中空の機体内に、互いに内向きに回転する一対の
回転軸を平行に横架し、この回転軸に、適宜の厚
さと径を有する円板状の多数枚の刃をそれぞれ嵌
合するとともに、一方の回転軸に嵌合させた上記
刃の刃先が他方の回転軸に嵌合させた刃の刃先と
互いに摺れ合いながら交互に刃と刃との間に嵌入
しつつ互いに内向きに回転するように固定するこ
とによつて、機械的に5mm前後の幅を有する糸切
り肉を切れるようにした食肉用糸切り機を実願昭
59−34403号として提案した。

ので、頻繁に糸切り機の切断部分を掃除しなけれ
ばならない欠点のあることが判つた。上記先願の
糸切り機にも、それぞれの回転軸上に固定した刃
と刃との間に先端が入るようにした一対の櫛歯形
のガイド板が設けられていた。しかしながら、従
来機のガイド板は、材料肉片を機体内に差し込む
開口部の直下で回転軸の上方に沿つて横架した支
持軸に基端を枢着されて、櫛歯部がのれん状に肉
の差込み方向に沿つて下向きに設けられていたの
で、材料肉片を切断位置へ誘導する機能は有して
いたが、刃やカラー等の回転部分に付着して一体
に回ろうとする脂肪や肉の筋をそぎ落すようなス
クレーパー的な機能を有するものではなく、その
ために前述のような支障をきたすものであること
が判つた。
