が殊に貯蔵と展示のために他の
容器の上に積重ねされた時に、中味の新鮮さを保つため
に、容器の回りに冷たい空気を適切に流動させることの
できることが大切である。事実上密閉された食物容器に
ついて同じ位、重要なことは、内部の水蒸気の量と蒸気
圧を制御すると同時に、容器にガス流を出し入れするた
めの仕組みである。これらの要因に正しく着目すること
により、長期間にわたって魅力的で新鮮な外観を有する
、容器入り食物が生まれる。
従って、ガスを流すための開放した通路を容器の回りに
与えると同時に、抱き合せ関係にほぼ同形の容器を相互
に積重ねることができるようにする構造特徴を有する食
物容器を与えることが本発明の一目的である。
本発明のいま一つの目的は、包装された食物を長期間、
魅力的かつ新鮮な状態に維持する食物容器を与えること
である。
本発明のさらに一つの目的は、設計が単純で製作が容易
な食物容器を与えることである。
本発明によれば、食物容器は下部部材と、組合せた際に
下部部材を覆うように構成され配備される上部ふた部材
と、を含む。下部部材は下方底壁ど、底壁を囲んで上方
に延在する側壁とを含み、下方底壁に、複数の隔置され
た下方に延在するくぼみが形成される。くほみの各々は
下部部材の周囲の側壁から内方に隔置された内壁表面を
有し、これらの表面が集合的に特定の輪郭を画成する。
上部ふた部材は、前記くぼみの内壁表面により画成され
る輪郭とほぼ同形であるが少しそれよりも小さい輪郭を
有する立上り中央部分を有し、この関係により、組合せ
られた食物容器が相互に積重ねられた時に、上部ふた部
材の立上り中央部分がくぼみの間に抱合せ状に、はまり
込むことができる。上部ふた部材の立上り中央部分に通
気口がある。立上り中央部分の高さはくぼみよシも低い
ことに意味がある。というのは、この関係により、食物
容−を積重ねた時に、下部部材の下方底壁なふたの立上
り中央部分から隔置するからである。
その結果、隔置されたくぼみ、下部部材の下方底壁、お
よび複数の通気口を有するふた部材の立上り中央部分、
の間に開放通路が設けられる。
望ましくは、上部ふた部材の立上り中央部分はへこんだ
区域を含み、通気孔はこのへこみ区域にある。
さらに、下部部材の下方底壁はほぼ矩形であり、隔置さ
れた下方に延在するくぼみはその隅に、４隅の各々に１
個づつ配置される。この配備において、くぼみの各々は
Ｌ字形であることが望ましい。
上部ふた部材は上方に延在する同項を含み、立上９中央
部分は同項から上方に延在することかできる。さらに、
立上り中央部分の輪郭と、ぐほみの内壁表面によって集
合的に画成される輪郭と、は矩形であることができる。
下部部材と上部ふた部材は、外方に延在し相互に保合自
在の周縁フランジを含むことが望ましい。
周縁フランジは加熱シールまたは代りに粘着材により、
解放自在に結合されることができる。また、周縁フラン
ジの各々は、必要な時に上部ふた部材を下部部材から容
易に取外せるように、分離タブを含むことができる。
望ましい実施例において、下部部材と上部ふた部材は透
明塩化ポリビニールから製作されることができる。
類似参照番号が類似部品を表わす添付図面を参照しつつ
以下の詳細な説明を５読すれば、上記以外の本発明の漸
新な特徴および利点が当業者にとって明らかとなるであ
ろう。
特に第１図ないし第４図を参照すると、食物容器１０は
下部部材１２と、図示のように容器を組立てた時に下部
部材を覆うようにされた上部ふた部材１４と、を含む。
食物容器１０は、例えば、成形、スタンピングおよび加
圧成形のような公知の技法により透明塩化ビニールから
製作されることができる。また、塩化ポリビニールが望
ましいけれども、他の材料も同様に適当である。さらに
、上部ふた部材と下部部材は、各々が同形の部材と入れ
子自在になるように、適当な抜き勾配をもって製作され
ることも、指摘すべきである。よって、組立て前には、
下部部材１２は入れ子犬の積重ねで貯蔵され、上部ふた
部材１４も同様に貯蔵されることができる。
下部部材１２は下方底壁１６と、底壁を囲んで上方に延
在する側壁１８とを含む。第４図に良く示されるように
、複数の隔置されて下方に延在するぐぼみ２０が下部部
材１２の下方底壁に配置される。図示の実施例において
、下方底壁はほぼ矩形であり、隔置されて下方に延在す
るくぼみ２０は底壁の隅に、４隅の各々に１個づつ配置
される。
この配備において、くぼみの各々はＬ字形であって、そ
の一方の脚は容器の側面にそって走り、他方の脚は容器
の端面にそって走る。くぼみ２０の間に開放空間２２が
設けられ、これらの開口部が以下に、より詳しく説明す
るように、食物容器の下側に通路を画成する。第１図と
第２図で明らかなように、くぼみ２０は容器の脚を形成
する。
くぼみ２０の各々は下部部材１２の周囲の側壁１８から
内方に隔置される内壁表面２４．２６を有する。内壁表
面２４は食物容器１０の側面に整合しており、内壁表面
２６は食物容器の端面に整合している。第４図に良く示
されるように、くぼみ２０の内壁表面２４．２６は集合
的に特定の輪郭を画成し、図示の実施例では、そのよう
な輪郭はほぼ矩形である。以下に、より詳しく説明する
ように、この輪郭は、組立てられた容器１０が相互に積
重ねられた時に、抱合せのはめ合いを与えるように、上
部ふた部材１４にある同形の輪郭を補合する。
上部ふた部材１４は、くぼみ２０の内壁表面により画成
された輪郭よりも少し小さい、それとほぼ同形の、この
場合、矩形の、輪郭を有する立上り中央部分２８を含む
。第５図および第６図に明らかなように、組立てられた
食物容器１０が相互に積重ねられた時に、上部ふた部材
１４の立上り中央部分２８がぐほみ２０の内壁表面の間
に抱合せ状に、はまり込む。
さらに、上部ふた部材１４は、望ましくは立上り中央部
分２８にある複数の通気口３０を含む。
また、立上り中央部分２８はへこんだ区域３２を含み、
通気口はこのへこんだ区域にあることが望ましい。実際
の用法において、ラベルの形式をとる通気性薄膜（図示
せず）がへこんだ区域３２の上に配置されて、容器に出
入りする種々のガスに、制御された透過性を与える。薄
膜の透過性は、容器１０内に包装された食品に理想的な
環境を与えるように選択される。水蒸気および蒸気圧も
同様にラベル状薄膜により制御される。また通気口３０
は薄膜から引込んでいるので、通気口に隣り合せている
かも知れない食品のすべては薄膜ラベルから隔置されて
いて、薄膜の汚染を防止する。
第５図および第６図は、下部部材１２のくぼみ２０と上
部ふた部材１４の立上り中央部分２８との間の輪郭を良
く図解する。実質的に、立上シ中央部分の垂直高さはく
ぼみの高さよりも小さく、この関係によって、組立てら
れた食物容器１０が相互に積重ねられた時に、下部部材
１２の下方底壁１６を上部ふた部材１４の立上り中央部
分２８から隔置する。望ましくは、立上り中央部分２８
はくほみ２０の高さの約３分の１である。
くぼみ２０の間の開口部２２、および下方底壁１６と立
上り中央部分２８との間の間隔、の効果は積重ねた食物
容器１０の下側に流れの通路を与えることである。ガス
は下方底壁１６と立上り中央部分２８によって画成され
る通路にそって進行し、通気口３０を通って容易に容器
に出入りすることができる。そのようなガスはくぼみ２
０Ω間の開口部２２を通って出入りする。
下部部材１２は立上った周囲縁３４と、外方に延在する
周縁フランジ３６と、を含む。同様に上部ふた部材１４
は下部部材の立上９周囲縁３４を補合する周囲縁３８を
有する。食物容器が組立てられた時に、下部部材の周縁
フランジ３６に係合する、外方に延在する周縁フランジ
４０をも上部部材１４が含む。食品が下部部材１２の中
に入れられ、上部ふた部材１４が下部部材を覆った後で
、周縁フランジ３６．４０は加熱シールによシ解放自在
に結合される。代りに、この相互係合自在の周縁フラン
ジ３６．４０は粘着材により解放自在に係合されること
もできる。さらに、上部ふた部材を下部部材から取外し
易いように、各周縁フランジは分離タブ４２．４４を含
むことができる。
上部分離タブ４２は下部分離タブ４４に相互係合するけ
れども、加熱シールまたは粘着の際に°タブは結合され
ない。タブを相互に反対方向に付勢することにより、周
縁フランジを相、互から引き離すことが容易である。
容器１０の下部部材と上部ふた部材の容易な分離は、内
方に配置される立上り周囲縁３４と上部ふた部材の補合
する周囲縁３８との幾何学形状によって助けられる。基
本的には、フランジ４０はタブ４２によってそのフラン
ジと周囲縁３８との接続部を中心にして上方に動かされ
る。同様に、下部フランジ３６はタブ４４によってその
フランジと周囲縁３４との接続部を中心にして下方に動
かされる。相互係合するフランジに隣接する、この段違
い配備が容器の分離を容易にする。
第１図および第２図に良く示されるように、くぼみ、つ
まり容器の脚２０は、基本的に周凹壁１８の延長部を形
成する外壁表面４８を含む。また、これらのくぼみは中
空であるから、食物が包装されることに伴う残留水分の
集積個所として働くことにも注目すべきである。さらに
、上部ふた部材１４は上方に延在する同項４６を含み、
立上り中央部分２８はこの同項から上方に延在すること
もできる。同項形上部ふたは包装された食物を完全にあ
られにする。
第５図は２つの異なるサイズの容器１０，１０Ａを示す
。容器１０．Ａは周囲の側壁１８Ａの高さが低いこと以
外は全ての点で容器ｌＯに類似している。これらの容器
は、例えばきのこ、ブロッコリーおよび図中の苺５０の
ような生鮮食品を包装するのに殊に有用である。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、下部部材と、組合せた時に該下部部材を覆うように
    構成され配備される上部ふた部材と、を含む食物容器で
    あつて、前記下部部材は下方底壁と該底壁を囲んで上方
    に延在する側壁とを含み、前記下方底壁にあつて下方に
    延在する隔置された複数のくぼみの各々が、前記下部部
    材の前記周囲の側壁から内方に隔置される内壁表面を有
    し、前記下部部材の前記下方底壁にある前記くぼみの内
    壁表面は集合的に或る輪郭を画成し、前記くぼみの内壁
    表面により画成される前記輪郭とほぼ等しいけれどもそ
    れより僅かに小さい輪郭を有する立上り中央部分を前記
    ふた部材が含んでおり、それにより、組合せられた食物
    容器が相互に積重ねられた時に、前記上部ふた部材の立
    上り中央部分が前記くぼみの内壁表面の間に抱合せ状に
    、はまり込むことになり、前記上部ふた部材の立上り中
    央部分にへこんだ個所があり、該へこんだ個所に複数の
    通気口があり、前記上部ふた部材の立上り中央部分の高
    さは前記くぼみの高さよりも小さく、それにより、組合
    せられた食物容器が相互に積重ねられた時に、前記下部
    部材の下方底壁は前記上部ふた部材の立上り中央部分か
    ら隔置されることになるので、前記隔置されたくぼみと
    、前記下部部材の下方底壁と、前記へこんだ個所に複数
    の通気口を有する前記上部ふた部材の立上り中央部分と
    、の間に開放通路を与えることになる、食物容器。 ２、前記下部部材の下方底壁はほぼ矩形であり、該下方
    底壁にあつて隔置されて下方に延在する前記くぼみは前
    記下方底壁の隅に、その４隅の各々に１個づつ配置され
    る、請求項１記載の食物容器。 ３、前記下部部材の下方底壁にある前記隔置され、下方
    に延在するくぼみの各々はＬ字形である、請求項２記載
    の食物容器。 ４、前記下部部材の下方底壁にある前記隔置され、下方
    に延在するくぼみの各々は外壁表面を含み、該外壁表面
    は前記下部部材の周囲の側壁の延長部を形成する、請求
    項１記載の食物容器。 ５、前記下部部材の下方底壁はほぼ矩形である、請求項
    １記載の食物容器。 ６、前記上部ふた部材は上方に延在する円頂を含み、前
    記立上り中央部分は前記円頂から上方に延在する、請求
    項１記載の食物容器。 ７、前記下部部材の下方底壁にあるくぼみの前記内壁表
    面によつて集合的に画成される輪郭と、前記上部ふた部
    材の立上り中央部分の輪郭と、は矩形である、請求項１
    記載の食物容器。 ８、前記上部ふた部材の立上り中央部分の高さは、前記
    下部部材の下方底壁にあるくぼみの高さの約３分の１で
    ある、請求項１記載の食物容器。 ９、前記下部部材および前記上部ふた部材は外方に延在
    する、相互に係合する周縁フランジを含む、請求項１記
    載の食物容器。 １０、前記周縁フランジは加熱シールにより解放自在に
    結合される、請求項９記載の食物容器。 １１、前記周縁フランジは粘着材により解放自在に結合
    される、請求項９記載の食物容器。 １２、前記相互に係合する周縁フランジの各々は、前記
    上部ふた部材を前記下部部材から取外し易くするために
    分離タブを含む、請求項９記載の食物容器。 １３、前記下部部材および前記上部ふた部材は透明塩化
    ポリビニールから製作される、請求項１記載の食物容器
    。 １４、前記下部部材はその前記周縁フランジに隣接して
    立上つた周囲縁を含み、前記上部ふた部材はその前記周
    縁フランジに隣接して補合する周囲縁を含む、請求項１
